My mom’s chihuahua got sick and there was nothing we could have done to help make her better. We were treated kindly and the service to have them put down my moms pet was affordable. They were very professional and caring. I recommend this place.

I don’t know how this place only has three stars. They treat there animals as their own family if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have my dog all other vets wanna charge you an arm and a leg. They are very reasonable I don’t know how they make money when they charge as little as they do. If you want your animals to be loved and cared for bring them here you won’t regret it! - Regina Verdugo

Recently, took my English bulldog to have a
c-section. Surgery went well, the doctor was informative, professional & straightforward. He delivered 8 healthy pups. Our girl is thriving & has been healing well. Thankful and grateful we found a reliable doctor. The follow up appts have gone good. This place gets really busy and stays busy from what I’ve witnessed. But thankfully we didn’t have to wait much since we had appts & arrived on time. Our experiences with the staff & Dr. have been positive. Thank you to all who cared for our girl.

Been coming here for years. Love the care they provide to my pets. It’s an affordable place to get shots and my experience here has been nothing but positive. The reviews here do not reflect the quality care that Dr. Santis provides to pets. I’ve been to several vet offices, and there’s a reason why I trust bringing them here and refer anyone who is looking for a vet to Santis. Staff is always wonderful and knowledgeable as well.

He’s the absolute BEST. my fur baby has been a patient of his for almost 10 years💗 I only trust Dr. Santis with my dog and ONLY Dr. Santis. His staff is amazing and super patient as well. I brought my Monster Kitty here last week on Tuesday found out he had to have surgery. They were able to get him in the next morning for the surgery and I picked him up at 5pm the same day. I can't express how grateful I am to the Dr and staff for helping my ferbaby. He is acting like himself again" A Monster"😃. I would recommend bringing your pet to this vet. Also the office visit price was by far cheaper than anywhere else I found and that in itself was a huge deal for me. Thank you to the Dr and the staff for taking care of my Monster Kitty and me.

I just wanted to say I have had to bring my cat back to him a couple more time's for new issues. The dr is just the absolute best ever! He know's what is going on and the right course of action to take and has been correct everytime. Not only do I take my cat to him but I also bring my 4 dogs to him as well. Is he hard to understand at time yes, but he does have a tech with him who can help so you can understand what's going on. I will not take my pets anywhere else. The office prices are by far less then anywhere else and the location is perfect for me.

Santis pet clinic is amazing! I have been bringing my Pitbull, Pomeranian, and cat to Santis for quite some time. Their care, compassion, knowledge, and empathy is always above and beyond each time I come! Dr. Santos did blood work on my senior Pomeranian and figured out she has beginning kidney failure. His team treated her with IV fluids, so she can heal! My animals are my everything, and would only bring them to a clinic where I have 100% trust in! I would trust Dr. Santos and his team with all of my future pets, as well as my family and friends’ pets!! Thank you Santis Clinic!

We have been taking our two dogs at this location for about 3 years now or more. The wait can be frustrating at times but it is worth it. The staff are kind and so is the doctor. They really try to connect with your pets plus they speak Spanish. They will go above and beyond for your pets, you just have to be patient while waiting.

Our family brought in our 15 year old Pomeranian sheltie mix. She would not eat and would also vomit. We have realized that she should go to the vet and get help. At the vet, the amazing veterinarian diagnosed her of both COPD and kidney liver failure. He suggested that she should go into surgery but for her age it was not well to put her under. The vet said she can go on IV fluids to help her and hopefully she can pull through. I recommend this veterinary clinic for all pet owners. Lastly, if I had the chance to rate them more than five stars I would.

Dr. Santis is an awesome vet. He is not a scam as one reviewer said. Obviously that reviewer has no idea what they are talking about.
He is skilled in both cats and dogs. I've had 4 animals that had to have surgery 2 cats and 2 dogs for various reasons. The last one my dog had to have surgery right away for a growth in his mouth. Dr Santis moved his schedule so that we didn't have to wait. He was important to have it done asap which was confirmed by another vet who couldn't perform the surgery soon enough for my dog. I would have went to Dr Santis first but my dog was older and had been under this other vets care for many years. Prices are good I've been to vets who charged more for various procedures. Again he is not a scam.

I've taken all of my fur babies to Dr. Santis. He and his team always provide the best care at a very reasonable price. Thankful for their clinic and Dr. Santis expertise!

Dr. Santi and his staff (family) have taken care of my pets from beginning to end. Any negative reviews are horribly wrong. They have done cancer mass removal surgeries for my dog as well as neuter. They also have done euthanasia for me same dog with a respectful ceremony. They have also taken my other dog (patient) in after he passed away Christmas eve and got him cremated for me with no issues because that's the type of good people they are. Each time they've told me not to worry they would take care of everything for my deceased pups and they did. Recently they have vaccinated my new pup fully this year. They are good priced and family ran. I recommend them to anyone.

I hate to see this business get such bad reviews, so I wanted to add my own experience. I have been taking my dog here since we adopted him over 10 years ago, our previous dogs have seen Dr. Santi, too. We come from across town for our visits. I don't always bring my dog for regular checkups here unless something else is going on. I sometimes get his shots at another vet. The reason? The wait is SO long. They do not make appointments and visits often take place in the afternoon and Saturdays. Expect to wait; hours, possibly. If you can't wait, like I sometimes just cannot, take your pet elsewhere. But know that Dr. Santi CARES about your pets, is HIGHLY EXPERIENCED, has seen just about everything, and is beyond REASONABLY PRICED. A recent surgery cost less than $800; I could see paying almost double that elsewhere. The practice only deals in cash, so be aware of that, too. Otherwise, we appreciate the care our 14 year old pet has received here.

The bad reviews are from folks with some animosity towards this clinic. Also, remember, Veterinarians are medical practitioners. Not omniscient Gods. They can only do the best with what is presented and what they are taught. My dog, age 15, started to cough up white foamy phlegm three days ago. I couldn't find a Vet who would see her until after Thanksgiving, two weeks away. Santis said they take "walk ins" after 1:PM. So, we went. Yes, the place was packed. All walk in clinics are. We got there at 1:00 and were seen at 4:30. For not having an appointment and being able to see a Doctor that day, it was worth every minute of the wait.
The Doctor checked for fever, pushed and prodded the lungs and esophagus and checked for congestion in the lungs with a stethoscope. He did NOT push for Ex rays, or blood tests, or any other expensive diagnostic. Based on his examination, he recommended antibiotics and cough medicine. And, if there was no improvement in 7 days, come back for ex-rays. It cost $172. The exam was $60. $112 for the medicines and cutting her nails. It's been only two days and she is so much better! She was coughing about every hour before. Now it's down to three times a day. For my girl, Mesa, they did a wonderful job!
You should go and see for yourself.

This although very busy is a good clinic and has very good rates. Staff is young and not always as professional as they can be in the front desk , but the assistants who take you back in the room are great with the animals , give you a lot of information and treat the animals so well. The Provider truly cares about the animals and you are able to get in very quickly for appointments when needed. Cost is really good and completely worth using this facility I have recommended it too many family members and friends.

First time here and I like it. I was concern with the reviews but I decided to take my dog here anyway because they offer a free 1st exam to dogs adopted from the animal shelter. I thought that was nice helping animals in their new forever home and we did have a new adopted dog. I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The Dr. Was awesome with our new pup. My Dog was a little nervous and the Dr. Was very patient and kind. I really liked the way he made sure my dog was comfortable talking to him and petting him through the exam. I was very pleased with our experience.

DR. Santiago helped my rescue dog I’d just adopted from Maricopa Animal control, even gave me a wellness exam free of charge for her to ensure her health and well-being following her adoption. She developed kennel cough and got really sick, he gave me the meds she needed to make a full recovery. Will definitely be coming back here.

Dr. Hugo has been the vet for the 6 dogs (Akita Mix, Lab Mix, Pit Mix, Havanese and Siberian Huskies) I've had and have for almost 20 years. He is a wonderful and loving vet. The staff is helpful and their clinic is VERY busy. They take walk-ins and you can schedule appointments. Their lobby is always full of clients and if you have an emergency or are impatient, you can make the decision to turn around and go to different clinic. You should call ahead if you are confused about that. In my experience, they are compassionate and do what they can to help each client so it is a shame so many people have decided to vent and grieve in a google review rather than provide constructive feedback or just face the unfortunate reality that not all pets survive their illnesses.
He treated two of my dogs for Parvo and both of them lived long happy lives. He performed surgery on one of my dogs who was hit by a car and made her paw as good as new. They all received excellent care and my dogs always feel loved here. The people complaining about prices probably have never ever taken their dogs to a vet before. This clinic is very affordable. I just took my dog in for a surgery to remove a blockage in one of my dogs and she is doing well. I will continue bringing in my beloved pets to Dr. Hugo. Thank you to Dr. Hugo and to his kind and helpful staff.

The amount of people who take their pets to this clinic is astronomical! Why would all these people continue to bring their pets here if the vet and staff services weren't great?

I have taken 2 of my dogs to this vet. One was for a droopy eyelid and another was for a heart murmur. Both times we were given the best treatment options and were charged within a reasonable price. This vet clinic is very busy so expect a wait time and have patience. Dr. Hugo and the staff there are friendly and professional. It is clear they love caring for animals and do what they can to do was is in the best interest for the animal. The clinic is a bit stinky, but I guess it's what you would expect from such a busy place. I can't help, but thank them for everything they've done for my dogs. I truly am grateful!

If you dont have time to wait then I would schedule an appointment elsewhere. If it is an emergency then take your dog/cat to an emergency vet clinic. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people who wait until their pets are past the point of no return (so basically dying) and those who dont realize there is a long wait time. Also please take into consideration the service you are receiving along with the price - supplies, utilities, rent, and staff need to be paid unfortunately as much as they would like to they are not a charity.

I've been going to Dr Santis since 99 with my AKC show dogs. He is the best vetinarian in Arizona. His diagnosis and care for animals is always on point. He has affordable prices with high quality care. The staff is professional and courteous. Thank you Dr Santis for everything you have done for my pets.
