John Brooks Supermarket

This is one of the last great old school grocery stores. Great meat and produce and New Mexico standards. Same personnel for a long time which gives it an almost mom-and-pop feel.

The store was clean and well organized. The employees were so friendly and helpful!

Definitely have to say great prices. and the staff are very friendly. Store was very clean, enjoyed my shopping experience. I definitely will be back.

Have only been there one time and it is a great little supermarket. They have those hard to find or no find items from the bigger supermarkets. Will definitely be shopping here again.

Going in this store is like a Blast from the Past. We got Retro Kids Vending Machines, Retro Kids Toys etc. People are always respectful and nice. They have almost everything you could possibly want when it comes to groceries. They only thing is there vegetable and fruit section seems a bit limited. Either way I love the place and has affordable pricing on their products

Incredible customer service with a pleasant young man named Nicolas. He went above and beyond, was exceptionally nice to me, respectful, and he asked me if I found what I needed, carried my groceries for me to the car. We chatted a little, and I was so impressed with his kindness and his character. I almost asked him if I could adopt him. 😅 Wow! I worked as a CS representative for Human Resources for 15 years, so I well know all about customer service. This young gentleman gets my thumbs up and 5 stars. Thank you Nicolas! Keep up the good work!

I can find almost everything that I need
this store sorta has a mom & pop feel to it
Granted their slitly a bit more pricey but the friendly staff makes up for the difference.
J.B. even carries what I love the most! Beef🥩 Bones🦴
(soup bones) for my homemade bones broth
Pre-Packaged and whole femer bones that you can get them cut into your desired size.

Love this place! It's one of the only markets I know that roasts Green Chile daily after other stop. Excellent quality Chile from Hatch and Socorro, NM.

This is my neighborhood supermarket. I have never had a bad experience to this date. I’ve been going there for a little over two years and that is my go to supermarket. It’s got an old school feel to it, the cashiers are family, and the place is inviting. So, if you want to change your supermarket, give these guys a chance! Thank you John Brooks!

I have not shopped here but I used the restroom and read TAMA's review where that person explains that she can not spell any better than she can drive. She blames this business for her incompetence. So I am rating 5 stars to counter incompetent fools that do not take responsibility.

My family has been going there for years and now me and my family go too. Staff is super friendly an very an helpful an every time I get to go there they always ask for my parents an just over all they are truly amazing. It's great to see people in customer service who actually enjoy it an are so respectful. Nettie is a wonderful lady who goes above and beyond for customers as well as Johnnie an Frankie, an rest of employees. I highly recommend stopping in. I no longer live in area but every time I come to see parents I always gotta make a trip there.

I love this store definitely a neighborhood staple.. the employees have all been there for a long time and they seriously take the time to learn and remember your name wow!!! They never make u look for them if u seem lost someone will immediately ask u if u need help. I wish bigger stores were like this.... Great job guys!!!

Very friendly and helpful workers! This tiny store is a jem! Every time I visit I am greeted with smiles and eye contact and employees are always willing to inquire as to if I need any assistance. I always get nostalgic when I visit here because I am reminded of the intimacy of what stores were like before large "super stores" nudged out great neighborhood outlets like this. Please keep it up! I'll keep visiting and shopping!
