Simon's Restaurant

Ate here because we stayed in the hotel. Service was a bit slow. Took a bit for our drinks and to order our food as well to cash out, though the waitstaff was very friendly and kind.

We got the dark chocolate caramel mousse desert with beet appetizer to start then ate the burger.

Food was very tasty!
Overall experience here was good. I’d come back for convenience but not as first choice.

Came back here a second night and sat in front of the fireplace. Server was very flexible and accommodated us. I was impressed in their emotional awareness to what we needed at our comfort. Last trip I felt they were slow , but I’m realizing that I was expecting in and out hustle service and the ambience and set up is to relax, more fine dining flow.

Wonderful dinner at Simon’s ! It was a Monday night and we had the restaurant to ourselves! Sitting by the fireplace and enjoying watching the snow fall outside ! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! The only downside was I wanted steak for dinner dinner and it was not on the menu that night lol

Five star. Without reserve. Everything for our brunch was outstanding. Triple threat of food, location, and service. Waffles with whipped creme and strawberry were delightful. Homestead breakfast perfectly prepared with cheddar and chive biscuit and delicious bacon and well season home fries. Perfect eggs Benedict with smooth holindaise sauce. Sweet potatoe fries with flavorful sauce was a standout. Scones with honey butter were a perfect treat. Historic, well done interior. Gorgeous views. Nice antique. Five star service.

The team here went above and beyond to take great care of our group of 11. The omelets couldn't have been any better and we're so fluffy with souffle style puffy eggs. Fresh mushrooms and perfectly cooked spinach inside were delicious. I stole a taste of my brother's pancake tower and wow, that was amazing! The Chantilly cream on these awesome buttermilk pancakes made the dish fantastic. Couldn't be more thankful to the excellent cooking and serving team here.

Upscale dining. Incredible and unique flavor profiles with gorgeous presentation! Beer selection was great, too!

Wonderful place to dine at the Homestead Resort! Beautiful dining room and awesome views from the large windows! Breakfast here was great and very cozy with the fireplace going and snow on the ground that enhanced the already beautiful views! Dined here while staying at the Homestead and it was a wonderful experience! Also a nice added amenity they sold wine by the bottle which eliminated the need to go into town and find a place that sold wine. The place had a Happy Hour as well which was also a nice touch!

I can’t believe we skip this restaurant on our first day staying at our hotel @ Homestead Resort.. This is unexpected—is located on the premises of the Resort.. And on our last night search for dinner time we found this .. Surprisingly the food was so unbelievable- so delicious and tasteful..

Would highly recommend. They are just starting a new menu I was lucky enough to sample this weekend. It was expertly crafted. Their new chef is magic. Absolutely delighted.... Thanks again 😊

We decided to eat here before the Ice Castles and we were pleasantly surprised there was no wait for Valentines Day, then it got even better!!!! The wonderful pianist played music from the Greatest Showman, the fireplace was wonderful, the food was wonderful, our waitress was so great and even brought us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries!!! Wish I could post a picture because it was seriously the perfect experience. I highly recommend! I got the Jack Daniel steak 🥩 and the rolls!!! Yeah I could go on and on. Thanks for great service.

The bacon cheeseburger was excellent, very juicy and bacon crispy. Fries were very good too. The Pizookie was divine, we came back several times just for that hot cookie in a skillet with ice cream.

Nice place. The menu is more diverse than what's listed online. They do have a bar of sorts, but in Utah fashion, you must order food in order to sit there 🙂

We all liked our food. Good portions for a reasonable price. I would eat here again.— something for everyone!

My wife and I stopped at the Homestead inn a Sunday Afternoon drive. We had a nice lunch with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. It was quite and pleasant with a piano playing in the background.

I had the Heber Burger. I asked for some Mayo, they have me a garlic aioli. It was pretty darn good. I will go back.

The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere was GREAT if you are looking for a quiet place to talk and enjoy someone's company, then look no further. This place a large enough so that you aren't sitting on top of your neighbor. It was a nice experience.

Our family had a filling and tasty meal at Simon's. We started with the deep fried curds and chipotle artichoke dip and gobbled that right up. My husband had the coffee-crusted short rib special. It was fall off the bone tender and very delicious. I had the fried chicken and it was the perfect balance between moist and crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The kids meals were very generous; our two kids could have easily shared. Oh and let's not forget the homemade rolls. Yum! Our server was very attentive and efficient. I'm really not understanding the hate because we all loved it.

Very nice restaurant. We attended their Christmas brunch and had a great experience. Food was very good, service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

We were nervous about going here with all the varied reviews, but wanted to try the on resort restaurant for the experience- and we are glad we did!

The service was great, the food was amazing, the portion sizes were large, and the prices weren’t really that much higher than others in the area and don’t require any drive time, so we were happy with our experience.

We got the charcuterie (cheese plate) appetizer that others had talked about despite poor reviews. We were very happy! It was filled with a variety of (they said local) fresh cheeses and artisan meats and pickled vegetables and figs just as advertised. It reminded us of other similar plates we had tried from other restaurants.

The rolls were baked in a small pot and tasted very good! The pot is a little gimmick but we thought it was cute.

I got the fried chicken which was delicious! (The breast was a little dry but the rest was mouthwatering and breast I always hard) There were mixed vegetables with broccoli, cauliflower, squash, and carrots- very well seasoned. The mashed potatoes and gravy were some of the best I have had in a long while. Chunks of potato and great texture and flavor.

My mother in law got pot roast and we shared with each other so we got to try more from the menu. There was plenty to share! The pot roast was tender and had a two large portions served with mashed potatoes and gravy and some peas and carrots.

We also tried the doughnut holes for dessert. They were rolled in sugar and drizzled with caramel and topped with whipped cream. They were yummy if you like doughnut holes (not my favorite but my dinner mates gobbled them up).

We wouldn’t hesitate to return here again!

Very good food and service. One night we had the special Crusty Chicken Parmesan and the Shrimp Alfredo and the 2nd night Broiled Salmon and Crusted Halibut. All were very good. They even managed to get the Halibut moist at request. The service was exceptional. And I have eaten in a lot of restaurants.

The food was great! Hot and presentable. It was a short menu, but the quality and prices were fair. I hope this place can get back to a fuller menu and get their fire place started some time soon!

Best burger in Midway and Heber! Have tried the other 'top rated' places and trip advisor lists - no where has a better burger and fries. Get the pakookie too!
