Carlton & Coast Tavern

What an amazing Tavern! In the middle of wine country sits the most amazing place for family and friends. Atmosphere, hospitality, tap selection and unique custom steam punk style. We are gonna make this a frequent hang out. Thanks Carlton & Coast Tavern what a great place.

We stopped by on a Monday on our way back from a long weekend at the coast. Before our group left, we were already figuring out what future outings could be decided to incorporate a stop by Carlton again so that we could revisit. Excellent and creative taplist with something for everyone. The food is fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. You must get the epically, almost comically large pretzel to share. All artistic touches (including the intricate tile work) was done by the family. Even if this wasn't a beer drinkers' oasis in the middle of wine country, it's definitely worth a visit.

Helvetia Cider, Double Bacon and Black and Blue burger... the most badass and steampunk wall of 38 taps offering beer, wine, cider... all things awesome. Cocktails made from local spirits. They're doing it right... every single time. Don't be in a hurry here.... just sit, sip and savor.

Great place for a huge beer selection, friendly bartender, atmosphere, outdoor seating (by the sidewalk), and their INSANELY AMAZING pretzel!! I have never been a pretzel guy, but this is so good! I think they deep-fry the gigantic thing! I will go out of my way for it again!

Such a wonderful spot, great service and they know how to make a proper cocktail. HUGE beer list and fun food menu... this is a must stop if you're thirsty and need a snack in Carlton!

Great tap selection and atmosphere! Nice and relaxed feel. Fewer options if you're vegetarian but we just combined the hummus plate and pretzel to make it work. The pretzel is very tasty too!! Highly recommend it with your favorite beer 🙂

The Carlton and Coast Tavern is an awesome place with a great selection of liquor, and every craft beer a hipster could dream of. Carlton and Coast also has a pool table, and slot machines. Their staff is talented, friendly, and professional. The owners only want the best for any town that they have businesses in (pay Elena's Wine Bar a visit as well). Be sure to check out Carlton and Coast Tavern, you will not regret it.

My parents and I met here this weekend as a fun day trip getaway. Had never been to Carlton before and had a great day seeing the town. We decided to have lunch at Carlton & Coast and are so glad we did. The food was great, as well as the drinks. We stayed for an hour or so and were able to play music, and socialize in this great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back here and bringing friends.

Great, attentive bar tenders. Open during C-19. Cash only at the time we visited and they do have an ATM. The cider was great and the giant pretzel is a MUST. Crisp on the outside and soft on the outside- obviously made on-site. LOVED IT !

AWESOME atmosphere! Bartenders and cooks are so friendly, they treat you like family! Food was spectacular and the drinks perfect!

The owners of this place are amazing people who converted a dive bar into a steam punk themed mid scale bar and restaraunt.

Even though way out in Carlton this place gets packed on the weekends as they have great live music on Fridays and amazing karaoke on Saturdays. They only hire happy positive purple and do community events like art classes...there is nothing to not love here

Love the friendly service here. The food is great and it has a sweet little hometown feel. It's one of my new favorite spots to grab a bite to eat and a good beer on tap.

We found this restaurant after a long day of running in the Oregon Wine Country! It was an oasis - quick and very friendly service with extra yummy food, clean bathrooms, cool and relaxed interior - the perfect spot for an early dinner! I’m sure it gets really busy later in the evenings so we were super happy to get our food sooooo fast!!! Thanks for a great meal!
