Riverside Park

Such a cool park, lots of art, music, and really cool playground equipment. My kids loved it. Beautiful walking trail.

Passing through, tried this little gem of a park! So great! Fun interactive climbing toys and swings for all ages. Lots of grass areas. Great pavilion for gatherings. Bathrooms were closed, clean portables provided.

A wonderfully maintained Leathers & Assoc playground in a nice quiet spot in town. Super fun to explore. Smaller playground for the smaller kids was neat but super hot in the sun. Nice restrooms and picnic area. Found some shade to park in and have a tailgate lunch.

Great for all the kids no matter what ages. The play structure provided hours of fun while the tire swing occupied other kids' attention. For older folks there is a Volleyball court and if you just have a dog (or two) there is a play park for them. A wonderful family park.

The fondest memories I have about Riverside was when the Lighthouse Church would host a potluck during the summer time when I was a kid; and also the Lighthouse School used to host an end of the school picnic there.
I remembered the pond used to be there where my brother, my sister, and I would catch snails; also I still remember the incident when I was 11 years old during 4th of July I saw a garter 🐍 slithering by, when I held it, it bit my fifth knuckle, and I was scared 😳, and dropped it: it slithered underneath the cement slab, and my brother and I tried to lift it to get the 🐍, but 🤷 we couldn't do it because we were runts at the time.

Kids (3-8 yrs old) had a blast. Lots to do. Definitely recommend this park

Very nice park, great playground, riverside access seems very popular with the locals. We let our kids play in the river as well. They have a volleyball court, horseshoe pits and more.

Great community park with nice amenities and play areas. Dog friendly (in fact, there is a dedicated dog park right next to it) and a decent amount of parking (fills up quickly though at big events).

Food preparation area is nice, and lots of covered seating.

It's the best park in town. Big and open all around with a huge kitchen and covered area to have all sorts of parties or get togethers . Play ground itself is huge and lots of stuff for all ages of kids . Mini golf right next to it is amazing as well . 18 holes for the family to enjoy a good time

This is a large park with lots of grassy space, a huge playground castle, tire swings, regular swings (big enough for adults), little kid playground, a massive pavilion, separate picnic table areas, public bathrooms, and a fenced off area for dogs.

Parks has many activities to enjoy. Horse shoe toss, dog park one for big dogs and one for small dogs, 2 play parks for kids of all ages. Volleyball net and grain cort. Park has a river to swim in to bet the heat. Grills for BBQ.

We stopped here on a road trip to let the kids play. It was a Sunday during COVID and the park was fairly empty but clean and well kept. The bathrooms were closed due to COVID. This is a great park though with lots for even very little kids to do. Lots of sensory items like music notes.

Great playground, dog park, picnic tables, a huge covered area, and a walking path along the river. It's our favorite place to stop on a trip through La Grande.

Very beautiful park. I swam here with my football team, and I'd like to again! If you dont like water snakes though, you may not like the areas near water, but they don't seem to be venomous.

I loved it. It was a happy time. The fenced dog park was awesome. There were lots of big trees. The kids were playing at the play ground. The grass was green every where. 10/10.

One of the best if not the best park in La Grande. Lots of grass, a structure for picnics or group gatherings. Huge play area for kids my daughter loves this place.
