I have been to many vets over the years, the team at VCA are, hands down the best team I have ever had support my animals - and me! Their compassionate support and professional guidance, along with their commitment to being available in every situation is remarkable. My highest regards and gratitude. Most compassionate staff of veterinary professionals. So glad we switched veterinarians. VCA Povar in Riverside not only provides excellent veterinary care to our babies they also have exceptional customer service. They make us feel safe and comfortable trusting our love ones into their care. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our old man but VCA tried their best and were supportive of our journey and helped us keep our big boy comfortable and at home prior to letting him go. They sent out family the most heartfelt sympathy card with personal notes from the staff. We continue to bring our girl to main her health and wellness needs.

Povar Animal Hospital got us in quickly when my cat needed them. They were on time and super nice and thorough. Althiugh it was expensive, I guess you get what you pay for so I wouldnt want to go cheap for kitty's medical care. Thank you Povar

Dr. Pyun and the entire VCA staff have given us years extra with our most special Boston Terrier, Sammy. We have always followed her advice and she has never steered us wrong.

Great place! The staff is warm and kind and eager to help! The place is clean and welcoming! The care we received for our dog has been amazing. I am so happy to have found this animal hospital.

Great people! My dog actually likes it there even though he's usually there for something a bit unpleasant. I just wish they had better same day/next day appointment availability for mild ailments.

We love this animal hospital! We have a 1yo bluenose pitbull puppy and she has gone for several checkups and a few sick appointments here already. The staff is ALWAYS kind and helpful, often going the extra mile. I always get a call or a text from someone to check in on our furbaby the day after an appointment, which is really sweet. The receptionists, vet techs, and doctors are always professional and reassuring; I'm an anxious first-time dog mom and they have been instrumental in keeping our pup happy and healthy without making us feel like we're totally screwing our dog up. She doesn't even mind going in because she knows she's going to get pets and lots of peanut butter to hold still :)

I come here for my dogs and all the staff is amazing and sweet and seems to really love animals. They don't seem judgemental and they give my dogs the best care. Doctor Casey we personally see and she's amazing. Someone's we book in with other vets and they're just as great. Will keep going here for as long as we can. They did amazing procedures also.

The staff here are all phenomenal. We take all of our dogs here just for the peace of mind of knowing they’re in great hands. They love our pups like they’re their own.

Been going there for our cat NINJA for a while, great people and great service. Especially the last visit where they showed us a great deal of concern and sympathy (namely Dr: Casey)for our beloved NINJA where he was terminally ill. They were very supportive and passionate.

Very communicative and accommodating vet office. Staff was sweet and had good senses of humor, and they have a national service (Americorps)/Veterans discount which was greatly appreciated!

Vet and staff were great at handling my cat, and I liked that they had entirely separate areas for cats and dogs to wait to keep my cat feeling more comfortable. They also had separate rooms to avoid stressful smells, and they treat the cat room with Feliway to make them feel even more relaxed. Fortunately, my cat is very very chill most of the time so she's managed at other vets who don't go that extra mile, but I can tell that she's happier and more comfortable in places that take these extra steps.

I would highly recommend this vet to other cat owners, and extrapolating from there, other pet owners of all kinds.

I definitely recommend taking your pet here. The vet techs are so accommodating and friendly (especially Tayla C) They are so helpful and patient!

This place is great to take your special pet for a great care. I had mix chihuahua, she had heart problem and then developed some lump. At that time she was 15 yrs old and needed surgery to remove the lump. I will said the amazing job they did. The surgery was a success, I will said I was amazed that the incision area you couldn't even notice that she had surgery. With everything my little one was with us until her 17 yrs of age. And how the doctor said she was a feisty old lady. Now I have a nother one, that decided to keep taking her at VCA Povar to be taking care with the amazing staff they have. Now the doctor is taking care a dramatic one.

I had never been here before today, but they treated me like a long-standing client. I came to Povar today to put my sweet cat to sleep.
Not only were they professional and following strict covid safety protocol, but they couldn't have been more kind and comforting.
From the initial scheduling phone call all the way to my car on the way out, I was taken care of with such grace and true compassion.
The process itself, as unpleasant as it is, was made as easy and painless as possible for both me and my sweet kitty.
Even when my credit card was declined, they were willing to work with me to figure out a plan.
The entire visit was over within an hour and one of the techs even helped me carry everything to my car.
I have never has such a wonderful experience at a vets office, let alone in this scenario.
I highly recommend this office for the quality of staff alone.

Forst time appointment they were very accomidating and offer a forst time vist for free just vist the website i couldnt reccommend them enough! Offer is also peanut free or the areas we were in which was an extra reift as i had my childnin toe and she will go right into anaphylactic shook upon a peanut treat bag opening into the air.

Couldn't ask for a better animal hospital. Everyone there is so kind and friendly especially to our 4 legged family members. They are great with fitting in animals who have emergencies as well as with rescheduling. They are so accommodating. They love our pets like they're part of the family!

They were able to see my cat when he was having an emergency and my regular vet couldn't see him. He is doing much better now thanks to the staff's care!

Absolutely amazing. I desperately needed a Vet appointment and I called every vet in the area and no one could fit me in for weeks however VCA Povar had an opening and saw us the same day. Everyone in the office was wonderful from the front desk attendant to the vet tech and Dr. Goslin. My Uber driver got lost on the way and I was unfortunately late for my appointment and they still saw me right away when I arrived. It was such a positive experience for both myself and my pet. They were very gentle and loving with my cat and gave me all the information about pricing and got me set up for the Care club. Highly recommend, I will be back. Thank you again.
