Slake House

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere! Gluten free beer and many ciders on tap to choose from which is rare for most tap houses these days.

After an early evening walk, I stopped at the Slake House to enjoy a refreshing cider. Tiffany and her husband, Richard, were most welcoming and kind and made me feel right at home. After a couple glasses of cider in the perfect night air, it was, unfortunately, time to go. This is a great place to go to unwind with its wide selection of beer and cider. I highly recommend it.

One of our favorite places to go for a drink. While it isn't as nice of a location as downtown, it has a great, cozy and inviting feel inside. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. And the beers. Oh the beers! Always great selections, decent prices, and plenty to choose from. Don't miss this place if you appreciate good beer.

Wonderful place, great atmosphere and terrific top notch service. What is the best is that they locally brew their own ciders with an unmatched attention to detail. The result: highly rated and award winning flavors that everyone loves.
When I am in the neighborhood it is a sure place to stop by and visit.

Delicious ciders! I stuck with the dry, but tasted the fruitier versions, and they were also great. Not too sweet or overwhelming. Small space, but not cramped. Friendly helpful bartender. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Great selections of beer and cider plus Nancy Joe's burger across the street. What a great combination and a relaxing atmosphere. Rein is very nice as well. Great ace to hang out.

Greatest tap house around. Great environment and great staff. If you dont know Carlton Cyderworks and you like cider, you guys need to get to know each other. True fan here, nothing bad to say. LOVE EVERYTHING.

I've been here several times for the well curated tap list. I sit, read, and people watch. I get a definite "local watering hole" vide. And then today Tiffany suggested combining a beer favorite (Hot Blonde) with a cider. Soooo good. Get up, head out, and visit.

Great place to grab a pint or fill a growler. Outside and inside seating, comfortable, and it would be a great place to bring your favorite take out to eat while sampling all the drafts
