Possibly the best breakfast I had throughout my road trip. Truly home-made hearty food. I had a 3-egg omelette with a side hash browns that was the size of my head. The toast wasn’t exactly “toasted” but was still fresh and delicious.

The coffee was also good.

The surprise was their giant cinnamon roll I carried out (which I recommend that you eat warm right away). Hands-down the best cinnamon roll I have ever had in my life.

I do wanted to have lunch here on my way back but unfortunately they were closed.

Service was friendly and my cup of coffee was kept hot and full on a cold morning.

Stopped here while on our way through based on great reviews. This place didn’t disappoint! Large portions and great service. Waitresses were pleasant and cheerful. If you go away hungry it’s your own fault! Three of us got different items, veggie scramble, 3 egg ham and cheese omelette and the chicken fried steak. All yummy! Definitely will stop here again on another trip. Tip: if you are in an RV or trailer there is a dirt lot behind the building for parking.

What a nice little Café. Great prices and the service was great. I had the ham & eggs with hashbrowns and sour dough toast, my husband had an omelet with ham, bacon & sausage. Just a heads up on the meat for the omelets. They charge you $2.99 extra for the meat. It was worth every penny spent.

While traveling Route 66 this little gem is a must. It is off the beaten path but well worth the 5 miles. You will definitely not be hungry when you leave.

Small town breakfast nook. The food was hot and plenty. I enjoyed the omelette and coffee. Prices are fair and reasonable. I liked the staff and the the atmosphere. I will be coming back for more!

Delicious food and great service. The establishment was clean and customer friendly. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Public restrooms with a bar area for seating. Card and cash accepted. You get a lot of food for your money and I definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy.

Driving from Las Vegas to Phoenix and needed to feed the kids. Searched on Yelp for a good place to get breakfast. GK was the top result. We made the five minute drive off the freeway to try it out. It was for sure worth the detour and we will be back. I dont have any pictures of the dish when it came from the kitchen just the aftermath.

This mom and pops restaurant has the best chicken fired steak. The aware that the portions are Huge. The waitresses are nice and the place is clean. I had the oatmeal.

Anyone not giving 5 stars, or 4 at a minimum, has something else goin on. In an age where most things look better than they taste, Grandpas Kitchen is a refreshing oasis.

Steak, eggs, and crispy home fries. Keep it cool, Grandpa!

Grandpa's Kitchen is amazing! If you are like me and visiting from Australia or any other country outside the U.S. this is what you are looking for if you want to see the real America. Great food at low prices and friendly service. I had never tried biscuits and gravy before and they were delicious in my opinion. I actually planned a good portion of our trip around this place after finding it on Google and I am so glad I did.
Can't wait to visit again someday!

Anything you order is delicious. The waitresses were very nice. Took the order correctly and gave us what we needed. I got their special for Thursday on the white board. It was chicken bacon ranch wrap with potato soup and coffee. It was good.

Really good food and service. Worth the drive if you’re in the area. Support the local community. Now we know where to come next tine. Wish I could share some pics. Chicken fried chicken breakfast and homemade pistachio cream pie to go. Left satisfied. Get there before 1 they close at 2 ; breakfast and lunch served.

Great Breakfast, you get 4 pieces of bacon, instead of two from major restaurants,eggs very fresh yolks are orange large servings of hashbrowns and the coffee is very good, hot and keeps coming, that's why, all the Five Stars. This is my new place to go for breakfast. Next meal is lunch. If anything like there breakfast, we'll, why go anywhere else. Great,hardy breakfast fresh and very tasty, compli.ents to there chef.

Great place to go for breakfast. I travel all over the country for work. And this place is a little bit off the main interstate but definitely worth the little detour. Highly, HIGHLY recommend if traveling to stop by and give it a go. Espically for breakfast.

Loved it! Good food- large portions. Service is good. Don't expect a welcome or a hello when you walk in, self seating. It's worth the out of the way drive.

Great food, Great service. First time for us and everything was awesome omelettes, Biquits and gravy, everything we had puts other restaurants to shame....Kudos to Grandpa's kitchen no change needed, YUM!
