Brought my 11 week old mini dachshund into this clinic yesterday, for massive diarrhea. The way that they took control of the situation was very impressive. Staff was amazing, responsive and was willing to answer all of my questions. Doctor evaluated my puppy and gave my the option of whether or not I wanted to move forward with the treatment plan instead of just assuming that I was okay with it and charging me.

Tremendous contributors to local pet/animal care! Each of my visits to this clean & serene hospital have been pleasant, even with circumstances being the opposite. The high level of compassion & care are most appreciated. I consider my experiences with services here excellent, exceeding other resources I’ve encountered. Another notable plus is the reasonable cost, pertaining to needs (especially compared to emergency care) bear in mind no adequate medical facility can, nor should be ”cheap.” I am grateful for the help received each & every time. If you ever have a pet sick on the weekend and you're in Glendale. You may want to try this place. I called many vet offices and was routed to very far urgent care offices with no available appointments. Thankfully this place picked up the phone, my cat is much better. Kind of pricey, but lots cheaper than emergency care.

Used this location for emergency appt for neighbor's cat. Was very pleased w knowledge and professionalism.
Took my cat and am so glad. The Dr is very understanding and caring. Renee the office mgr was the very best I could ask for. Tried to work w me on bill. Listened to me and most important, genuinely cared about my cat. I've been to others in my area. They do not compare at all with this Dr and his staff. Would give 7 stars if I could.
Months later and today I called. They usually pick up fast. I think they were busy so I hung up and planned to call back in a couple of minutes. The Dr called me back within 30 seconds or so. He was aware a call came and wasn't answered. How thoughtful.

I can't stress enough how amazing this vet is. I literally drive across town because i can't trust any other vet to be this amazing. There are extremely reasonable on pricing and they actually care about your pets. Dr. Petcu thank you so much! Your entire team is awesome!

With a heavy heart and great sadness my Furbaby Wookie had to be put down today. Wookie was sick for three weeks we thought he'd recover, but turned out to be severe Autoimmune. We had a great almost 6 years. Much thanks to Western Animal Hospital for all their care and kindness over these past weeks. RIP - 31 March 2015 - 15 October 2023❤

Dr. Petcu saved my dogs life back in 2020. I was given options and offered to apply for care credit. Everything is explained and written in an invoice before you decide. I did not know much about dogs dental health until they explained it to me. My dog ended up having pyometra and I almost lost her. I recently lost my other cavalier spaniel. I went to a near by vet more like a franchise type and they told me my dog had a loose tooth and that’s why she was bleeding in her mouth. They gave me pain meds and antibiotics. Later that evening she died. I have a hard time trusting other vets now and I wish that vet would of been honest with me. It was clear my dog was not ok and definitely not just a loose tooth. I do trust in western animal hospital because they have been honest with me and explain cost. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

Ive been going to Dr.Pectu's office since my baby peanut was a little puppy. That was my first pug and i now have 3 pugs and i live in Arizona City, but i drive all the way to Glendale because they have been so helpful and actually care. They have worked with me to fit around my schedule and any issue ive had, they have always been there. Whether its just advice or fitting us in for something urgent, i know i can always count on Western Amimal Hospital to be there for my babies.

I have been taking my little silkie chicken to Dr Petcu for about 2 1/2 years and I couldn't be happier. I have run into multiple chicken issues with this little one and have had to take her in more than I would like to admit. The Doctor and his staff have been so accommodating to us. He has spent so much time educating me and my boyfriend about proper diet, deworming, broodiness, and infection. He did not try to oversell me on a bunch of chicken tests or meds. I am very happy here and will continue to bring my little Clyde3! Thank you!

little expensive but isn't everybody. I wish it was more about animals than the money but the people here are pretty friendly, with the exception of the vet I'm guessing you going to being a vet rather than the doctor for humans because you don't have to create a social skills whichever is the case here. Communication is really important when it comes to your animals and this doctor just needs a little bit too much on set to be just at to be misinterpreted to be misunderstood so much worry and negative energy that doesn't need to happen if there was better communication. And I'll be finding another vet because I got pet insurance and I sure would like to be have that reimbursement but I just got denied because multiple times no answer from the vet so now I've got to go do it myself in order to get my money This is why we pay for pet insurance people kind of hoping that backed up at least send the records but I guess I'm going down there and getting them myself sending them to insurance company. Thank you very much Western animal hospital. I can stomach pain a little extra but I can't stomach misinformation I'm having to hunt my doctor down for information cuz I'm worried as hell over diagnosed and then when you do talk to that vet God damn try to be a little more friendly and understanding that we're scared to death either like our kids rather than talk to us like we're morons. That's it for me

Honest, clean, friendly. I would say affordable, but pet care is expensive anyway. I've been going to this location all my life, over 30 years. We've always had dogs. From basic shots to emergency care, I've continued to call this place. The doctor's name had his chosen profession in it, kinda funny, Dr. Catalin Petcu. He's super friendly, but also straight forward. His assistant has seemed to be with him forever. They don't seem to waste time. Basic interior and exterior, but the place has been able to manage and offer advice for what I've needed. I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Petcu is an excellent, highly experienced neighborhood vet. Wonderful office staff and surgical assistant Renee, always ready to get you care when needed. Highly recommended after many years of care for my various pets.

I was so pleased at the care and professionalism they provided that I consider it my dogs place now when he needs a vet. The ambient is so soothing and beautiful it gives a zen like feeling, love it!

Needed to unfortunately put down my 16 year old baby the other day, was a Sunday and as such was in a panic and feeling desperate as he was in pain and I was calling everyone to no avail. Called western earlier before they were open so there was no answer. So just when I was feeling completely devastated and heartbroken for not being able !!to stop his pain, the doctor called me and told me he had alot of appointments but to bring him in. He was so compassionate and caring as was the receptionist in the front I was really grateful. Even though the ending was to let him rest eternally, he was no longer hurting and I will always be grateful. Wonderful place

They were wonderful. Very kind, genital and caring with our new adopted Alaskan husky. Unfortunately she came home with ticks and we needed to have her treated immediately, because we haveother pets in the home. They took her in immediately. They were very kind and friendly and respectful to us.
People respond to you the way you treat them. It's a two wY street.

Emergency appointment for my dog. I couldn't miss work. They let me drop him off and come back. Worked with me to keep the bill manageable

Dr. And staff are very caring with all the animals. They are really there for you and will work with you in the care of your pet. I really appreciate them.
