Ramblin Rose Motel

I checked in late at night; the owners were very friendly and helpful. There's a smoked-glass blind in the wood-paneled office that's probably as old as my dad and the other reviews about "old but well-maintained" are probably spot-on. The room keys are exactly that, metal room keys, and the only real nods to modernity are the television and some USB charging ports in the fixtures. Otherwise, this feels a lot like the rustic barely-updated postwar motels I grew up with in the 1980s.

A side note: the wall unit heater works really well but only the main room is directly heated. The bathroom gets quite cold when the door is closed.

This motel is awesome! Vintage and in great condition, very clean. It looks like they have kept the original furniture but replaced the tops, which is a great idea. The shower was updated. It's too bad they filled in the pool with gravel, but that allows the price to remain extremely reasonable. I felt safe parking my moving truck and there and walking around because all of the rooms overlooked the parking lot. There was a bit of train noise because the tracks are maybe half a mile away, but I found it charming.

This is a sweet little motel that turned out to be a wonderful place to stay. The owner was kind and very helpful when she saw that I was limping, making sure that I got a room with a walk-in shower on the ground floor. I was given an old- fashioned metal key, but once inside the locks were updated and safe. All the amenities worked as expected (TV, microwave, fridge) and the air conditioner was wonderful. The room was also exceptionally clean. I recommend this motel to everyone, even if you can only stay a single night.

This Motel will give you a Vintage route 66 experience!!! The rooms are clean, perfect, safe, and have a Vintage feel of a 60's-80's road trip! If you want to stay at a place that has a vintage feel with the modern wifi, microwave and mini fridge convenience at an unmatched rate, come to the Ramblin' Rose! This is my second trip here and the experience was perfect. It is located near historic Kingman, which is an awesome experience in itself. I have no idea why I would ever go anywhere else.

The owner lady is very kind and helpful. They have taken an older motel and modernized the shower, but still has the feel of nostalgia. It’s located off the original Route 66. You have to fill out card at desk and still get an actual room key. VERY COOL!!The rooms are very clean. Bed is comfortable and the ac works great!! Room has fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Definitely recommended!! Road tripping from North Central Missouri to Las Vegas. Stopped here late with a pickup and trailer after many hours on the road. The folks running the place were extremely kind and overly accommodating! The room was very clean and everything was exactly as advertised! Who doesn’t want to stay at a ‘vintage’ motel on Route 66?? We were so happy with the place that we chose to stay again a few days later on our way back through! Next time I’m this way, I’ll stay here again! Thanks for a great experience!!

The train tracks are across the street, but you really don't notice or hear the train.

Great older style motel. The check in was easy and staff/ owners very friendly and helpful. Stayed on our way out to Vegas and again on our way back home. Very clean comfortable rooms, ample parking, and comfortable beds. Pretty close to about everything without being on the interstate.

I'm the type who loves retro motels, especially on old route 66, this one does not disappoint. The room and bath are very pristine. The place seemed well packed but quiet none the less.

Whenever I fly into Vegas on my way to explore AZ, UT, and CO, I make it a point to spend the night here. As others have stated, it is about the cleanest motel/hotel you will find. The family that own and run it are incredibly sweet and very clear when it comes to communication.

I dropped in several weeks ago on my way back to Vegas, and they were booked up. So they let me have the room they normally reserve for family and friends.

Every trip has been incredibly quiet and relaxing. I had just spent another peaceful week in Williams and Flagstaff, and this was just as calm.

The air conditioning is ice-cold and the air is so clean too.

Great room for the price. Stayed there on the way to Lake Tahoe. AC worked well. The staff was very nice and the food they were cooking when we checked in smelled absolutely amazing. Great little spot when you need a place to sleep. Rooms were very clean. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here for one night. Appreciate our room was very clean, sheets smelled fresh, no odor from rhe AC, our beds were comfortable. The area is pretty quite at night, only heard the train go by early in the morning, but did not mind it. Very friend staff. Very cheap price for a good quality stay. Highly recommend this motel!

My room was a great location at the end of the second floor and was very clean. The staff/owners were very helpful and friendly and you could tell how much they enjoyed the place and took good care of it. Location was convenient to a number of sites I was interested in on Route 66. The shower was well sized and very comfortable. You could sit outside your room and watch the trains go by across the street. AC worked great!!!

I stayed here 5 days. The people running this motel are awesome. Very nice stay.

I've stayed at half a dozen hotels in Kingman. This is my favorite. The beds are the most comfortable.

For the price ($65 for a family of 4) I have no complaints. The beds were comfy, room & bathroom were clean, which for me is always a must. It is in a convenient location to either side of Kingman.

This was our second visit to this sweet, little motel. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Although the property is old, the rooms are adequate, the bed is comfortable and the remodeled bathrooms are also adequate. This is our pitstop when traveling back to Texas from the Bay Area in California so hopefully, we'll be back.

So I stay in Hotels a lot. Especially affordable places under $70.00. The Ramblin Rose in Kingman gets the Award for "Best Affordable Hotel in Arizona".
Clean, presentable, friendly, convenient. I was shocked by how nice it was. Quite honestly I felt comfortable, welcome an at ease here.
If you re going to Kingman please look this place up.

Stop in the middle of the night on our way to the Grand Canyon and the lady was very nice and gave us a room she even explained why room was hot and was very nice honestly definitely will stay there again for sure. Rooms where very clean too
