Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is nice and attentive. Ice cream is delicious. Prices and portions make it a great value. I wish I lived in the area so I could come here all the time.

I had went to Hwy 55 years ago and it was too expensive. I decided to give it another try. I'm so glad I did! I got the Moose with ff and HOMEMADE lemonade. Every thing was perfect!

I loved everything about everything except the bathroom it was pretty bad otherwise I enjoyed my burger for dinner it was delicious thank God I went to the restroom after I ate otherwise I don't think I could have stayed and ate anything there please fix this issue because I would love to come back but not if the bathroom is still disgusting

The atmosphere dropped because not personally greeted, but all stores are understaffed, and employees must multitask.

Love the service. This is our new ice cream spot. We've been 3 times this week, and it's only Wednesday. You guys rock!

That Hamburger Steak plate was delicious! Don't y'all eat up all the fried pickles 🥒 cause they was even better!!

I’ve been here plenty of times and always had a decent experience but tonight was over the top. The young waitress, Piper, has the best attitude and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter left smiling. From the small talk to the service and personality. She is the definition of an amazing waitress. I hope she never changes her attitude and continues doing what she’s doing. My 10 year old made sure to write her a note telling her thank you and only wants her as a waitress from now on. I can’t put into words how exceptional you are.

Food is always good. Take out is ready on time. Dine in is a pleasant experience with a very nice staff. Friendly/family atmosphere.

Great burger and sandwich joint in Whiteville. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of the menu. I ordered a spicy shrimp salad-not only was it absolutely delicious, but it was HUGE. Clay ordered a cheese pepper steak with mushrooms and onions-loved it too!!
Prices are well Worth it. And the frozen custard tops it all off! I’m a fan of this place BIG TIME!

Lord this place is great. Fast service. Lil fancy waitress is the greatest. Sweet Tea surely is our Southern Sweet Tea. These young teens surely know how to brew it. All very respectful young teens. Great to be in a place were it is all smiles and manners. No matter what ur race is these young teens loves all!!!

Best burger in town hands down.
Had an issue with my order and Cameron the manager was thrilled to correct it. Treated me like a guest in his home not a customer or a number he had to deal with.even the cook came around and apologized for the error. The whole staff was amazing. Wonderful change of pace from the usual hostel glaring reaction you get in a restaraunt when there is a problems.
I'll be back.

I can't say enough good things about this store. It was almost weird how great everything was. Felt like an episode of the twilight zone where there were no problems. Perfect sanitation rating, super polite and friendly crew. The door was held for us as we went in, we were then welcomed by the rest of the crew and they all bid farewell when we left. And OMG the food. Our tab for two was about $16, and every penny was well spent. "The Moose" is now one of my favorite sandwiches. Seriously, such a great experience!

The staff here is always friendly and welcoming, the service is fast and food is delicious. This is a great spot for families, or somewhere just to grab some great custard. The murals always catch my baby's attention and the establishment is kept clean.

Good "comfort" food with great atmosphere. I got the shrimp burger and enjoyed every bite.

Great food, great service. They are on it! The food was hot and fabulous! I was impressed with the way the staff greeted each customer and made sure you had what you wanted or needed without hesitation. Service with a smile!

Great food. Friendly folks.

Took my two football playing teenage grandsons there for lunch. Feeding them is a challenge but they said the food was excellent and filling. They ended with 2 huge milkshakes and left happy. Highway 55 is always a good time.

The place is clean. The staff is so friendly. Love the burger options and the fresh made milkshakes are yummy
