Seekonk Animal Shelter

I've been trying to adopt for a while but the red tape other places demand before even seeing the pets is ludicrous. Like demanding a tour of my home. Or not allowing me to adopt just 1 pet. I found this place through scruffy paws and I called to set up an appointment.

The 1st thing I noticed when I walked in was how well clean and organized this place was. They provided me with treats to bond with the cats so I could take my time and select the cat I got along with the best. The staff were all polite and knowledgeable and encouraged me to reach out after adoption if I had any questions. Great experience.

After having difficulty adopting a cat in my area, I was suggested this place by a volunteer. I went on a whim one day after work and found my furever best friend! The adoption process is quick usually...This place is great, I love how small it is & how the kitties free roam. This review is also for Natalie....my mom & I come by often and we love talking to her just as much as we love playing with the cats. Natalie is great at her job, knows her stuff, & is very personable. She was also very patient with me and my endless amount of questions...thanks, Natalie lol!

They are very honest & upfront during the whole adoption process which I appreciate since I am a first time cat owner. Please come here if you are considering adopting an animal or volunteering, this place is pretty awesome.

Despite being very busy the staff and volunteers are diligent about reviewing applications and checking references. Very impressed both with their caring attitude and their commitment to making sure these animals go to responsible owners.

Great staff and volunteers! Considering how small the Shelter is, the team manages to take wonderful care of the animals and get them adopted quickly!

Always fast-acting and kind whenever there is an animal lost in the area. I've dealt with them a lot and couldn't have had a better experience :)

The lady at the desk is a captial C U N T , theyre no help and she threatened i wouldnt get my dog back unless i spelt my name correctly and that it was my moms name as owner and not mine. She needs an attitude check i called 4 times with mesaages before MY MAIL MAN TOLD ME SHE HAD HIM . for an hour and a half , she needs to be fired or yall need new workers that care and dont have attitudes whsn answering phones for nervous pet owners looking for their dogs
