Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona

After getting lab work at my doctor's office, I received a bill for over $1900. I called BCBSAZ, my insurance company, to see if they could determine why it was so high. They lady I spoke to was so helpful. She saw a coding error. She called my doctors office to explain the error while I was on the phone. It was sorted out immediately. The coding error was fixed and the whole bill was covered! Great customer service!

Very friendly and professional staff. Mail room staff is extremely helpful while we all continue to work from home. They've been out departments go to for assistance through the epidemic, and being onsite to assist with our needs that can't be handled working from home.

This is a review on the company ethics and practices. I used BCBSAZ for several years, and was happy with the service. A few years ago my company offered me insurance, and it was easier to switch over to that, so I did. What I didn't realize is that I didn't cancel my BCBSAZ account and this payment kept auto-debiting for over a year. (In my defense, I thought it was a different bill when I was looking at my statements). I contacted BCBSAZ about paying double for insurance over that period of time, and I got a hold of the right people and they actually refunded the money. I thought I had a 1 in a million chance of that happening. It's nice to know that their is still some honesty and forgiveness even in large companies. Thanks again BCBSAZ for treating me like an actual human.

I am not a customer of Blue Cross Blue Shield. However this morning I saw about 10 volunteers between 23rd Ave and Dunlap to 23rd Ave and Butler picking up trash. That was amazing! What an awesome way to help and uplift a community. Kudos!

Their management team helped me with integrity when I had some billing issues. I thank them for their hard work.
