Dreamland Vacation Resort

The owner Rosalie was fantastic! The Hillside Castle was beautiful and fun. The hot tub was wonderfully lit, perfect for a nighttime dip. Rosalie made sure we had everything we needed including toiletries. I recommend some stargazing on the rooftop by the fire. One side note the 15 head shower/jacuzzi is not going to be for anyone with mobility issues. Very deep and a little scary to climb in. Otherwise we loved it!

Lovely property with friendly goats and a donkey. We enjoyed paddle boating around the pond. There are many amenities to be enjoyed here. Rosalie is an excellent host with many great recommendations for things to do in the area! It was a very memorable trip!

The views of the stars And moon from the rooftop , yard, or hot tub are so amazing!! The serenity, peace, and relaxation are beyond what words can explain. I wish i could give our stay and experience 10 stars!! It was all amazing, every aspect of our stay was absolutely incredible!!! Our host Ms. Rosie and her Dreamland Vacation Resort were just what we needed!!

A few of us went to ride the beautiful Talimena trail. Expecting to spend the entire time riding motorcycles with our friends. We checked in with Rosalie and noticed that she was very friendly and open to bikers. It turned out that we had just as much fun while we were at the cabins as we did riding. All in all an excellent weekend in an excellent facility with a great hostess. We definitely will do it again.

Property is beautiful and Rosie is amazing.
The area around this is Dry Area (meaning you can’t buy alcohol) so if you plan to drink buy it in an area that sells alcohol. Locals are very polite as long as you are polite. She has paddleboards, Archery, a Sauna, Hot Tub, Luxury Shower, and even a Castle.
Definitely worth the stay.
Bring your friends/ Family for the best time.

The Hillside Castle was my lodging for the weekend. The host is amazing. She is the sweetest person to meet and talk with.
Prompt responses from her when we needed.
She gives details upon arrival to the location. There are several lodging options to choose. The area is quiet and peaceful. The views are amazing!

Had a good vacation stay here. Plenty of options in the guest house... sauna room, multiple charcoal and gas grills in the picnic area, private lake, boating, fishing, kayaking, hot tub... long list .....
will definitely visit again and stay more days...

What a great time my grandchildren and great grandchildren had for Easter break. They have come here before and were so glad their kids got to enjoy it. Just love being here come your family wil make memories. Thank you Rosie for all you do to make their trip so special.

So much to say about this place! The best hostess, friendly farm animals, paddle boats and pond fountains. Each place to stay is amazing, especially Noah's ark with the cute animals, hot tub, archery, and board games! Feels like staying at a friend's farm and still chose enough to run into town when needed.

My daughter chose Dreamland Vacation Resort as a last-minute trip for her 18th birthday celebration with her friends. She wanted some time away in a quiet outdoorsy environment. When she discovered the themed property, it caught her eye.

We arrive late in the evening as we were coming off of a full day of work for myself and school for my daughter and her friends. We were also concerned about the possibility of severe weather forecasted in our area(DFW, TX). Mrs. Rosie stayed in contact with me through messaging on the Airbnb website, and kept me abreast of local weather. She also made me aware of local attractions that would be available to us when we arrived. She stayed up to greet us when we arrived (after 10 p.m.)

Upon arrival she had the heat on the wood stoves burning to make our cabin toasty and warm. There were towels, household supplies and amenities available for our ease and comfort. Back to Africa is a unique design that encompasses four cabins (or sleep areas), two toilets, and two shower areas, and a common kitchen. Although it is a completely enclosed& it's designed to reflect and outdoor environment.
Because the weather had been particularly cold she offered to upgrade us, but all was well and there was no need to upgrade. The beds were very comfortable well-appointed with plenty of pillows. The shower and bathroom and kitchen had all the needed supplies, just like home.

On the second day of our stay Mrs. Rosie escorted me around on a complete tour of the property. She shared the history of the property which was originally a vision of her husband (who has passed on). A few years following his death she took it upon herself to complete the vision fulfilling the promise she made to him. Adding new elements of themed cabins created an additional flair. One of the standout of the cabins are the beautifully painted murals on the walls that represent the themes.

The property also have animals a buffalo named Buffy, a goat believe her name is Carly and I don't remember the dear donkey's name. We had the opportunity to hand feed them. There are canoes, a paddle boat and fishing supplies for the water activity enthusiast. There were also some bikes available that one of our guys had to give a little bit of an assist to get them up and rolling, which worked out famously.

Our tour concluded at Catfish-Rosewood Manor; which I like to think of as the healing/spa cabin of the resort. It features 3 bedrooms, laundry facilities full kitchen. There is a therapy pool, sauna, hot tub, deck for fishing or entertaining, and facilities for barbecuing and cooking right off the deck area.

There is additional sleeping in the therapy pool room area (with laundry facilities and a shower), and in a room off the deck area. However, the best thing about this cabin is that it is fully accessible; allowing access to a lovely outdoor experience for those who may be limited by mobility

Mrs. Rosie is the most gracious and generous woman; very kind very loving. You could not find I a more genuine and reliable individual. Every request I had, she went out of her way to meet it (within her ability) and her attentiveness made us feel very welcomed.

Great place to stay and relax on the country side. They have paddle boating, boating, fishing hiking and many other things to do on the property. Also has a hot tub great way to relax.

Rustic location with all the amenities for a great price. Rosie is a fabulous host and even better you can bring your dog!!!
