I had to put my kitty down today and they could not have been more caring and compassionate. She passed in the most peaceful way possible. They paid attention to every detail of the experience for both of our comforts Dr Smith is a gifted veterinarian .

I am elated and grateful to have found Larkspur Cat Clinic and Dr. Smith and his staff. I spent literal years forking over thousands of dollars to several different veterinarians without any real diagnosis or help for my cat. Dr. Smith went over all of her records as a new patient and told me exactly what I needed to know and only charged me for an office visit. He is not out to just get your money - he genuinely cares and he is super smart and educated. The staff is friendly and professional. Thank you Larkspur Clinic staff and Dr. Smith - don't know what we'd do without you and I'll never go anywhere else! I drive 45 minutes and it is worth every second!

If you are a cat person, this is the place! Doc Smith and the staff are the very best, seriously, there is no better treatment for your cat. One of ours was given up on by another vet, 5 years later, she's still going strong thanks to the treatment she received here.

Getting a male cat to stop peeing outside the litter box is one of the most frustrating and stressful things to deal with. Dr. Smith is kind and thorough, he understands cats (even VERY cranky, senior ones like mine) and has a gentle demeanor with them. I appreciate Dr. Smith and his staff for taking care of my old girl and helping us get her health back on track. He was able to identify her issues and explained treatments options to me in a way that was easy to understand. The Larkspur Cat Clinic staff are also very kind and helpful! It is worth the 1 hour drive for me to ensure the best care for my senior kitty.

I'm so glad we found Larkspur! My kitties didn't need anything special but Dr. Smith spent time educating us on best feeding practices. He explained everything easily, step by step, and provided us with literature. He also encouraged further research of our own. I appreciated the time he took. I have a baby Savannah Cat and searched around for a few days to find Larkspur Cat Clinic. Living in Mesa, there’s not a lot of options for Savannah kitten care. Justin has been absolutely amazing by taking the time to explain not only what the issues are with with our baby kitty but why they might be happening. I will recommend anyone with a kitten or cat in the greater Phoenix area to take her to Larkspur because it’s worth the drive regardless of where you live.

Dr Smith had a great touch with my cat, good thing because his two brothers need to go in next! He took his time talking to me about general cat health, and of course my boy, specifically.

It is hard to even put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Smith, Sarah, Sierra, and all the staff at Larkspur. They ACTUALLY care. They provide outstanding love, support, and quality care to their patients. Sarah even follows up after hours because she cares so much. They saved my girls life and she was able to have 6 extra months with me before the cancer took her. They were gentle and empathetic. I am SO thankful that Lily had people like them to love her to the end

Dr. Smith and his staff are wonderful! They have been the Cat experts who have seen our cat Ophelia for a number of years. Although we moved away from the area, I am so glad we took Ophelia back for her final visit. Dr. smith was so compassionate and spent so much time with me as I made the tough decision to part with this precious cat we rescued so many years ago. Thank you so much Dr. Smith, and you are so right, she was no longer the "fat" cat you were use to seeing in your clinic.

A "cat only" clinic has a calming effect on our cats. Dr. Smith is knowledgeable, kind, and gentle. I would highly recommend this clinic for your cats, even if it might a bit of a drive.
