I had such a positive experience shopping at Red's Shoe Barn this morning; needed a pair of all-around athletic shoes. I was warmly greeted by Susan - no pressure at all. She said to feel free to ask for assistance. I decided to confide in her, gave her my price range and size. What an excellent job Susan did providing me with so many affordable options. I'm not used to being waited on in this wonderful way. She made sure the fit was correct. Each pair she showed me was at a discounted price, too. I finally decided on a very comfortable, nice-looking quality shoe by New Balance. The woman at the register was so nice, too. Thank you, all, so much!

I have been shopping here for 20 years and the I wouldn't go anywhere else when shopping for boots, sneakers and sandals. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful in finding and fitting you in the perfect shoe.

My son brought me here to buy work boots since I had forgotten to bring appropriate foot gear for our Easter weekend yard work. Fantastic place; don't think I'll ever shoe shop anywhere else (and I live 2 hours away). Wonderfully well staffed with friendly folks, great selection and prices, pristinely maintained - I didn't think stores like this still existed. What a great experience.

I have to say every time I visit this store I'm more and more impressed by the knowledge of the staff! I prefer to shop local small business and this store is just that . The salespeople are actual salespeople! They are knowledgeable of the different types of shoes and sneakers they carry and what works for your foot type , running style, work needs or just general comfort in your shoes . I've been very fortunate to catch some great sales and today was another one of those days . I highly recommend this store for all your comfort needs for your tootsies!

Good selection of Patagonia apparel and a lot of it was on sale! We usually visit the Dover location but glad that we stopped at the Plaistow location. All the salespeople were very friendly. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Large selection, good prices and friendly service. The women's shoes are on the main floor, kids shoes upstairs, and the men's shoes are downstairs. Does get crowded sometimes.

This place is a gem. So lucky to have it in our back yard. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Went in for kids shoes today with my 7 year old and staff treated him like an adult. Made sure he loved his shoes and that they fit well. I cant wait to come back and buy shoes for myself. Thanks RED's

I had an awsome experience. As usual, I was expecting a self-serve experience. But, no, I was surprised to find 2 sales people in the men's shoe area. My sales rep was exceptional. He brought me 5 boxes of the same boots because I was looking for the perfect fit.

Also, have I pointed out that they had the workboots that no other store had. I went to 4 different stores and none had the boots I was looking for. On top of that, once I purchased the boots, I was happily surprised to learn that the boots were $20 cheaper than any other store. And this was not part of a sale or any other promo. It was just their usual lower price compared to other retailers.

An added bonus that many will like is the store's shoe sale area. They have great shoes on sale at reduced prices. For instance, a man shopping at the same time got 3 pairs of workboots for the price of one!

Overall, the customer experience was exceptional. I will now shop no where else but at Red's Shoe Barn for all my workboots and work gear.

Super helpful staff. Kids shoes are upstairs. Women on the main floor and men's downstairs. Great variety of hiking, running, work, sandals etc for all groups. Some clearance items in most sizes in the middle of each floor. Rewards program is $15 in store credit after spending $300.

Since getting winter boots there last season I am hooked. Today, Nick helped me and my mom find sandals and rain boots for me and sneakers for her. He was super attentive and seemed a quite knowledgeable. A great place to get quality footwear, shop local, and pay a fair price.

Hands down the best SELECTION of boots anywhere! and awesome prices. Bought my Columbia boots and very happy with them. Sales guys were helpful and knowledgeable. I'm even impressed with the running shoe selection! Going back for more!

Very helpful, great selection of foot wear. We tried on at least 10 different types of hiking boots and sizes. Each brand can be so different with sizes in the box, width ect. So when spending a lot of money you want to make sure they are 100 % comfortable and well made. The Red's employee was very accommodating and never made us feel like we were asking her to do to much!! Bought 2 pairs of Merrill hiking boots and we walk/board dogs
