I did not think physical therapy would work. I was very wrong! The exercises I did were sometimes difficult, but over time I got my strength back. The staff are excellent, and helped lift my spirits when I needed it most. Their advice was was always helpful, and now I'm a total believer in the use of physical therapy to deal with my back pain, numbness and loss of strength! Thank you, Brett, Barbie, Holly, and Carmen for your help during a difficult time!

Wouldn't go anywhere else!! Fun, caring, humorous and educated staff here. From the greeting by Carmen when you enter, to the treatments by Barbie, Dan, Brett and Holly, you will feel like you have known them for years. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER with physical therapy!!! Seriously, go check them out :D

I went to the West Salem Benchmark, but I'm leaving this review because the PTA, Barbie, was incredible and now works at this location. To anyone thinking of going here, trust me your first visit will suck because you'll have to sit down with one of those pedantic Doctors of Physical Therapy we all hate. (They might as well be lawyers or congressmen) But if you stick around for the second, it will be well worth it because then you get to deal with Barbie, by far the most amazing PTA on earth. She's great, funny, kind, caring and knows her stuff! Her only flaws are that she abandoned me and thinks the Air Force is a legitimate military branch.

I have never laughed so much while working out my pain. I truly believe the laughter helped me as much as the exercises. Such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere it made attending a joy. I have other physical therapy experiences that were not nearly as helpful. By keeping things simple the therapists made it easy to keep up with my “homework”. Thank you Melinda, Barbie, and Beatrice for everything.

This is a second go around with this facility as to my first time was so agreeable. The staff treat you as if your were family, with great kindness and care. My improvement is due to the administration and encouragement of the therapist. I will choose this facility again if in the future I have the need. They actually made it fun.

I have had a great experience at Benchmark. Dan, the physical therapist, professionally and quickly evaluated where I was at with my hip issue, let me know realistically and honestly what level of activity he thought he could get me back to and set up a great progressive program for me to work on at the office visits along with home exercises that helped me see progress quickly and consistently. Kim, the receptionist/office clerk is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. When I first went in just a month ago, I had significant pain and stiffness in my hip and had difficulty doing everyday tasks like walking for extended periods, tying my shoes, getting up from a chair, or getting in and out of the car. I am back to being able to do these with little or no pain and I am continuing to see progress in decreased pain, increased flexibility and stamina. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality and successful physical therapy in the mid-Willamette Valley area.

I would highly recommend this Benchmark office. From my first visit they listened to my pain description and applied to my therapy program. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and very engaged in my therapy. The atmosphere is very pleasant and I actually looked forward to coming to physical therapy. They have given me an exercise program to follow (complete with pictures). With the exercise’s they have given me I feel very confident that I can successfully continue on my own. I am hopeful that I wont require physical therapy again, but if I do I know exactly where I will go.

Benchmark PT im Dallas is so warm and welcoming. Kim manages the front and she is patient, kind and professional. Dan is the physical therapist and he is very knowledgable and makes the therapy fun. They have made my whole family welcome for both PT needs and when I have had to bring kids with me. My shoulder is so much better!! THANK YOU!!!

I drive 40 minutes to get to this office despite living half a mile from a closer office. Why? 1) Because no one knows how to manage the human body like the staff here 2) Patience, kindness and joy radiates from all of them 3) Being in this building is like hanging out with your friends which makes it easier to endure the pain. --- It doesn't hurt that the equip is all new and sparkling clean too. Highly recommend.

BenchMark Physical Therapy changed my life. I had struggled with chronic back and neck pain for over 10 years. This limited my activity and at times immobilized me. Dan diagnosed the problem as a muscle imbalance and oversaw my rehabilitation after an acute neck spasm. He and Kim taught me how to get into shape and stay that way, for a healthier, more active life. I now know what to do when I experience back pain--and I know how to prevent it. They gave me the tools to build strength and protect myself from injury. They truly cared about my recovery--they listened to my needs and input and helped me find a long-term solution to chronic pain. Thank you Dan and Kim!
