Third Street Books

Third Street Books is one of my all-time favorite book stores! I have been a patron for years because of the knowledgeable and friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and superior collection. With an account, you can collect rewards points towards discounts on future purchases. Their website allows you to order almost any book you can think of to be picked up in store (for no extra charge!) or to be shipped directly to you. They sell used books at reasonable prices, marked with a small red dot on the spine so you can easily tell where the best deals are. Even if I could find better prices at a chain store or online, I always prefer to shop locally and support this awesome business!

Their online ordering system is fantastic! I get any book I want through them. They communicate well about timing of the arrival of books I’ve ordered and are always as fast as possible. The book selection they have in store is also great! Very friendly staff. I couldn’t recommend this bookstore more!

Amazing book selection and adorable spot. We stopped in here while waiting for our table across the street for breakfast. I love when stores have staff feedback and notes on books they love and this store had a lot of that!

Such a cute little local bookstore! it’s easy to find specific books or just browse! Staff is very helpful and will search books for you or order them if they don’t have them in stock and call you when they arrive!!! can find just about any book you would order online SO ITS BETTER TO SHOP SMALL BUSINESS!!!!

We love Third Street Books! They are great at making recommendations, being patient with my kids, and when we have to order books they come in so quickly.

Great selection, especially kids and even has religious books and some Bibles, friendly staff. Limited book reselling options, but that's okay. We are grateful to have an independent bookstore in Mcminnville! We like to shop local despite the politics.

With wooden creaky floors and little hidden spots to read, Third Street Books is a Mcminnville treasure. I've been going here for years. And now I bring my nieces who love to read. They have a great selection of books and trinkets. You know the kind that you only find in tiny little bookshops. If you're any kind of romantic about books, this is the shop to run into on a rainy Oregon afternoon. Grab a cup of coffee first because you might find yourself getting lost in here for hours.

Stopped in here for the first time today and had a great experience. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Sweet environment with very good people. Books are super well priced and their selection was broad and inclusive, not to mention very organized and tidy. I’ll definitely be a frequent visitor! Thank you guys.

I love this bookstore. Friendly staff, always clean, and they can order anything you are looking for. They have an assortment of fun and unique gifts and beautiful blank books as well. It's always a treat to visit!

I came in to get some books for my kids and the young woman who helped us was simply fantastic. Really great, friendly/fun, experience. I think my daughter really liked her a lot. Got a lot of really great new books for the kids, too!

Great little book store. Really nice selection to look through, with thoughtfully curated recommendations and current content being showcased. And of course they can order any book you like so you should just go for a walk (or a drive then a walk) after you call and order over the phone. Because local book stores rock.

It's a small shop with a super friendly staff that's very helpful. I enjoy looking at the books, and the gifts they have. The gift selection is fun, from colorful pens, to little coin purses. If they don't a have book in Stock they will order it and call the person once it comes in. Last time I was in there employees made at least 5 calls to customers. They were so friendly on the phone.

I love this little book store! They have a great selection and usually have what I'm looking for. If they don't, they're happy to order it. They also have the best greeting cards!

Love this place and definitely recommend getting your books. I love how they have a kid space towards the back for your kids to also feel involved with what their parents are doing.

Great little bookstore. The employees are all knowledgeable and willing to chat about books. The material on the shelf is a little sparse, but it's a small place, and they're willing to order in anything you want! Plus they have a "borrow it, review it, get a dollar of store-credit" thing AND "blind date with a book" sometimes! I love this place.

They put together a package of 3 books for my 1 year old and my 7 year. Home delivery was an option and each of my kids interests were met when the staff picked these books out for my order. Price was very reasonable! Local businesses keeping the community a better place even during a pandemic.

Lovely place that has new and upcoming books that have yet to make the final edit :) my son uses the books they have in the review section where he can check out for free and returns a short summary to earn store bucks. Owner and employees are extremely friendly too. I always find something I have never heard of - a must go!
