Glendale Heroes Regional Park

Beautiful Park, just FYI splash pad is not open until memorial day weekend to labor day weekend... the splash pad looks pretty awesome I called the city to make sure the splash pad was open before I drove over here and they said it was open and it was not,, I got to say though if you or your kids ride skateboards they have a really awesome skate park here and the lake is amazing there's a large waterfall in the middle with covered picnic tables located in different spots around the lake. The kids play area is nicely covered for summer but small, there are only two picnic tables under one Cabana and one park bench in the kids play area so in the midst of busy time bring something to sit on. The trees are Big Shady and Gorgeous... Absolutely Beautiful Park!😃

This was a beautiful park to come too. ❤ It is stunning and very simple style. We came to fish and relaxation 😌 😎 I was amazed they have Basketball, Skate park, playground, Splash park, canal to fish if you don't want the mini lake, and Beautiful Library 😉

It was clean, refreshing, beautiful place to have a picnic. Family fun and pet friendly. You can fish there too

Found this place online. Took puppers and my work items. Was able to lay out om a blanket and relax. The scenery is beautiful. They have basketball courts, playground for the kiddos, skate park area, a lake where you can fish. They have plenty of covered picnic benches to stay cool under. What a great place. Will come back many times.

I really love this place! It is so family friendly and clean. It has so much seating and grills for there to be ten parties at once. There is enough shade to protect you from the sun rays. There is a baseball field and open field right next to it. I will surely be back here next time I come into town.

Went to the library for shake it off for kids then off to the park. Really great park...beautiful views and an amazing swinger for yaya

We’re so happy they improved this park. There’s now a nice fishing pond and tons of walking paths. One of the paths takes you to the stadium.

There's a library, a skate park, a place to fish, a playground and a place to walk/ bike ride.

Very large area for Birthday parties or outdoor family gatherings , it's nice. I didn't know all that was there. 83rd ish and Bethany Home rd.

Our visit to Glendale Heroes Regional Park was fantastic! It's a great place for families. The playgrounds are super fun for the kids, and they had a blast. We also loved the open fields, perfect for a game of frisbee or soccer. The walking paths are well-maintained and provide a lovely stroll. The picnic areas are clean, and we enjoyed a tasty outdoor lunch. The park also has sports courts for basketball and volleyball. What stood out most was the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful lake. Watching the ducks and birds was a calming experience. Glendale Heroes Regional Park is a must-visit for families looking for a relaxing day outdoors. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Spent a Sunday afternoon walking around the pond at Heroes Regional Park. The Arizona weather was absolutely beautiful.

Across the street is the playground and outdoor water fountain for children.
With basketball courts too. If the weather is to much their's a Library.

Such a great place! Has a basketball court with room for multiple games to be played at once. Skate park, playground, areas with tables for picnics/parties. The fountain is stocked with fish and fishing is allowed as long as you have a valid fishing license. Even has a nice area where the kiddos can easily fly a kite!

Very nice at dusk. Was there for a warm-up bike ride and got to meet some nice people that were fishing. I was involved with installing the liner on that project while it was being built.

My friend and I visited the park for the first time. We went fishing and caught fish, but we were really impressed by how clean and well maintained the park seems to be.

Very nice park. My daughter's and I where shopping and looked up near parks. This one came up and really nice atmosphere, very relaxing, even kids said it was really nice.

Love this park. Playgrounds, restrooms, splash pad!!! Decent pokestops for a smaller park. a large skate park. Awesome waterfront views with fishing.

Beautiful park to go for a walk, heroes park has always been a favorite of mines. I can't wait until it's fully finished.

By far my favorite Glendale park. They have just about everything you want in a park - basketball courts, a skate park, splash pad, fishing, and a massive ramada area. There is also a library and plenty of area for the park to grow in the future.

Nice park, easy catch but dirty with trash in the pond and lots of dead fish ☹
