Phenomenal place with great knowledge for archery. Very thorough and will make sure you are 100% satisfied before you leave. I would recommend making an appointment if you’re coming from a farm distance, as they are very busy from the great quality of work they perform! Wouldn’t take my bow anywhere else after going here! Highly recommend.

I bought a Bear Species EV from them. Dalton took care of me, tuned my bow, answered all my questions, and provided great recommendations; all while from 1000+ miles away. Bought it via the website betteroutdoors.net I highly recommend these folks!

It’s very rare that business owners exceed my expectations, however I can honestly say, Dalton and Julie owners of Better Outdoors did just that. After watching and following their channels on both YouTube and Instagram and thoroughly researching their services I scheduled their Stage 3 tunes for both my Era and my Omnia.

I drove 4 hours for my appointment and upon arrival was greeted not like a customer but as a friend. From there Dalton went to work. He took my bows and gave them a thorough inspection and notice quickly I had damage to the strings on my Era. As a true professional and out of concern for safety Dalton decided not to tune the Era until the strings were replaced. Instead of taking my money for the tune of this bow he didn’t like some shops I am used to. Awesome start!

Dalton began to work on my Omnia. After confirming my draw length and draw weight Dalton pulled out a chart and began filling in all the information. I chuckled as this reminded me of a doctors visit. Dalton was very thorough even checking and confirming the correct arrow spine that I should be shooting. After the preliminaries were complete, the fun started which was shooting. Not only was Dalton tuning my bow , but part of the service is also personalized coaching. Dalton is very patient and is a very good communicator. He showed me things to look for as a shooter that I had never heard of before. We even tweaked my grip ever so slightly and that made my shooting even better.

As Dalton was making the adjustments on my Omnia to get to the point of sighting in my sight, which with the stage 3 tune you not only sight in field points but you also sight in your broadheads to hit where your field points do. No matter how long this takes both field points and broadheads will hit in the same spot or you don’t leave the shop. Dalton wants you to have confidence in your gear. Great added service to this tune, which with the shops in my area do not conduct this type of service. Amazing service at this point is an understatement to say the least!!

So while Dalton was making the tuning adjustments to my bow I began to ask him and Julie questions about the Mathew’s Phase 4. I decided I wanted to shoot it and see what this brand and bow was like. Julie quickly set it up for me. After setting up the bow for me to shoot Dalton went back to work on my bow as Julie took me to range to assist me in demoing the Phase 4 not only speaking about the Phase 4 but also answering every little question and concerns I had for the bow. Well….lol… after shooting the phase 4 I decided I wanted to add this bow to my arsenal. I am a 100% Elite guy and always will be, but shooting the Phase 4 and all my questions answered thoroughly, I felt confident this was going to be a great investment for me. So after the adjustments on my Omnia he then had to begin working on setting up and building my new bow and I added the stage 3 tune for this one as well. This is when the fun really began. As Dalton was building my new bow he was very meticulous and methodical in helping me decide what accessories to purchase that were not only to my liking but also practical. Dalton could’ve easily put anything I wanted on the new bow but like a true professional would advise against a high ticket item I may have thought was “cool” or “trendy” for practically and use which in the long run was going to save me money. Again, for me this is not what I was used to and my expectations were blown away again.

After setting up both my new bow and my Omnia we spoke about proper arrows which I knew I was going to need and already knew I was going to purchase. After the consultation on arrows I went with the Black Eagle Rampage, which they custom built for me as part of the service! Dalton is very meticulous in building the arrows. Highly recommend getting arrows from them.

Dalton and Julie went above and beyond for me. What started out as tunes for my bows ended up in purchase for a custom built bow. I can say they have earned my business for life!!!! Thank You Dalton and Julie!!!!

I ordered a bow from them recently, I normally would have wanted to go to a shop and purchase a bow but after seeing reviews and videos left by customers and the business themself I had to order from better outdoors archery shop. The bow shipped quickly and was set up near perfectly for me right out of the box. I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase!

Dalton and family (Better Outdoors) are doing something special and are definitely not just another "bow shop". Even though I was an avid shooter 20 years ago, I consider myself a novice at the moment and sometimes that can be intimidating. I felt completely comfortable during the whole process.. Type of folks that you feel like you've known your whole life.
I was looking for someone who cared to set up my bow as it was their own, and despite my high standards, Dalton exceeded them. There is no "eyeballing adjustments" or good enough involved in a bow tune by Dalton. If it is not perfect, it is not leaving the shop - period/hard stop/the end. Also, at no time was an attempt made to upsell any item in the shop - even though he has drool worthy bows and accessories in stock! I hope what I have communicated that Better Outdoors is an extremely professional shop, with highly skilled professionals, who put the customer first. Worth the drive from any distance and I could not give any higher recommendation.

Had an appointment at 1pm they were ready for me right on time. Had lots of tuning that needed to be done and he took the time to make sure it was all correct. Then spent some time correcting some form issues that I had/have. They know what they are doing and seem to enjoy it and it shows. Great experience will definitely be my go to bow shop from now on.

First off, this is the first review I have ever done. I don't ever review businesses but after the positive experience I had with Better Outdoors I felt like I had to leave a review. I have owned countless bows over the past 10 years and the dedication and care they put into tuning my new bow and adjusting my form has improved my shot exponentially. I took my bow out the day after getting it set up at Better Outdoors and can honestly say i have never had such tight groupings and accurate long shots. Along with the flawless professional tuning and expert coaching, Better Outdoors has by far the best selection of bows and archery equipment I have ever seen. No matter your skill set or the type of shooting you do, Better Outdoors will have what you need.

I’m so grateful for Better Outdoors. Their knowledge and expertise is priceless. As a first time buyer of archery equipment, I felt overwhelmed with draw length, weight, and what was the right type of equipment for me. I had previously shopped around at different archery shops and was told I could pull back a 55 lb bow. After a few attempts I almost blew out my shoulder. When I first arrived at Better Outdoors they showed me a Prowess bow that both fit my needs and was in line with what I was looking for. At which point I had tried different types of bows but this one was designed with woman in mind, I was so excited for the opportunity to “grow with my bow”. It didn’t take long to make the decision to purchase, even prior to purchase I was able to shoot the bow and get feedback on what I needed to do to be more technically sound. After more discussion, both Dalton and Julie were able to recommend a thumb release. I was excited and able to try the thumb release. I can’t express how grateful I was to not only have a great customer experience but to work with people who are passionate about archery and teaching the skill. When I returned to get my bow ready they were knowledgeable and worked one on one with me to make sure I was ready to hit the range. I highly recommend Better Outdoors to anyone whose a first time archer or looking to get into the sport. They provide advice for both the beginner archer and the advanced archer. My boyfriend and I went together and he’s a much more advanced archer. They provided the same level of knowledge and advice to both of us. We left Better Outdoors not only better archers but with a better understanding on ways to improve our shots. The range is a great place to practice and it’s indoors. It’s nice to have real-time advice and information on what works best for you.

Here’s the deal, this is the best bow shop I’ve ever seen. Jeff and Dalton are on the cutting edge of where archery shops are headed, which is a customer service oriented model. I’m a pretty good bow wrench and they are miles ahead of me. They will solve any issues you have and they’ll be humble while they do it. It takes time to do what they do. So if you’re a patient type, and you want your bow tuned right look no further.

I bought my bow at Better Outdoors, along with my wife's. Dalton had our bows shooting lights out in no time. He went above and beyond on the tune. I've never had a bow shoot that good. I've never seen any other shop offer the tuning setup and one on one setup and time taken to make sure the bow is 100% before it goes out the door. He worked with me on my shooting form of which I thought was pretty good but with some work my shooting improved tremendously. For years I shot a 27 inch draw and with work and shooting form with dalton found out that I needed to be a 28. So with me now shooting the right draw and the right form my shooting has improved. It's not only buying the bow and setup from him that takes me back every time, it's the full customer service and one on one work. Quality over quantity I feel like.

Hadn't touched a bow in 3yrs due to medical issues, bought a bow offline used, and well Dalton took great care in getting my bow/and me set up right, not a pushy salesmen and extremely helpful. Had one of my ole trusty arrows explode while sighting my bow in he made sure I got the right arrow's and cut to fit for my bow and my draw. Cant say enough good things. My first time there and it is worth the hour drive one way- I will be back.

Dalton is as professional is as it gets. The shop does amazing work this will be my go to shop for everything. Dalton knows what he is doing he is not pushy at all very professional and he knows his stuff this definitely is one of the best shops in America hands down you will not be disappointed with anything they do

I had a great experience with them.they didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need just help me with what I asked for and also coached me a bit.they are about to sell me a new mathews not because they pushed it on me but because they were so nice and understanding.only place ill ever go to again

This is by far the best archery store in Arkansas!! Dalton stays up to date with all the latest technology in archery and makes sure he does everything he can to get your bow set up and ready to go for hunting season, bow fishing, or my favorite... target and competition. He does it all!!! And his proves are amazing!!! I will always use Better Outdoors for all of my archery needs!!!!

Unfortunately its rare these days to get great service from knowledgeable staff. However this impressive little archery shop in Lepanto Arkansas delivers on both!

All can say is wow... These guys are amazing. The customer service is out of this world and you won't get treated any better anywhere else..
