The parking lot is owned by the museum so you can pay for museum admission and also have a cool place to chill and explore after walking Old Town in the hot sun. The museum has lockers inside where you can keep items out of the hot car (such as the New Mexican chocolate we just bought). The museum also has nice restrooms as well. If you don’t want to use the museum then you can try to figure out the weird analog payment slot box thing they have. We opted for the museum option as it allows in and out all day and parking all day.
The museum also offered a free 1 hr walking tour of Old Town ABQ at 11am on the day we were there. So, we got parking and so much more.

This museum parking is the most convenient in Old Town. It's also free with museum admission!

Newly repainted spots . Freshened and easier to read.

Convenient parking right next to this fabulous mosaic tile entrance. Not much shade but the Old Town Campus does have trees and shaded areas. Parking is by space and when we visited it was on the honor system.
Every time we come we want to stop and visit Old Town, and every time we face parking issues. Happy to have found this close in lot.
