I cannot express enough how much I appreciate Dr. C and the DH staff. My pets have been patients for more than a couple years now. I know my pets receive the most genuine and quality care. This is the greatest place to bring my fur babies. They all work so hard, always great service, and provide necessary treatment/options for your pet’s needs. Recently, we had to say goodbye to our 17 year-old chihuahua. It was such a hard day. Dr. C and the staff were there for us at every moment. They checked on us and sent a heartfelt note. I can only say great things about Desert Hills, my pets always feel comfortable here.

So thankful I found Dr. Cellars!
He and his team have been amazing. I love how caring they are and how well Dr. Cellars explains anything going on with my pups.

Super clean split reception areas (cats/dogs). Same for the observation rooms. Great people. Dr. Sellers has been our Vet for nearly 20 years and two great dogs .

Dr. Cellars has been our vet for over 25 years. Today I made a personal decision to have our 15 year old Dachshund Fritzie be put to sleep. He had lots of health issues and it was just time for our boy. Dr. Cellars and his staff were so kind and compassionate to me and my beloved dog during this process. With their compassion and kindness, I was able to let go of my best friend and know that I made the right decision.
Thank you Dr. Cellars and Haley for honoring and respecting Fritzie’s last moments with me. I am so touched for the kindness I experienced in your office today. Thank you !

This is the best vet I have ever worked with. There are so many vets that are taking advantage of pet owners and guilting them into unnecessary procedures. This clinic is very honest and extremely helpful. It is greatly appreciated

***Update***
I moved to CA and literally still come here for my dog. He just had his well check last week. Here’s how that went;
I walked in smiling and telling doc how my doggy is doing JUST GREAAT!! Doc looks at him with his expert eyes and orders labs. I don’t even call them the next day cuz, I know my dog is fine!!! Ha! He calls me two days later and tells me my dog has hypothyroidism, and walks me through the process of getting him on an affordable medication.
I remember hearing him tell a tech from the hallway “add a thyroid check to those labs, haven’t seen that in a while”.
If he’s not psychic then he must just be A TRUE EXPERT.

Side note; if any other vet told me my dog needed labs, I’d laugh and say no thanks. Dr cellars is the ONLY vet I have ever met that I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT trust to NEVER charge for unnecessary services. I brought my other dog in last week as well and was ready for doc to order all kinds of labs in him as he is a senior getting dementia. Not a thing needed, just a well check exam fee.

Thanks again doc, AGAIN! For saving my pets (and financial stability) all the time 🥲💕

***end of update***

Desert Hills got me through my epileptic German Shepherd’s life, and now are supporting me through my Doberman’s Addison’s disease. I’ll never go to another vet, they always take care of us and make us feel like my pets are as important to them as they are to me.

Our dogs have been patients of Dr. Cellers for more than a decade. He is the most practical, straight shooting, yet compassionate vet we have ever met. But a big key to his practice has always been his front office and vet techs. How he manages to find and keep these people is what separates the great vet practices from the really great ones. This is a REALLY great one.

My buddy Max was with me for 17 wonderful years He was such a sweet boy and great companion. Towards the end I was having trouble with letting him go. I didn't want to let go too soon but I didn't want to hold on too long and have him suffer.
I didn't want to lose him. I wanted more time.

Dr. Cellars examined Max then explained to me what was going on and how he was doing. He explained the procedure, what to expect, asked if I had any questions. He left the room and allowed me to have as much time with Max as I needed both before and then again after his passing.

I appreciate the compassion and kindness of Dr Cellars and his staff. He cares about the well being of and what's in the best interest of the pets he sees.

Dr. Cellers and his staff got my best friend Cooper back to normal and feeling like a dog again. I had already seen 3 veterinarians and made numerous visits over a 2 month period. Dr. Cellers recommended removing some infected teeth to relieve ongoing congestion issues. He and his staff were able to move up Cooper's appointment because I felt like he was getting worse. Not only has Cooper made a complete recovery but Dr. Cellers' fee was reasonable and significantly less than other veterinarians we visited. I would 100% recommend DHAH for you and YOUR best friend!

Dr. Cellars and his staff took great care with our new rescue dog. They made us feel comfortable with our options on medical concerns that need to be addressed. Very relaxed atmosphere for our little Yorkie, Nelli. Pricing is reasonable. For those on a tight budget, you can rest easy knowing you won't be charged for unnecessary care or procedures. I would highly recommend Desert Hills to those who want the best care for their furry friends.

I took my cat here as it was the closest and highest rated vet in my area. I took her in because I could tell she had dental issues with bad breath and rotting teeth. They were very kind and up front about what needed to be done and treated my cat very well. With the treatment, they were transparent and I compared the prices with other places and they were fair and competitive in that area. My cat is back to her normal self and healthier than she was before I dropped her off for her dental cleaning. I highly recommend them for normal checkups and special procedures.

As an addition, we took our dog there for a teeth cleaning and the experience was great! Our dog can be a lot to handle at times but they handled him with love and care. He came back with clean teeth and no more bad breath. We love this vet and will continue to bring our pets there.

Over the last 20 years, my husband and I have rescued and fostered 7 pitbulls, 2 Rottweilers, and 2 coyote hybrids. To sum it up, we’ve seen a lot of vets! We have also sadly dealt with a lot of heartbreak as every pet owner does. Stewart Cellars and the staff at Desert Hills Animal Hospital have provided, in our experience, the best AND most compassionate care ever! Dr. Cellars and his staff have cared for our puppies and our senior dogs. Dr. Cellars is a straight shooter. He will tell you what’s going on with your pet. Unlike other vets, he will not give you false hope or attempt to milk you for your money. To describe our years long relationship with Desert Hills Animal Hospital, we would use the words: honesty, compassion, fairness, respect for you and your relationship with your pet, and concern for the dignity of your pet in it’s final months. We cannot recommend Dr. Cellars and Desert Hills Animal Hospital highly enough!

I wish I would have found this vet years ago. Dr. Cellers is amazing. He and his staff are incredibly kind, and it is obvious they love animals and have compassion for their dog and cat parents. Their prices are reasonable and they don't guilt trip you when you are concerned about how much something will cost. They are fast and thorough. My senior dog is doing much better in just under two months. I highly recommend them.
