Went there today (27th of August)!, had my usual Apricot Chicken Salad, which was incredibly tasty, and my Hubby had the Red Thistle Burger, which was also very tasteful. He also got the Garlic Aioli. Waitress extremely friendly! Hands up GVB🍴🍽🍴🌝

Went today 16th of July, had my Apricot Walnut Chicken Salad., and as always super delicious! Brian was our waiter, very nice and attentive. Hands up for GVB McMinnville.

Went there again on Sat.30th of Sept.
Had a junior cheeseburger with fries and garlic aioli, hubby had the Walnut Apricot Chicken Salad ( which btw. is my all time favorite). The food was incredibly delicious and our waitress was extremely nice (Kylie, you deserve a raise 👌⚘). We love GVB
Also took home a four pack of Red Thistle cheese sausages yum 😋

Always great food and our tummies are happy 😊

Had my Burger with Fries and hubby had ital. wrap with fries. Both as always super delicious! Extremely nice waiter! We love this place! Keep up the good everything!!!

Whenever I'm in McMinnville, I come here since I like beer in the heart of wine country. The food is good and the bartender, Taylor, is a sweetheart. A good place in the bar area to watch sports and eat.

The burger I got was the junior burger. And it was plenty. I've only tried one of the beers which was pretty good. My first time here, and all went well.

Wonderful food! I ordered the meatloaf dinner and it was excellent! Good cider too.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Nice seating with lots of dark wood, and it wasn't too loud to be able to carry on a normal conversation.
The chocolate torte for dessert didn't hurt either.

Stellar! Burgers or gourmet gorgonzola mushroom pasta (aka: casual or fancy), all served with locally raised beef, local brew and local wines. Food was quick and delicious (it's hard to get a burger cooked exactly right). We're here for a week and plan to make at least one trip back before heading home.

Very impressed with Golden Valley.
During the pandemic they elevated their dinner menu when other establishments were closing or struggling to maintain. Now, post pandemic they have remained consistent and delicious. I can go any night of the week and expect excellent cocktails and well prepared flavorful food.
The most recent visit we were a party of 5. We showed up at 6 pm which is peak dinner hour in downtown McMinnville. The place was hopping with no seating available. The hostess was welcoming and assured us we would have a table in about 20 min. We moseyed over to the bar, order cocktails while we waited . We were seated 18 minutes later.
Our waitress, Destiny was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We ordered a few appetizers- onion rings and pan fried oysters. She suggested 2 plates of oysters because they are so good we will want more than one each. We took her suggestion and glad we did!
For dinner we ordered 2 orders of cod fish and chips. A Walnut and chicken salad, a juicy burger and a rack of pork ribs with mashed potatoes. Our idea was to share everything however, that only lasted as far as the salad. Once everyone received a plate we ate without sharing because it was that damn good! We ended up passing on dessert because we were all too full.

First time here! The staff was amazing. Great recommendations. My son had the Mac and cheese, and I had the Avocado Turkey BLT with sweet potato fries. O. M. G. They were AMAZING!!! To drink I had a local gluten free beer, which was outstanding.

First time here! We were seated right away, bar side. Ordered appetizers and ciders. I had ordered the Oregon Burger with fries. And wow! The burger was huge and filled. It was hard to finish it. It was so delicious! I pushed through finishing it. Will definitely come back. And when the weather is better so I can take my dog and sit on the patio. Our server was phenomenal! Checked on us and went out of her way to correct an order already sent to the bar, I hate that I can't remember her name...Karlie, Kaile, Kelsey.... I'm so sorry!! But her name stated with a K or C.

Just hands down my fave restaurant. Excellent food and service, even if it takes a while to get your food, still worth it!

Good beer. Good food. What more can you ask for? They've also got some good deals during their happy hour and specials every day of the week! If I lived closer to McMinnville, this place could easily be my go to spot. They have a full bar and a varied cocktail menu, but when I'm at a brewery I like to stick to the beer. Their beer flight has ten different beers which I thought was awesome. Definitely a fun place!

Wow, food, drinks, desserts, and a fancy old pub/bar feel. This was the first time that I had gone to Golden Valley, but it will not be my last.

I was super impressed with the small home feel of the food, incredibly well portioned, delicious and filling. The service was prompt, light and informational, and most of all…friendly. Even with a packed house of clients…the service team was so good.

Besides for the food, the beer selection on tap was amazing. They offer everything, Porter, Stouts, IPA, ciders, and my favorite now…a good sour. They offer a really fun presentation of beers to taste by the looks of it, 10 different styles. That may be the way to go to find the perfect flavor for your palette.

We will be back. Order more of the specials, and definitely try to leave more room for that incredible Oreo cookie dessert they had.

Stopped in here the other day for some lunch, and was really impressed. I really liked the warm atmosphere. The food was cooked to perfection, and there is a large wine and beer selection, something for everyone. The waiter we had could not have been any better, bringing us what we needed before we even knew we’d need it. Highly recommend.

Great place to eat. We had a birthday party there recently and they couldn’t have been nicer. Very nice homegrown meat. And the beer sampler is fun.

I had a black and blue burger with fries. It was one of the better burgers I've had, slightly charred on the outside. The fries were also delicious. A great place to go for quality pub food and good service!

First time here. We were able to get seating outside which was really nice. I was with my mom and sister. We ordered a beer, cider, onion rings, apricot walnut salad, seafood chowder, and korean bbq beef bowl. Everything was great! Service was great too! The only suggestion I have is to put the rice from the korean bbq in a separate bowl. By the end of our meal it was just soggy rice.

This is my go to place for date night or any other time we are looking to eat out. The management and staff always do a great job. The food is very good, and the beer is better.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks!! Our server, Anthony, was spectacular! He knew the menu and products in and out and was incredibly personable! =)

Good food. Good atmosphere. Rib eye Steak was great and on point to my liking...med rare ...dessert was great..service was good...overall I recommend it. The Rib eye should have offerings of sauteed button mushrooms in some garlic butter....THAT would be great...the rib eye is 20-21 day dry aged and is flavorful...

Really great food, ambiance, and service. I had the veggie wrap, a side salad, and onion rings. All dressings made in house which made them extra tasty. Genuinely impressed with the quality here.

Excellent Food, Excellent Service. Would recommend to anyone, including those with children . The drinks are excellent, they have a good happy hour and a good 5 for $5 on Fridays. (5 different drinks, $5 each). Shout out to our server Shawna who really went above and beyond. I woukd absolutely go back and bring family and friends.
