Mount Emily Recreation Area

Some snow on the shaded back areas of pebbles but up Ridgeline was free from snow last week. Still wore just low hikers but could have put on my higher hikers and trax for pebbles.

Very well maintained. The short hikes at the base of the mountain are great for kids, have information pamphlets for them.

This is a great hike! The trails would also be great for mountain biking. There is an actual mountain bike track area next to the trails. I did the Mera trail. It was about 8.8 miles out and back. There are some beautiful views of the valley. The trail winds through thick trees. There are a few creeks with little bridges to cross. All and all it was an awesome hike. I packed a cooler and had a meal at the end before heading back to the Tri-Cities. Great place for a family get away.

Absolutely love this place. Great trails, the horses love it. It's a good get away without having to travel very far. Friendly people too.

Great views and fun trails. Jeep, atv, sxs, mtb and dirt bike. Whatever you ride or drive, there’s a trail for you. We followed mainline to the look out, then took Mt. Emily road down the backside. There’s a connector trail that brings you back up and around. (422 I think...there’s a map at the bottom of Mt Emily road).

There are a couple Staging areas, large enough for trailers and some camping spots as well. Beginner kids track helps the littles practice cornering. Awesome place!

Love it up there. It's beautiful and trails are super well maintained trails for both hiking and 4 wheelers/dirt bikes.

Great trails that are well maintained

So many trails! I can't believe I've lived here my while life and didn't know this was here! The goldfish pond is an amazing surprise on your journey! It's emerald green and beautiful! There are bike trails, hiking trails and there are tons of them, all varieties. A family favorite now, especially during corona virus. A safe place to bring the family to get out of the house.

Really a nice area.... When it is not covered in snow! I hiked up there a few times, it really is a great place to have that outdoor experience you expect.

You can camp for free here with a tent for 14 days at the Fox Hill campground, however I wouldn't attempt to drive a RV up the really steep hill. 17 percent up hill grade. Your RV will not make it.

Besides it is a motor free campground with no hook ups. There are fire rings and picnic tables.

Great place to hike! We took your MERA loop. The hike had everything you want in a forest hike ; flowers , trees , river and a lizard . Loved it.

Gorgeous place with miles of trails to explore. Hike, bike, ride... Whatever you do, it seems you could do it here!

This place is awesome. The mountain bike trail is well worth the trip. I highly recommend! DO IT!

We love exploring the trails up MERA! My son loves hiking to the frog pond! Everyone that we have come across has been very nice and respectful. The mountain bikers are awesome to watch, too!

Great trails for mountain biking or hiking! Lots of 4 legged friends walking their humans about clean restrooms. Beautiful views of the Grande ronde valley.

Close to town, good hiking trails shared with bikes and horses. Easy access. Tables and pit toilet at the trail head.

Great place to stop for a bike ride. Very nice trail building, quite intuitive riding straight away. Maybe some signs before drops or jumps could improve it as well as having same trail names on trailsforks as on signposting ;)

Awesome place, a lot to explore! Great MTB trails and great hiking trails. Have been going up here for about 10 years and a lot has changed/developed in that time.
