Toad Suck Ferry Damsite Park

Stayed here because the name is so River. Next to the dam in the AR river. Beautiful park. Very affordable.

I've gone to this same place twice now. The last time a few days ago, when we had pretty snow, I took some pictures, and what I can say it's not fancy, but it's great for anyone that enjoys driftwood and rocks. Have fun!

The park attendants are so nice, and very welcoming... I love how the fishing challenge is here. You literally have to monitor the water and the gates to time the bite on the blue cats, the stripers and hybrids. Bream are plentiful! I'm waiting on the BIG 1 TO SCREAM FOR BATTLE.

It's level on each side wasn't used to seeing that the nimbus damn is full only one side. I loved it seeing all the families fishing.

Beautiful park. Very peaceful. Wish it had sewer. Grass is full of little sticker balls so be careful with dog paws.

Clean and friendly COE campground big sites.18 TO 20 a night. Tar roads and pads. Definitely recommend.

nice place. Paved back-in sites with water and electric - but no on-site sewer connections. Dog and kid friendly. Bathhouse clean and well maintained. Nice place. Recommended!

The park is well maintained and patrolled. I consider it a safe and pleasant area: to Walk, camp, fish, visit and watch the sunrise from the Perry County side of the Park.. When the Water level is low enough ; I enjoy the walk down the Sand bar! You can walk about as far down the river as you want! The Parks - Showers/Restrooms, hot water and clean! I've always lived within a few miles from the River. Toad suck Park accommodates, from Tent camping, to the largest Motor Home's.. Typically, very nice RV's and Motorhomes fill this Park. It's a safe, quiet high-brow campground in general.. Certainly NOT a Park for loud partying! Maybe an occasional Birthday party..

Very clean bathrooms and grassy areas mowed. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. We love camping there!

Excellent campground for RVs or tent camping! Many sites offer a good view of the water and the park is beautiful itself. The staff are very friendly and the park is clean and quiet: perfect for a relaxing vacation! Oh, and dog friendly as well.

Nice place to watch the sun rise. Park is clean, showers have hot water and are typically well maintained. RV areas stay pretty full, not too many tent campers. Several open fields are available for soccer and other games, there are multiple pavilions and playgrounds for children. Lots of locals fish around the dam.

Great facilities. Super clean on the Arkansas river. Huge sites.

Got to love COE camping. Friendly staff. Quite, safe, great views

This is a well-kept jewel of a park for those who like the great outdoors, but don't want to be too far from civilization. Lots of nature around to enjoy. Located on the shore of the mighty Arkansas River. Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. I give an excellent rating, but if you like more rustic camping, this one probably isn't for you. Better suited to trailers, pop-ups and RVs. :-)

Great sites with super helpful staff

The campsite had plenty of shade and an enormous amount of space. The campground managers were friendly and helpful! Lots of great fishing on the river and close to the city of Conway!

Spent several days and nights. Beautiful setting. Several ideal campsites closed due to repairs. Too bad these couldn't be done during winter months. We are from Washington State and during winter campground do not get a lot of use. In Arkansas that might not be the case.

I've loved this place since I was a kid. Now I am taking my daughter and she loves it as well, and that goes for both sides of the river.
