River Valley Feed & Metal

This is as close to a Home Depot or Lowes that Mansfield has and as such River Valley Feed & Metal holds its own. Staff greets you upon entrance yet knows enough to offer help once then leave you to do your shopping until you ask for help, this is a welcome virtue the franchises should master. Selection though limited due to space and practicality is varied enough to easily tackle any job be it residential, rural, commercial. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and uninvasive.

They are always adding more things and it kinda reminds me of an General Store that I grew up with. People are friendly.

Great place to get what you need!!

I called shortly before the big snow storm a few weeks ago, asking about mulch for my garlic. A gentleman (I'm assuming the owner) told me about the selection he had, the prices, and which ones he felt would be best for the job. I took his advice and bought a few bags of cypress mulch. The prices are great and the customer service is wonderful. My garlic survived the negative temperatures and is doing beautifully! I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

I have practically built my house out of this place. Friendly people and always ready to help. Sometimes I have to order but only takes two days to get it. Price is lower than most big box stores. Enjoy the people.

I personally love this place. It's the close. The prices are reasonable. They have a pretty good selection of must haves.... light bulbs, nuts, bolts, screws, nails, chain by the inch, pest control, pet supplies, paint in several colors, plumbing and much much more.

Can't say enough about their customer service! I order a lot of metal from them and they're always very helpful and bend over backwards to make sure everything is right. I wish every business operated like they do!

Wow, this is a super store! After moving to Western Arkansas, I was concerned about always having to drive to Greenwood or Arkansas to meet our farm's needs. Yes, the customer service is way better than the chain stores, but I check prices often, and almost always, River Valley has the same or better pricing than the brand name stores. If there's something you need and can't find it in the store, you need to ask to see if they can get it, because they often can. They also have bulk supplies in their warehouse barn. I have been shopping here two years now, and am so grateful for their help and knowledge. It's nice to have this place out in the country. As a full time farmer, they have earned my business.

There are some real knowledgeable people there. The rest will go find the answers. Just moved here and LOVE this place. Our go to for everything related to setting up our new home.

This is more than a feed store. They carry everything from nuts and bolts, to plumbing, to selling complete metal buildings, and the staff is a good bunch of guys. I highly recommend this business.
