Veterinary Services of Pawtucket

My dog has found her new Vet.! It's very hard to find a new vet these days, especially a good one. Most wouldn't give me an appointment for months, January!!!! Well when I called, concerned about my new puppy, I was told that they were booked also, but bring her in at noon and the Doc would see her. Well she gave her an excellent physical, gave her special prescription dog food and antibiotics, but all on her lunch break! I highly recommend this place! Byrdie won't be seeing anyone else!

The vet is wonderful! I saw a lot of reviews saying she is rude, she is not. It is very clear how much she loves and cares for animals. I don’t think humans are her thing, hence why she’s a vet. When speaking to people she is not “being rude” on purpose, it’s her demeanor. She is super knowledgeable about the animals and will ALWAYS make time to see a pet in an emergency. I send everyone I know to her!

The Vet is honest and straight forward with you. She will give you options. Sometimes it's hard to hear the truth but she is a straight shooter. That goes for if you aren't doing the right things as a pet owner. I have been going here for years. I 100% trust her and know she is giving me the right advice. She doesn't charge as much for her services because she wants the animal to get the help they need. She loves animals and wants the best for them.

I am rating my experience with a phone call. I called this clinic to ask for information to obtain a health certificate. The person on the phone told me they don't provide it, but was quick to point me in the right direction, which was much appreciated.

This woman is extremely knowledgeable, she has been great to us. I’ve needed help in a pinch twice with my new kitten that we’ve had nothing but issues with and she has squeezed us in. She’s very up front, to the point and doesn’t waste anyone’s time which I like because I have no extra time I have children.

I wasn’t looking for a vet to sweet talk and coddle me, I was looking for a knowledgeable vet that knows how to do her job and is efficient and straight to the point that’s exactly what she does.

Customer service was excellent. Even though they couldn't provide the service I needed done,she recommended me to a place that was too amazing. Took me in right away as a new client.

Great knowledgeable Vet! Have never had an issue at all. Always willing to help in anyway she possibly can. Over the years have had a few last minute emergency calls to her for last minute appointment and is always willing to take an animal in at the last minute with no issues. A few of my family members also use Dr. Langford for her services for there animals. Highly recommended!

The Dr is very professional, she explain everything about you Dog.

I needed to have my Black (Dog) put to sleep due to his illness. The staff were kind,Caring,Respectful. The Veterinarian was extremely kind and caring. She answered all my questions pertaining to what was to happen to my four legged beloved friend. She was so understanding. After my dog passed away she let me stay with him as long as I wanted. A TRUE HUMANITARIAN. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS. I AM FOREVER THANKFUL.

My dog was in need of urgent care and I was able to bring her in right away. She received fast but thorough care and we left the clinic with easy to understand directions on how to care for our dog. I think we've found our new vet!

Had a very sick family kitty who needed to be seen ASAP, and although they were closed, Dr took her in and examined her. Rita our kitty, had cancer, and although the outcome of our kittie's visit wasn't what we wanted for her, it was the right thing to do, as she was suffering and in pain. This review is a long time coming since I have been going to PVS with all my pets for 13 years and I trust the staff implicitly. Whether it be yearly vaccines, injuries, illness or the unfortunate death of a pet, Dr. Langford and her staff always have what is best for my pet in mind when applying treatments or suggesting care. They have never turned away my most difficult/ down right mean cat and always partnered with me on continuing care with difficult illnesses.
Dr Langford has an amazing way with animals but will mince no words if she feels I could do more or something differnt to improve my pets quality of life. The prices are very reasonable and they adhere to a less is more mentality.

The reason I have posted this now is because an hour ago I witness a client berate and use a continuous stream of accusitory and sexist explitives directed at the Doctor and her assistant and finally directed at me when I attempted to understand the situation. All the while, Dr. Langford and her assistant kept their cool until the client and his very nervous dog left. The staff then proceeded with my appointment with the utmost professionalism and kindness towards my less than cooperative cat.

Pawtucket veterinary services will provide the best standard care for any pet and will partner with you and surrounding vet hospitals for anything that they can’t provide. Their follow up is remarkable if you do have to go elsewhere for X-rays or other treatment. Dr. Langford has often called me with blood test results or other follow ups on her days off.

They are beyond wonderful.

I love the vet, she is very knowledgable and straight shooter about my dogs health, she is not afraid to handle my dogs breed and she is always looking out for the health of my dog. I love her as my dog's vet, I have two dogs and they have always been well taken care by her.

They did a great job, though I was not able to go in with my cat because of COVID-19. Price was less then other place I used to go and they were very polite.

My dog Finn absolutely loves his Vet! Its always a pleasant experience when he has to go. Which hasnt been the case with other vets!
