Slim Chickens

Ran across this place in my worldly travels and decided to give it a whirl. You walk in the door and the counter is not far ahead. I was greeted immediately and asked about a recommendation of which I took them up on. The prices are reasonable and the food was piping hot! I ordered the chicken club sandwich and fries with a Barq's Root beer. This sandwich was great, fresh leafy green lettuce, tomatoe and mayo with cheese, crispy chicken, this won't disappoint. A neat atmosphere with blues music playing in the background, awesome twist on fast food. If your in the area stop by and give this place a try, 2 thumbs up!

Great place for wings and tenders. Had the chicken and waffles. They were great. A good variety of coatings and sauces: sweet, spicy, savory, or plain. The fried pickles are extra salty.

The buffalo chicken wrap is scrumdiddlyumpsous! Whether fried or grilled, it's a winner! Add to that service that's fast, fun and friendly, and this location will be one you'll frequent!

Read some issues about the employees and operational issues. That’s very true. I stumbled into this place on the road. Menu didn’t work so cashier asked me what I wanted. No idea if they had anything else

I got the chix filet type sandwich and it was great. Served hot with plenty of fries. Chocolate shake was fine.

We tried this just for something different. We were pleasantly surprised it was very good. The service was patient with us. The restaurant was clean as well as the staff was dressed well.

Love this slims location! Everything is always so great and the employees are awesome! Miguel and Michelle are the nicest employees.

Had the strawberry chicken salad with raspberry vinegrette! It was really good! Highly Recommend this dish! You can get a wrap if you want as well! Staff was super friendly at the drive through!

The drive through line might be long but they know how to move you through quickly. The staff working the window is always so friendly and sweet.
The chicken wrap is one of my favorites!

2 months ago...I am updating my review from my visit today. Rude doesn't even begin to describe the manager and cashier on duty. The manager was yelling at a customer about him being rude, disturbing the entire restaurant. While we were placing our order the cashier was rolling her eyes and yelling at the kitchen. Completely inappropriate.

It was ok, this place has a high turnover rate, seems like everytime we go in there, they have new employees.
We had 1 order with cold chicken, hot fries & 1 with hot chicken & cold fries....

Stopped for lunch with a group of teenagers. Slims was so fast getting the food out that we were back on the bus in less than 45 minutes! And the food was good!

I love Slim Chickens. They have a unique breading.

First time ever! The tenders were moist not over cooked and the buffalo sauce topped the wings. The sweet tea was a little too sweet for me so I just added some unsweetened to it. The staff made suggestions and was pleasant. It was during the rush and they kept the tables clean and the floors swept. Didn’t know kids eat free on Sunday that’s something to remember.

Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had! The chicken & waffles was amazing! The staff was so friendly, & Lamon & Paige went above & beyond when they fixed a slight mix up with my order! This place definitely helped my night go from good to great real quick :)

We really enjoyed our meal at Slim Chickens!! Great chicken strips season just right. Great food, good service, great price, and tea was awesome. What more could we ask. Oh yeah, we got senior discounts! Love this place.
