Gallery Hozho is a gallery you can trust to offer the most wonderful emerging and mid career Native American and Indigenous art. Their Director has an in depth background in pottery and art of the Southwest. I would collect there without hesitation. Their offerings are unique and contemporary. We just collected our first clay pot and hope to collect more from this gallery. If you are in Albuerquerque this is a not to be missed art destination. We live in LA but if they show something and we like it we just buy it from here. We completely trust them and are big fans!

Gallery Hozho is an amazing place that represents local artists. The gallery provides a deep-dive into what New Mexican culture looks like through the works of Omar Gonzo, Jacob T. Frye, and Ira Lujan to name a few. From the time I've spent here, I've learned more about new mediums and techniques in which New Mexican artists represent themselves.

Such carefully curated, beautiful art – a range of objects and collectibles that really captures the magic of New Mexico. Dr. Fricke (Suzanne) is such a gem. She's so knowledgeable and welcoming. And you're only steps away from Sawmill Market, which is really nice to explore.

First time in New Mexico and this hotel went above and beyond in every way. Was blown away. The front desk manager Sarah was the sweetest person I’ve ever dealt with in hospitality. She really took care of our party, as did Stefanie and Ben. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!!

My wife and I had a few hours to kill before our flight, and were looking around for art galleries. Given that it was Sunday, not much was open, but we did find Gallery Hozho. Suzanne, the gallery's director, was nice, assertive but not overbearing, and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. There were some nice pieces from a variety of artists, but we were completely taken by Virgil Ortiz, and ended up buying two of his large pieces. Given the gallery's modern focus with local artists, it's likely we'll be finding more pieces in the future. Definitely give this place a visit if you're in the area and interested in art.

Get ready, folks! It's only a matter of time when Gallery Hózhó will be voted as the best art gallery in New Mexico. To me, it already is. Located in the fabulous Hotel Chaco in Old Town Albuquerque, Gallery Hózhó, directed by art historian and curator Suzanne Newman Fricke, Ph.D. is my go-to for inspiration, stories, beauty and joy. The colors and designs of the pieces are as rich and deep as the passions and visions of the artists themselves. These pieces are contemporary, with exquisite holds in the past. New shows happen regularly, amidst live music, openings, and the opportunity to meet the artists and at times, their families. Conversations with them and with Suzanne, make these pieces come alive. Give yourself the gift of magic, and walk and breathe through Gallery Hózhó.

Gallery Hózhó has a great location within Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque's historic Old Town and near the Sawmill Market. It has a fantastic collection of contemporary New Mexican artists. I had the great luck to find a beautiful blue glass buffalo by Ira Lujan. Suzanne made sure to carefully and securely pack it before shipping it to the East Coast. The piece arrived in perfect condition. I'd highly recommend visiting the gallery as your guaranteed to find diverse and authentic works of art.

When I saw Ira Lujan's amazing lavender wedding vase I knew right away that it was the perfect gift. I had been looking for the perfect gift for my son and his girlfriend for quite a while. When I saw that vase in the window I was so drawn to it. When I went into the gallery and met Suzanne she told me about the vase and Ira, and gave me space to get to know the vase. When I did decide that I had to buy it for my son and his girlfriend Suzanne agreed to ship it for me, but that's not all. She even wrote a very personal letter to them telling them about Ira and his background, and how the vase was made. Fortunately it arrived in San Francisco unbroken and they were delighted. Thank you Suzanne for making the whole experience so wonderful. I will come to see you whenever I am in Albuquerque.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Suzanne to purchase a lovely piece. Since I live out of state, she and her staff had to arrange the sale remotely. Everything was very easy: the purchase went seamlessly, and the work was very securely packaged and quickly shipped to me. Thank you all!

I was looking on-line for a piece of Virgil Ortiz's art that I could afford to put in a display at the museum where I am curator. The gallery had a limited-edition mug featuring Taoky, Venutian Soldier that I wanted to use as an example of Pueblo art viewing the distant future. I look forward to visiting the gallery in person sometime.

We had a friend from Ohio visiting to help us recover from injuries from a car accident. We aren't able to drive ourselves yet so she took us to Hotel Chaco to enjoy the view from the rooftop to lift our spirits.

We stumbled on this beautiful gallery as we were leaving and had a wonderful tour. The director of the gallery is very knowledgeable about our New Mexican artists, has assembled a marvelous collection, and took the time to give us a thorough understanding of the artists, their work and techniques.

Our caregiving friend was particularly struck by a glass canteen by Ira Lujan. When we were home, a considering all our friend has done e for us we wanted to acquire the canteen as a gift, but weren't sure how to get it before she had to leave for home.

Suzanne, the gallery's director, went above and beyond! She arranged for us to choose the exact one that caught our friend's eye, packaged it and have it delivered to us the same day. Our caregiver was so surprised and truly moved when she opened the package. She's collected many pieces of art in her international travels but she said none so special as Lujan's canteen.

If you are ever in Albuquerque, we highly recommend a visit. You are in for a treat!

We love Gallery Hozho -- such a well-curated collection of Contemporary Art that is even difficult to find in Santa Fe. We always look here first to see what is new and available. The customer service and knowledge of the staff is especially appreciated. 5 stars all around!
