Stopped in without a reservation on a Thursday afternoon. We were greeted with a glass of rose and a seat near the magnificent fire place. Don't let the drive in fool you, the views from the tasting room are spectacular! We were paired with Alexis for our tasting and boy is she knowledgeable about wine! (check out her certifications! 🤓) Alexis was super personable a ton of fun and able to dumb down the explanations for us common tasters 😝. We had an absolute blast and will be recommending Penner-Ash to friends and family. The Pinot was exceptional and it was just an all around positive experience. Can't wait to come back! Oh, and there are both J1772 and Tesla NACS electric car chargers on site for guests 🚗⚡🔋🔌

The wines were exceptional, the views were fantastic, but most of all we felt so warm and welcome thanks to our wonderful host Keilah! Her extra friendly demeanor and knowledgeable background was the cherry on top of the whole experience. Highly recommend Penner-Ash (and Keilah). We will definitely be coming back!

There are so many wineries to choose from in this area but we are so glad we decided to visit Penner-Ash. We had a private tasting hosted by Jessica who was absolutely amazing! Her enthusiasm for the brand and wine was obvious and made the tasting so much more enjoyable than others we did. The wine was also some of the best we had on our visit. The gardens are beautiful and the view is stunning. Be sure to add this to your list of places to visit on your wine journey.

We are so glad we decided to visit Penner Ash for my birthday. We had a private tasting hosted by Jessica who was absolutely amazing! Their selection of Pinot Noirs were diverse and unlike anything we have tasted before. Her enthusiasm for the brand and wine was obvious and made the tasting so much more enjoyable. Also, the view from the patio/ garden is stunning. Be sure to add this to your list of places to visit on your wine journey.

Aside from the top tier wine, Reid was BY FAR the best host I have had the pleasure of experiencing. His passion, enthusiasm, and charisma elevated our tasting experience. We had a set of wineries to taste following Penner-Ash, and I was disappointed that Reid couldn’t come with us because our time at Penner-Ash was unmatched. I would recommend anyone to visit this tasting room, from folks just starting their wine journey’s, to those who know everything there is to know about wine. Without a doubt, we will be back.

7 wineries in 3 days. All in all, not too aggressive. Thankfully, we saved Penner-Ash for last. We keep coming back here. Not just for the wonderful wine, but for the great view, lovely people, and restful experience of hanging out in the lovely tasting room, then sitting with friends on the lawn overlooking the vineyard.
I firmly believe there's no such thing as perfect, but every time we visit, I'm reminded that working toward perfection is worth the effort.

My wife and I visited Penner-Ash in Mid-Sept for a tasting which included a short tour of the vineyard. Our visit immediately preceded harvest, and touring and sampling wines from the estate vineyard ripe with grapes was a memorable experience. The tasting patio offers a stunning view of the Chehalem Creek to the east. Our host Alex was knowledgeable and provided good insight into the various Pinot Noirs during our tasting. The flight was very good overall; however, the 2018 Estate Pinot Noir and 2017 Zena Crown Pinot were our favorites. Also notable was their 2020 Rogue Valley Viognier which had the refreshing floral, stone-fruit notes which we love in the variety. Recommended.

Visited mid-August and had a wonderful time. They've always had outdoor seating so social distancing was not an issue. Wines were as delicious as we remember them from our last visit. Yes, we keep coming back, for a reason. We love the wine, the view, the people. You can't ask for anything more.

First, thanks to Reed, who was our host, and guided us through the tasting. A wonderful experience.
We tasted 3 pinots, simultaneously, same year but from 3 different acreages. THAT was very interesting indeed. Never done that before. Very creative.
We ended up with some wine, plus membership in the wine club.
Total Score.
Thanks Reed.

This would have been unthinkable a generation ago, but the proof is in the liquid🍷: Oregon, and the Willamette Valley🏞 in particular, have become sources of some of the most exciting, exacting, and terroir-specific🍇 wines in the world.
Yet Oregon is home to so much more than just epic Pinot Noir; from white wines crafted from Riesling🥂, Pinot Gris, and beyond, to sparklers of serious accomplishment, Oregon has evolved into an unlikely superstar in the world of wine.
This Chardonnay🔝 is a true expression of the Willamette Valley👍

Great property, friendly staff, and an amazing view. Visited during the off-season, but still a worthwhile stop even though it looks tailored for a better summer experience.

Ended up buying a case because we loved 4/6 wines provided on the tasting menu.
