I've taking my dog Tara here for over 10 years now and I won't take her anywhere else! When I first started bringing Tara here I was living down the street off 7th Street and they were within walking distance. Now I have been living in Avondale for the last 7 years and I will load Tara up for a ride to Madison animal hospital and grooming for her regular physicals, and shots. But yet I have still brought her back here when she was diagnosed for cancer in her rear leg and when she needed the tumor removed, yes I did I took her back to Madison animal hospital and grooming for her surgery and aftercare. I've been bringing her here for all her surgeries and Tara is now 14yrs old, and you wouldn't know that she had surgery 1 and half years ago on her rear leg of I didn't tell you.

I brought my 2 yr old English bulldog to Madison Animal Hospital for her spay procedure, Dr. Thompson and the entire staff was amazing! I wanted to bring her to a place I would feel 100% comfortable leaving her and I did. I drove an hour one way and would do it again because of the level of service they provide. The staff is so kind and really listens when you ask questions and voice your concerns. My vet spent more time than most vets do talking to me and making sure I felt heard and all my questions were answered. She helped my pups stay on the right track. I felt I was able to make the most informed decisions I could because they explained everything clearly and fully. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

I had just moved to the area and was stressed to find a good vet. I was grateful to get a recommendation from my coworker who I trusted. The location is a bonus and it is very near to home and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The explanation of the charges and estimates for future care was very much appreciated. My first appointment with my very stressed cat, Dr. Bufe, and the vet techs went well. She knew that she was anxious and prescribed meds to help her for our next visit. The veterinarian and technician were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly took great care in making sure we understood all aspects of the exam, bloodwork, and treatment recommendations.

They called us in less than 24 hours with preliminary blood results and gave a great explanation and helped us feel empowered to keep our little (old) doggy in good health as he ages.

The Groomer who took care of my dog was lovely and did an Exhalent job.
My dog has been very anxious since she was adapted with bones injuries 5 years ago but, behaved well today and came out of the working room happy.

I have two cats that this was going to be their first time at a hospital, well 2nd for the oldest (and she was a hellion at that time). So I was going in with both cats, to work on getting an International Health Certificate so I can fly with them to another country. Dr. Thompson and Tiana were easy going with them, even got them microchipped! I was worried about going back home and see how they would react to me. I am a newer cat owner, so bear with me. When I let them out of their carrier...they were acting like they normally do without any hiccups! To me, this says a lot about a place. The abrupt change in environment in the span of 2 hours was pretty rapid fire. I am thankful for their gentle handling of my hellions! If you have cats, come here!

They were the first doctor's office my little husky has ever been too, & they were very patient and kind to my busy body Geminii 🥰thank you guys so much for showing care and love to my fur baby! Most importantly thank you for keeping him healthy!❤

It's now been a little bit since I've been there last. And they are still awesome. Did really good with the Chihuahua and the cat that we brought over there. This experience was even better than the last. They give off some recommendations and never tried to pressure. Definitely recommend them.

Madison Animal Hospital & Grooming has been wonderful. They've been compassionate and caring with our fur babies. One of our dogs is aggressive with other dogs, the clinic works with us to coordinate bringing him in which helps tremendously to ease stress of bringing him in.
