Mena Mountain Resort is family owned and Lou & Denny treat you like family! I had a mishap while visiting the area and they went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I were taken care of! They even allowed us to extend our stay while I recovered. The rooms are amazing and well stocked. I've never stayed anywhere that I didn't have to request more towels! There were even 2 recliners to relax and watch TV. I'm looking forward to my next stay!

I don't think you will find better people than the owners of this fine establishment. I stayed here 2 different weeks and the owners were absolutely great both times. They are polite and courteous.
The rooms were clean, well decorated and quiet.
I was in the area both weeks working. The 2nd week we came over, we brought our side by side. Lou (the owner) took time out of his afternoon one day, to take a quick ride and show me a few places.
The water was hot, the air conditioning cold. The beds were comfortable.
This is one of those little gems that you come across.
Denny ( I think that is her name) was always spectacular.
I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
And 1 other thing. Because there are limited rooms, the owners know their guest and treat you with respect and will quickly become on a first name basis with their guest. And they truly make you feel like a guest and not a customer.

This place was awesome! The staff were all friendly and helpful...they somehow remained available, while also completely unobtrusive. The owner was on-site as well, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She even went out and purchased a gel foam mattress topper for a member of our party who felt the beds were too firm. We couldn't ask for better service! The rooms were spacious and functional. There is a nice lobby, kitchen, dining area, game room, a pool, and an above ground hot tub, that are always available to use, at any hour. We had the entire outdoor area to ourselves the whole time we were there (4 days, in early October). There are also grills available to use, complete with cooking utensils. There are plenty of comfortable outdoor seating options as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. We would visit again and recommend to others. :)

It was peaceful, clean, and beautiful. We were a last minute check in for our anniversary and we loved it. No smoking in the rooms but that was fine with us, they had all sorts of areas on the deck and outdoors if you need to smoke. The hot tub and pool were great, a nice little breakfast set up. Lots of towels in the room, and the bed was so big and soft with bright beautiful sheets and blankets, we will definitely drive out and stay again

Beautiful area! The lodging is very home like. Everything you need and if you need anything owners are present and can help address any issue. Beds are comfortable and each room has a theme.. also a pool is available. Very reasonably priced and plenty of parking.

I don’t know where to begin, because there’s so much I could share… My brother came from another state, and we hadn’t seen each other in a while, so we decided to stay at this amazing resort to ‘catch up, and just visit’. We had adjoining rooms. Once you realize how great it is there, the owners then take it to another level by making your experience, even better. Although they are obviously busy (very), we got top notch care, as well the feeling they would take any amount of time on every guest. First; the hotel is in a beautiful location, backed up to the forest. Each room is large (really large!), and full of charm. Some even have a walk around balcony out your french doors. And and each one is different from the others. No two rooms match. They are all decorated different from the rest. The owners are wonderful. A genuine and charming couple. They give you the feeling that you’ve gone home to visit family. They are professional, yet add so much more charm. So glad to have you stayed with them. The saying ‘actions speak louder than words’ comes to mind. Their actions speak volumes. I want to go back, just to stay a couple of nights - to just relax and say ahhhh. I have never had better customer service. They make you feel like family here. I stayed here for two weeks and absolutely loved it and especially Mrs Denni. I would have coffee in the hot tub in the morning (which is luxurious) and watch the chickadees land on plants around the pool. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Also, they have high quality sheets. I highly recommend this retreat. I did not use the game room but will if I return!

My wife and I spent 4 days 3 nights at the Mena Mountain Resort. The room was immaculate the facilities are very very nice. The people that run it, especially Miss Denny in particular, treat you like family. My wife and I have spent many nights in hotels. I have no recollection of ever staying in a hotel where the room was that clean. We were very pleased and we will be back. And I highly recommend it.

A beautiful hotel. The rooms are big. Everything is clean. In a very comfortable setting. Denni, our host, was very personable and friendly. We had a wonderful time here, and would definately recommend it to anyone traveling through this area.

Lovely place and wonderful owners. Comfy and clean rooms. Loved the pool after a hot day's outings. Mini fridge in room. While no microwave/coffee makers in rooms, they are easily accessible. Actually I thought this a brilliant move on the owner's part as it enables them to keep fewer appliances maintained. Grills and kitchen space available for guest use; we'll keep this in mind for future. Pool tables, shuffle board, Scrabble, checkers, and other games there to play in common areas. Books are on the shelf to borrow while there. Close to lots of outdoor activities.

What an unexpected jewel!! The owners make you feel right at home, the rooms are spacious, clean, filled with all the essentials. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Super cute place room was great beds were super comfortable. They have a great pool hot tub and pool house with shuffle board and pool table. People that own it are very friendly and helpful. We definely will come back very family oriented place.

Good decent place. Owners are really helpful and make sure you are attended to. Rooms are good sized and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is limited but filling. Game room is a good place to hang around with your group for dinner and drinks. All lower floor rooms lead to pool. We really enjoyed being there

We stayed 2 nights and days here. This place is a lil slice of heaven!! Super sweet owners n the facilities are immaculate! I can't wait to go back. Very quiet and serene. Top notch everything when ya stay here.

Great location! Love that there is space/land around the property, it's not crammed into a tiny area. Tons of parking. Beautiful and clean. Great stay. I recommend staying here.

Amazing! By far the best place I've ever stayed on any vacation! My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip up the talimena drive for our 10th anniversary. We didn't have a place to stay planned when we headed out. This place was actually booked up but called back with a cancellation. So thankful they did because we couldn't have stayed at a more comfortable beautiful place. It was so homey and peaceful. They have the coolest layout with their spacious rooms that have french doors to a balcony that leads around the whole place. It is ran by hospitable husband and wife owners that make you feel at home. They are proud of their establishment and you can tell by how they treat their guest. Will definitely go back! We are already trying to plan something with friends and family in the future.

We drove from Tulsa to Arkadelphia, AR to take some used furniture for our oldest granddaughter who is setting up her first house as she finishes up her last year of college. We knew we would not be driving all the way back in the same day. My wife suggested she would like to find a place with an outdoor pool. We were delighted to find Mena Mountain Resort. It is a charming privately owned oasis. The owners were charming. The rooms were quaint and exceedingly comfortable. The outdoor pool was beautiful. Add a pizza and salad from Little Italy II and you have a perfect evening.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in a wide-array of different hotels/motels over the years. This is one of my favorite hotels. Great atmosphere, clean rooms, nice pool, great location and the owners are awesome. Highly recommended.

Owners are very nice people. We enjoyed our stays. We have stayed three times over the past few years. We will be back.
