Walt's Roast Beef

My husband and I have been going to this place since we were teens. We moved away for over a decade and finally managed to make it back here to eat a year and a half after we moved back. The food is just as I remember it as a teen. The roast beef is amazing and the fries are cooked fresh to order (always better to order these crispy). The only gripes I have are that it's a bit pricey (fine for an occasional treat) and there are no free refills (even on soda). I would absolutely recommend trying this place out if you love roast beef!

There’s a simplicity to Walt’s that can’t be replicated. You get your sandwich, your fries, and your soda and that’s all you really need for a yummy meal. The portion sizes are ample. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and tasty.

My debit card wouldn't work and the manager gave me my meal for free. I was in shock and grateful because I had two very hungry kids in the car waiting for a couple of roast beef sandwiches. The staff blew me away. They really turned our day around with their kindness. And the sandwiches are always great at Walt's.

When I was there I got two waltz beef jr sandwiches with mayonnaise that was good but that's what they forgot to put on the mayonnaise I like potato salad with mustard and pepper I got two of them and a drink it was very good though thank you.

I've been going here for several years, and have always had good experiences. The food is good. The prices are very reasonable. The employees are friendly.

The food is excellent, the staff were friendly and fast and listened to my order and made it to order. The place was clean and decorated with pictures of local landmarks. If you're tired of burgers and pizza give Walt's a try.

Ok, if you go to Walt's Roast Beef only go to this one. Plus don't get the roast beef. You want a Thanksgiving special. It is one of the best sandwiches you will ever have in your life. It's got fresh lettuce, mayo, cranberry sauce, stuffing and a mound of turkey that is so moist it could be used as a wet wipe.

Roast beef is delicious, fries are great too. The help is super friendly and the place is clean! It even made it into an episode of Family Guy. Seth MacFarlane is a fan!!! I give Walt's Five Stars! Yum!

A RI classic! Walt's is the best roast beef around. Their French fries and onion rings are great. Dine in or take out. They offer beef alternatives also, their Thanksgiving turkey sandwich is amazing.

Good food. Fast service. But ffs, dont go there and try to order a chicken salad sandwich and act surprised when they say they dont have it. It's a roast beef joint. You go there for ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES! 10/10 will go again.

This is the best roast beef sandwiches I ever have and the fries so tasty 😋😋 plus Wednesdays and Fridays they have fish 🐟 and chips and clam chowder 😋😋

I went to get my Mom a gc for Christmas and I was hungry. Ordered a pastrami sandwich and OMG! Literally the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. I'm hooked!

Great location. Order ahead and have no wait, plus there is fish and chips on Wednesday and Fridays too. The roast beef is always great.

Here is what to get on the menu. The fish and chips, the roast beef, the ham and cheese, the grilled cheese, the French fries, and the baked beans. The sraff is super quick and very friendly.
