Very fresh and yummie sashimi and tempura sushi rolls. The tempura rolls are called Super Tempura. They made tempura right after you order it so the texture is way better than the already prepared ones. Thanks for the cute orange :)

Sushi J Restaurant & Bar in downtown Dallas opens at 11 AM Monday -- Sunday and closes at 9 PM. They have many delicious choices on their Menu now with a new Specials Menu and pictures of 🍣 rolls like the new roll from the menu Blackened Tuna that makes you wanna to try them all. Sushi J welcomes you with a bright and colorful dinning room atmosphere highlighted with orange booths and a specially designed orange treat you don't forget. The color orange was named after the fruit and radiates warmth and energy so while eating here you feel happy and healthy. Be good humans!! 💙

Quiet, clean little restaurant.
The owner is very pleasant and checks on you personally.
The chowmein and teriyaki chicken are fabulous and generously portioned-i always take some home.
Ask for Ty's special Gyoza (pork dumplings) they are amazing!
This is a great place to bring the whole family, our girls love the miso soup and rice. Our 2 year old daughter thought it was her birthday when they gave us an orange cleverly carved to look like a panda.
This place is definitely on our list of favorites!

The restaurant is clean and has fun and colorful decor. The food was delicious and fresh and was very well priced. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. If you like sushi, I would highly recommend Sushi J.

Delicious! The the sushi is good, the rice is great, and the service is excellent. This place has all the markers of a good neighborhood family restaurant. They really take good care of you the moment you step in the door. I'll definitely be coming back!

Terrific sushi. One of my fav places to eat in town. Service is always friendly and attentive. Try the Avocado Bomb and the Dynamite Roll!

I tried this wonderful new restaurant last night with my boyfriend and some friends. All I can say is, that was the best sushi I've ever had!!! It was so good. The presentation was on point and very impressive. The service was excellent and very accommodating.
I'm going to become a regular customer.
We tried a variety of rolls. My boyfriend and I had the Yummy Crunch and the Sunshine. They were delicious. My favorite was the Sunshine. We also tried the 911. That was yummy too. With a little kick.

Try this wonderful restaurant y'all. You won't be disappointed. Very very highly recommend.

We just ordered for our first time and got 3 different rolls-No Name, Dynamite and Super Cali! I wished I got pictures but we ate it too fast, they were so delicious! We will definitely be back for more and I'm sure, weekly!!

The best sushi in Dallas and definitely the best I've been to here in Oregon. The staff was very friendly and nice. We can't wait to go back. This is a must stop. It's beyond amazing. The fish was also fresh like just out of the ocean. So good!

The sushi is really good! Not too expensive. One of the servers was so friendly to our 1 year old son. She was talking to him each time she went by and he was talking back and waving at her. We had a nice dinner.

My friend and I have been coming here for quite a long time! We have never been disappointed!!! The food here is AMAZING!!!! It’s fun to see what special treat the sushi chef will come up with next. If you love super fresh sushi, you MUST come try this place! The server Cindy is very sweet and the owner is as wonderful as they come! We feel like family every time we come in!

Sushi was delicious! Service was above fantastic. Ordered edamame and they were out and instead of just saying “we’re out” they surprised us with a separate appetizer at no charge. Food was fresh and delicious and the sushi was beautiful.

Finally a local sushi restaurant that knows how to make it right. Fresh made just for you... not delivered to your table on a conveyor belt. Today I had the lunch special with a California and Philly roll - it was delicious!! I’ll definitely be bringing the family back for dinner as they are also very reasonably priced.

These people work extremely hard to provide a good experience for their patrons. The food has always been delicious and very fairly priced to boot. This Sushi restaurant may have an unexpected location but they will not disappoint if you give them a chance.

What can I say about this place? The owners are really nice and the food is truly good. I won't lie I am a sushi snob, but when my SO and I went in here and gave it a try, we were pretty impressed at how fresh it was. The owners even came out and gave us coupons for our next visit and gave us a 10% discount when we paid our tab. As if that wasn't enough they even brought us out some freshly made soba to try that they were as a family having for dinner and decided to put it on the specials board, and it was DELICIOUS. You can't get that kind of genuine service hardly ANYWHERE and this was our first time walking in there so it wasn't even like we were regulars. Well you better believe we will be regulars now, because we don't have to drive all the way to Salem for decent sushi, which is really nice and I certainly would encourage people to support a business that goes above and beyond like they did.

Super friendly staff, good food, and decent prices come together in a trifecta of worth it dining. Who knew, good sushi in a small town like Dallas Oregon. If you like sushi, this place rivals some in the Portland metro, so give it a try and see what you think.

Sushi J's food is always the best. Lee is more then friendly and does his best to get you your foot quickly. The customer service is always the best. Small shop in a small town. Would really hate if he went outta business. Stop in and give it a try so we can keep him here.
