Riverside Dog Park

This was the first dog park our puppy Great Dane has went too. She had a blast. The other dogs were great. The park is beautiful.

Love this place. It's not only a dog park but it has a playground, covered picnic area, bathrooms and a little trail.

Stopped at this dog park on our way through La Grande Oregon, and have to say it was a wonderful experience. 17 dogs in the park, and all were well behaved and very friendly. The people were very inviting as well. This is definitely a place I will stop back again.

It's a beautiful place to sit under a tree and have a picnic, watching nature listening to the river and hearing families having fun together. Also the pavilion is nice to rent for any type of get together.

Picked this park as a place to hand over my foster dog to his new family. Im from Idaho and have never been here before and was very much pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and well kept this park is! My foster and my personal pup loved the dog area, lots to sniff and run zoomies in!

Such a cute park it was great for my was. 5yr old and my 1.5yr. They even had an old school section.

Nice big open field for games and activities,
Huge playground for kids, fenced in area for dogs (large dog and small dog sections are separated for your convenience) and last but not least; it has a quiet little beach next to the river when the water is low enough.

Well-kempt dog park with big and small dog areas. Owners need to do better picking up after their dog. But, with a hose fountain and dog bowl supplied, it makes it easier to keep the dog hydrated while playing. Multiple dog bag stations available for clean up. Great scenery and great park. 5 stars.

Fantastic huge playground, covered area with potential kitchen for events, really tall swings, volleyball, horseshoes, water access for playing down by the river if you're so inclined, and a fully enclosed Dog Park area.
Lived here for 14 years, and it's definitely our favorite Park.

A friend of mine was in from Arizona and we went there for a picnic!! It's such a beautiful place with lots of picnic tables,kids playyard and trails for dog walking. Also has a creek. Lots of beautiful trees for shade and a huge shelter for picnics! A great place to relax!!

Full disclosure, I'm not much of a "pet person". My wife has two dogs (I have none). For light exercise and sometimes, just to have an excuse to spend time with my wife I will assume the people end of a leash.

The dog park at Riverside is a nice place to turn her four legged friends loose for little while. Her older sheltie isn't able to do much more than wander the perimeter but it's a rare opportunity for her younger pomeranian to learn how to dog. He hasn't figured out how to fetch yet but exposure to healthy canines who are able to do more than eat, sleep, and pollute my backyard is clearly good for him. To him, the fully fenced area with double gated access is as much playground and university as sanctuary. Best of all, our visits make my wife happy.

It's nice to live in a community where leisure (park, dog park, greenway, etc.) and public spaces haven't been complete victims of stagnating budgets.

Awesome dog park. I am out of state but I stop here often. The people that come here are very friendly. Well maintained and not a lot of mud pools.

My pup learned to swim here. I especially like how the big dog run and small dog run are separated but still share a fence so dogs can be introduced safely.

Great dog park! Two size areas, water, green grass and a good amount of fully fenced space.

So cool that they have areas for big active dogs and small or slower moving dogs. Easy cleanup with baggie stations and water access inside the secure areas!!

Went for a picnic after daughter's graduation from E. O. U. Great park. Was able to take some nice pictures. Playground was quite large, the grandkids had a blast.

Good times! Readily accessible water, and separate areas for big and small dogs. I'm happy La Grande has this for us all to use.

A lot of room to run , there is a big shade tree, and a community water bowl. There is also a smaller section for smaller or less active dogs.

A beautiful dog park! The small dog space is a little oddly spaced (narrow) but the big dog side is super spacious and beautiful!
