West Valley Fire District Station 8

I walk using a walker and I love it when I come across a door that's nice and lite to open. And, the West Valley Fire Districts door was very lite so, kudos for the West Valley Fire District for their door was very lite and easy to get into so they are handicap friendly buseness!
I was greeted by a nice receptionist at the front door and a I greeted her in return. I asked her if I could ask her some questions about how the fire station is run and she said yes. So, I asked her how many people stay at the station during the day and she said they have ten students who spent their time split between being at the station and going to school. They have 3 to 4 people who work a certain shift, they work 2 days on and 4 days off and they run 3 shifts. They have a crew that sleep at the fire station every night. The Fire Cheif is only there during the day, unless there's an emergency then he comes in no matter what time of the day it is. They have 2 part time receptionist .So, you can sleep well knowing that the West Valley Fire District is on the job ready to get to a fire as quickly as possible!

My 8 yr old son had a seizure while.at school the emts were fantastic and I would like to thank them for taking exceptional care of my child

I have been treated with great respect when I have had to call them do to my ashma they helped keep me calm on the way to hospital

This team definately has a good head on their shoulders! Thank you guys for everything you do! Especially what you have done for my family and I!
