Staff is inherently unfamiliar with the fundamental principals of bladder drainage.
My family member presented with sudden stricture when voiding, abdominal swelling and lethargy with a history of urethral scarring. Urinalysis was ordered and patient was sent home. FIVE DAYS later called to check on results- oh, yeah, you should probably go to the emergency room.
This is the quality of care our veterans receive after serving our country faithfully through two wars.
I have never been more disappointed with the quality of healthcare than I have been with the VA.
It is nothing more than a bandaid station.
