McMenamins Hotel Oregon

This historic hotel is located on 3rd Street, the main street in McMinnville for shopping and eating. It has a great rooftop bar to enjoy on a sunny day, and a cellar bar for anytime of year. The rooms are cozy and the food and drinks make for an overall satisfying experience.

We booked two queens with a shared bath (toilet and shower jack and killed between the two bedrooms). Each bedroom had its own sink. It was very clean and just right for our one night stay. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and live music at Mattie's.

We came for breakfast; he had chicken and waffles and i had the longshoreman country fried steak. Its not often that food makes me this happy, it was perfectly seasoned and it was hard to stop eating. the chicken was very tender and had a great spice to it. So glad we stopped in roday~

I know that McMenamins food and brews can occasionally be divisive for people, but most people seem to agree that their hotels are top notch experiences. Although we didn't stay overnight (this time) at Hotel Oregon, we received a pretty complete tour of the grounds in the search for our passport stamps, and I can say that once again, my wife and I were very impressed, and look forward to staying here in the future.

Despite popping in to the front desk a total of five separate times (once for each stamp), the woman working the counter was wonderfully friendly and gracious. A couple of the smaller bars were closed during our hunt, but we were able to take in the charming, always quirky McMenamins aesthetic throughout, dined in both the ground floor pub and the rooftop bar, peeked into a couple rooms being (sic?), and enjoyed strolling and shopping along the conveniently adjacent 3rd street downtown district of McMinnville. Visitors to this surprisingly endearing town would be hard pressed to find better lodgings.

All McMenamins is such a vibe. It's so chill and calm. It does take a bit to get food, but this is a chill sit-down restaurant. It's just so celestial and magical. I love it here

Like all McMenamins locations, this one is beautiful. The dining area service was lacking, we were seated for at least 10 minutes before it seemed we were even noticed by wait staff. They were training a new server, however it's still a poor excuse for the excessive wait times even after we were noticed and served.

What a perfect day. It was cold outside but we were warm with our hot tea made to order and a tuna sandwich with a tomato bisque soup that was out of this world. Victoria was our waitress and she was awesome. Thanks for this experience on a autumn day in McMinville. We will definitely be coming back.🎃🍂

We have never stayed at the hotel, so I can't really rate them. The restaurant and lounge are very welcoming and the food and service are quite good. The prices are fairly high, but seem to be in line with other venues of this caliber.

I've stayed here. Eaten here. Stopped in for a drink. All were good experiences. Great building with cool features. Good location right on the main drag in McMinnville.

We had the best time staying here for the air show weekend! Super adorable room with a little patio area, live music & cellar bar was amazing!

We forgot our pillow and they called me the next day to let me know, very kind & great staff!

Eric at the main desk was so lovely. He was knowledgeable and clear. He was clear and extremely kind to the newcomer. I'm grateful we were able to be there when he was.

Thanksgiving brunch with my son. A good place to eat b4 a nig dinner with friends. Nice to have some 1:1 time since our days' plan had us going opposite directions.

Settled in the middle of a beautiful little downtown with lots of great shops and restaurants. Bring your ear plugs, historic buildings aren't sound proof but a wonderful place to stay with numerous great bars (from cellar to rooftop) on site and cool claw foot tubs in the rooms.

I love everything about this hotel except that there was too much fragrance in the soaps and shampoo. I had to bag it all and air out my room. Everything else was wonderful 👍

Oh man. So awesome. Victoria was our server and she was amazing! McMenamins service is dependent on the staff and Hotel Oregon wins!

Food wise it’s incredible too. My favorite tacos have been here. Awesome beer.

Hotel Oregon is a must stop at location. 4 floors. A roof top bar. Nice outside seating and great indoor and rooftop locations.

I was looking for a non-chain hotel experience and got it! This place is so cool, the room was very comfortable and beautiful. I was a little concerned about the shared bathroom arrangement but it was totally fine and there was still a sink in the room. There are so many restaurants around and the place felt so lively. It was a little tricky to find parking in the evening but I was able to move my car right out front once crowds cleared. The cherry on top was the absolutely delicious coffee they serve to guests which was a delight compared to the gross keurig that you usually find in hotel rooms. Would totally stay again!

Victoria was an amazing server. She showed us around the hotel on where to find stamps and made us feel right at home. She was absolutely wonderful!

Ate in the restaurant. Fantastic clam chowder! Mini burgers were delicious 😋. Definitely going back. Soon!

The whole experience here was excellent from beginning to end. I travel for work, and stay in a lot of hotels, this was a very nice stay but the best feature is the restaurant and bar. The drinks selections are fantastic and imaginative, and for the most part locally sourced, I looked forward to every night trying something new from their diverse and well thought out menu.
