This is a wine tasting station, but that with said Ken Wright has some phenomenal wines to taste. The atmosphere is perfect for tasting and the staff are extremely well knowledgeable about Ken Wright, his vineyards, the wine and processes. Will definitely return here in the future!

Ken Wright transformed the old Carlton Train Station into a warm and inviting tasting room . Great choice of wines

I’ve had their wine before and had to make a stop on our way through Oregon. You don’t get the vineyard atmosphere here but the wine and the personable staff make up for it. Maria was our server and she made the experience special for us. She knew all about the wines, vineyards they’re grown on and the history of Ken and the winery itself. All of the wines we sampled were great and the olives and almonds were a perfect pairing. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and even cornhole for those who want to hang out and play a game or two while enjoying a glass of wine. Limited parking in front but there’s sufficient street parking close by.

Winner of Wine Spectator's wine of the year in 2014, the quality is still going strong.

Great tasting experience in a beautiful converted train station. All outside tables have fire pits. This is a great place to enjoy great wine.

Staff are very friendly. Easy to have an interesting conversation.

Really loved the 2021 Bonnie Jean. A top Pinot.

Fantastic wine. Pinot noir is our favorite, and they have quite an assortment. Maria was a wonderful hostess for our tasting.

Great year round patio with fire pits in the heart of Carlton. Chill atmosphere to enjoy the small town pace while enjoying amazing pinots.

An incredible experience. The Chardonnay was crisp, fruity and satisfying. The Pinots are full bodied and well balanced. The Syrah was amazing, bought a bottle to enjoy tonight. Have never had a more passionate tour guide for the elevated wine experience. J'Amiee was memorable!

I sent an email on an off chance, seeing if there was a possibility of tagging along on a tour while my wife and I were on our honeymoon not expecting much due to the late notice...

But J'Aime went above and beyond to give us such an incredible experience and private tour of the winery. We were able to visit the immaculate vineyards, sample wines, learn about the history of the winery and local terroir, and even got to meet the legend himself who was just the kindest. We greatly appreciated Ken and J'Aime for giving their time to make part of our honeymoon so very special.

If you are thinking about visiting any winery in Willamette this is the place to be. True perfection of craft starting in the vineyards with a dedication to knowing the local terroir. Every wine here was stellar as always, but of course the Pinots are the true beauties.

10/10, 5 stars, standing ovation. So much love from us!

I have been a wine club member for a couple of years now and I highly recommend visiting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wines are fairly priced. They produce several single vineyard wines and always have at least a couple on the monthly tasting menu.

Great wines and a wonderful tasting room in downtown. A great staff that know the wine they're pouring and will take the moment to answer any questions I might have on the wine. The outdoor patio with the lawn and all the landscaping makes it feel like you're a bit more secluded than a tasting room on the corner of Main st in downtown. A really warm atmosphere to enjoy some wonderful single vineyard wines with friends.

Really enjoyed our visit and tasting at Ken Wright Cellars. Seated at an outdoor table in the garden/patio area on a perfect day, everything was spot on. Our host, Maria, was new to the area and to her post at the facility. Her product knowledge, her presentations, and her excitement for what she was doing was SO refreshing. Having been in the industry for many years it was truly a treat to see someone embrace their position with such energy, enthusiasm, and vigor. We traveled through the Willamette Valley, Anderson Valley, Sonoma Coastal area, and the Central Coast (CA) visiting numerous wineries. Must say, our host, Maria, at Ken Wright Cellars made the most enjoyable and lasting impression. Their wines are excellent examples of the Northern Willamette Valley. Highly Recommended...and many thanks!

Sydney was our wine educator & she made us feel cozy & comfortable in this beautifully remodeled train depot. She poured us 5 fabulous wines, 2021 & 2022 vintages of Chardonnay & Pinot Noir. Sydney informed us on where these grapes were grown & how they reached the peak richness.
Don’t leave without a bottle of 2022 Willamette Valley Chardonnay and a bottle of their 2021 Savoya Vineyard Pinot Noir.
Ken Wright is a master at wine making!
We joined the club so we could bring these delightful wines to Wisconsin.

We had a fabulous time in Williamette Valley, and our visit to the Ken Wright tasting room was fantastic! The wine was delicious! Our server Maria went above and beyond! And we even met Ken himself! This tasting room is a 'not to miss' experience in Carlton! You will not be disappointed.

I've been wanting to visit Ken Wright for a couple years now and finally experienced a tasting today. Every offering was fantastic and Maria provided us a great experience. I appreciate the level of information she gave alongside other facts about each pour that you don't typically hear about when visiting other wineries. Thanks for a great afternoon!

I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting your cellar and winery, but I live in Tokyo and absolutely love your Pinot Noir 2020 (amazing silky mouthfeel), which I am using for my ISG IWC tasting notes. Such a gorgeous wine!

Pretty and airy tasting room with lots of outdoor space for enjoying these wines. Tastings are $20 p/p with complimentary nuts 🥜 Also some fun hand made jewelry. Pouring single vineyard pinot noirs - but don’t miss the Celilo Chardonnay.

Tasting room staff very knowledgeable and pleasant.
