5th Street Books

This is the kind of bookstore that is owned by people who love books.

You can tell by the way the shelves have been built over years, by the categories that reflect the local community, and the willingness of the owners to share a good story.

Shelves and tables are brimming with books from old leatherbound classics to well loved paperbacks. The books come from all over the world, and many copies had little notes and scribbles from the original owners. I actually caught one of the owners dragging in boxes of new books and can only imagine that people like me who want their books to be loved for the ages send them here.

I had always told myself that if I found a certain vinyl record, I would buy a record player. I found that little treasure here.

Warning, the store is guarded by a cat that takes her job very seriously as greeter. While she is so sweet, if you have severe feline allergies, this might not be the store for you!

This little local bookstore store is well worth the pit stop from Vegas to Pheonix.

This store had exactly what I was looking for. I was on vacation and never been here. Full of stacks of books like most used book stores. The owner or employee (not sure) took me right to where I needed to be. Very friendly. Make sure to bring cash, no cards accepted. I don’t normally have cash, but had a little that covered. That’s another plus, prices are nice.

This is a super cool small bookstore. The selection isn’t huge, but I found exactly what I was looking for and it was a deal. Everything is well priced, somewhat organized and the shop keeper is a super nice lady. They also have super friendly cats and a dog. Overall a great experience, but keep in mind that the selection is quite small.

I walked in and the first thing was I got greeted by a friendly Shop dog. The lady behind the counter was very helpful, and did her best to point me in the direction of things I claim that was looking for or was interested in. I got distracted again when I found one of the two Shop cats who was resting comfortably and supervising the store. It is a cash-only shop, so bring some cash in with you whenever you visit it's definitely worth checking out.

Great bookstore with a very helpful owner. Wonderful place to find unexpected treasures. The store has a wide variety of books from new to antique, technical to light fiction, history to science, and more. Most are categorized and computerized. Reasonable pricing, too. The only full service bookstore in Kingman.

I love love love this book store! The owner is super nice and the books are reasonably priced. If you are looking for used books this is definitely the best place to get them.

Wonderful way to spend the day...looking at every topic of books. The proprietor is very helpful and has an abundance of information, to help you find just the right book.
