It is peak construction season, so hard to get a contractor on short notice. Chris and Jason, from Better Homes Construction came out the next day for a small job, that became a big job! Zach and his team (Cory, Tanner, Mitch) did a fantastic job. Better Homes Construction delivered professional, affordable and high quality results. I hired Zach and his team to remodel a new rental property. Phase one of this project included replacing the roof, reinforcing the basement structure, remodeling the bathroom, and partially remodeling the kitchen. I hired the plumber and electrician separately however after working with Zach wished I had let them manage the entire project because of the excellent job they did and the expert advise they provided. The cost of the project was more than reasonable and the work was exceptional quality. He and his team are talented in many aspects of the construction trade. They are professional and courteous, yet personable - not a combination easily found in the construction trade. Zach is always willing to share tips and helpful advise on the project and beyond the scope of what they are doing. He is well connected in the community and produces beautiful work. Looking forward to the second phase in the near future.

Better Homes Construction replaced our roof and did a great job. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. Our roof was not easy to replace and they all had great attitudes the entire time. They take pride in their work and it shows, our roof looks amazing! I highly recommend hiring them. We will be referring friends and family!

Zach and his guys at Better Homes Construction have done several small and medium sized jobs at two of our houses. They’ve re-finished hardwood floors, tiled a bathroom and large kitchen backsplash, put up shiplap around a giant double fireplace, installed new corner boards on the outside of our house and installed windows/exterior doors and trim. We plan on hiring Better Homes Construction for another bathroom remodel this winter. Zach has always been communicative and fair. Zach goes out of his way to create the exact look you’re wanting. He is punctual with bringing samples and quotes. His team has always done a great job and they never leave a job unless you are 100% satisfied.

Zach and his team installed a vynil fence around my backyard. They were all professional, quick, and friendly. Zach explained the process and timeline when I had questions. What I most appreciate was his crew taking down a small tree in the way and hauling it off when I asked them. In addition, when the supplier failed to provide all materials to finish the project, Zach offered to drive to Walla Walla to pick them up that weekend. Any problem that came up along the way (and they were all outside his control) Zach jumped in and took care of it. I will call Better Homes Construction first for my next project.
