Food is so delicious with very generous proportions. I have been there for lunch and breakfast and am super impressed. If you are a chicken fried steak person, this one is the best ever. Enough food for 3 people or meals. My only, very small complaint, the bacon. Even though i ordered it crisp came out a little too rare for my liking. The toast seems to be soaked in butter, then grilled. Good, if you like that, just not my cup of tea. Still the food is so delicous that it rates a 5 star!!

Ignore the bad reviews talking about their hours! The staff was super friendly, Becky was our server, very friendly and attentive but not overly. Party got a burger and the BLTA. They have skinny fries, and the shoestring onions on the burger were to die for! Ordered the Moscow mule, very good and zingy. Saw a sign about kids eating free some days, so it’s family friendly. We shall be back!

I was a little reluctant to try this place after reading some of the poor reviews. However, it was highly recommended by a former employee of Barrel 47 and they did not disappoint. The food was great! Our waitress was kind without being over attentive. I will definitely be coming back again and one shouldn't always listen to haters!

This place was a surprising treat. We were recommended this place by a cousin when we were visiting for the weekend and I'm glad we came. The staff are incredibly courteous and nice, which always makes a huge difference. It had the ambiance of a friendly pub while not feeling like it's gonna be full of a bunch of drunks. They've got a good food selection and will let you customize your orders too. They've got a "Man Cave" in the back that is in an old bank safe and it has an arcade game and shuffle board. Their selection of beer is decent and they've also got several cider options as well. A couple of their dishes utilize jams/jellies from a store right down the street that are amazing. Overall I was very pleased with the quality, quantity, and prices of the food and would recommend this place to any passer by.

Our first time eating here. And I'm hoping it won't be our last. After 4 days hunting elk in the rain. Stopping in Carlton on our way off the mountain 🏔 was perfect. The only thing my pulled pork sandwich needed was more of the cabbage on it.😁 The dipping sauce for my sweet potato fries, was delicious. Just a little bit a heat to it. 😉 I highly recommend giving this establishment all the love you can by way of your patranage once they are allowed to reopen for dine in service.

I went for the barrel burger even though I went to get prime rib, which is amazing. The burger is huge so come hungry it was the best burger I've had the staff was amazing to.

Best food ever. An omg the staff is amazing, the waitresses/ Bar keeps are amazing , funny and great women all around.
Everytime I'm in Carlton I go there.
Even found a new whiskey I LOVE! night owl whiskey, thanks to those ladies for introducing me.

Great food, with absolutely great service. Prices are more than reasonable. The serve breakfast lunch and dinner as well. 10/10 would recommend going there. Great for small or big groups. Kids even eat free under 10 years old!

It's a really nice, little pub! Took the whole family there (ages 14-82) and had a great time. The meals were all generous portions and the chefs accommodated for all the food allergies without any hassle, which was very much appreciated! The servers were very friendly and made the night enjoyable! We will absolutely be returning!

Came in about a half hour before closing time after a day of traveling. Friendly, prompt service, good food! Onion rings were amazing!

I went there because they have really good calamari. The food is really tasty and the service is great. Prices are reasonable too. A relaxed atmosphere which was nice. The New York steak was amazing. Large and thick and cooked to perfection! Go there!

The 1/2" thick bone in ribeye came out as a boneless ribeye.🤔. Servers were trying hard though.

We went for the first time Tuesday night and I can't wait to go back to try other menu items. I ordered the standard burger with bacon and mushrooms and subbed the super tots. Ordered a mojito, probably the best one I've ever had. We sat outside and it was perfect. Service was great. Food was delicious.

The mash potatoes, are the BESTEST I've EVER eaten.
I'm 58 and have had many different mashed potatoes from the east to the west coast and THESE get the golden potato peeler. Lol

First time trying this place out. Environment is nice and clean and food + service even better. Outside seating available or you can eat in the very clean inside. Menu has great selection - I only tried the wings today since I wasn't too hungry. Wings were excellent. We'll be visiting more often to try more of their menu items.

My favorite small town restaurant. Everything is delicious but my favs are bacon wrapped asparagus, French onion soup, Prime Rib and Creme Brulee. The blue cheese burger is amazing and so is just about everything else, I haven'thad anything I dont like and wasn't delicious.

I grew up in carlton. Barrel reminds me of the old atmosphere with locals and regulars. Becky is my families favorite waitress anywhere. The food is always good and Becky is always smiling and very attentive. When ever I walk in she always stops by the table with my 7&7 and a glass of wine for my wife. I am not the only local you will hear rave about Becky and Barrel.

Service was a little slow to get to us but once they did it was amazing and fast. The barrel burger may have set a new standard for the burger. Cooked to perfection, every bite was full of flavor. Amazing atmosphere. Live music was louder than i like it but that is me. Can not wait to go again.
