St. Joseph Cemetery

Absolutely disgusted by this cemetery, my family went to bury my uncle today and were told " if the family stays longer than 30 minutes from the time we entered their gates, the family will be charged extra money". I'm sorry but is a cemetery not open to the public for as long as they want to spend time with their deceased family members?! That is absurd and disgusting and you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for telling grieving family that.

This cemetery, while i will admit, is immaculate on it's cleaning, takes it just a little to far to a point, My father passed away very recently, due to the style in which the tombstone is to be crafted, it is taking longer then expected, so in place, my mother, brother, and myself, constructed a small plaque if you will, something as a place for him, because let's be honest, nothing to mark the place of your important loved one would bother anyone. Upon their last "sweep" the cemetery threw out this plaque, which need i mind was in no place in the way of the grass or anything else, it was resting on a asphalt strip, which they just took and threw away. The only thing more upsetting then the fact that it was thrown away, it had to be the day of my mother's birthday, so upset it more so. If you value having the luxury of wanting to honor your losses, i highly suggest to find another cemetery, because the processes and procedures that this one runs by, clearly is devoid of human compassion, understanding and respect, in the end they are just doing their job, they don't care about your loved ones, why should they right? It's not theirs, it would be different at that point to them. Utterly and completely disrespectful cemetery, this is suppose to be a religion based one.
