Bristol County Veterinary Hospital

I really appreciated the kindness Bristol County Veterinary Hospital showed me on what was one of the worst days of my life. My 4 1/2 year old cat got very sick within the span of a few days. I called for an appointment early in the morning. They got back to me very quickly and got me in to see the vet. I learned that my cat had a tumor. I was shocked and devastated. They were so kind to me and my cat, Roma, and patient in my grief. And, they did their best to help me understand what was happening. Roma needed a specialist so they called around and sent me to Ocean State Emergency Veterinary Hospital in East Greenwich, RI. My poor Roma had to be put to sleep. Thank you to the doctor and technician who were so compassionate in my grief. I would highly recommend Bristol County.

My dog Jackson has had non-stop stomach issues since the day I rescued him in February 2023. At first it was thought to be a tough case of parasites that didn’t want to go away. The original veterinarian I was bringing him to (also in Seekonk) was a great doctor, but it was so difficult to get an actual appointment to see him. The front staff at this other office was also typically rude, and after dropping off the 10th fecal sample in a 3 month period + an emergency room visit, I had enough. I’m so glad I called Bristol County when I did. They fit me in next day and I’ve met with Dr. Sims here many times since then. Dr. Sims is so caring and understood I was frustrated with the lack of answers or lack of attempt to resolve his underlying issues. She quickly started multiple different treatment plans and always called/followed up when she said she would! We ended up needing a referral to Tufts for internal medicine because Dr. Sims went down every possible path for resolution. I can’t thank her or the staff at BCVH enough for always being quick to act and help during the stressful times of my dog’s health issues. Everyone at BCVH is extremely kind and I trust them 100% with the care of my dog. I even transferred my cat’s routine care to them because of how excellent my experiences have been.

We brought our rescue puppy here to Bristol County the other day for her first checkup and everyone was great. Our pup is still very young and does not have much social interaction experience outside of her siblings and they were very patient, caring and understanding. They are surely our vet from here on out

Adopted our dog Bowie from a shelter. We were looking for a vet. From the start BCV were very nice and helpful. They took good care of my big boy. Going for his follow up soon with them. Highly recommend

Awesome veterinarian facility that treats my sonz (two male Bichon Fris dogs) with patience , non-threatening interaction, and great medical care during each visit. Iam thankful for the great team .

Dr.Simms and the tech were amazing with my dog. I called for an emergency visit, was seen the same day and my dog was checked out head to toe. Luckily, I was reassured that he was fine and all my questions were answered.

Great experience with my new puppy. He had so much fun despite getting 2 shots, they made it enjoyable for him and they explained all the shots and costs to me beforehand which was nice so i got to choose what we wanted.

I can not stay enough great things about Bristol County Vet. They are very timely on all appointments, I have never had to wait past my appt. time. After I adopted my Dog, Gus, They answered all my new dog mom questions, provided me with hand outs of Vet recommended items (i.e flea tick med., dog toothpaste, foods, and pet insurance, etc.). After my dog got his shots, they even called the day after to check in on him to make sure he was okay. Additionally, my dog sadly had to go to an emergency vet due to being attacked by another dog. Immediately after Bristol County Vet received his x-rays from the emergency vet, they immediately called me to check on Gus, see if I needed anything, and check in on how I was doing. Needless to say they go above and beyond for their clients, and truly care! I could not recommend them enough!

I’ve always had a great experience at Bristol county vet. This previous week was no exception. I was suspecting my dog was having CHF, and when I called they immediately put her into the schedule for chest X-rays. Within 2 hours they confirmed my suspicion and stabilized her before I could take her to the ER (OSVS) in East Greenwich. Their communications with me are top-notch. I am grateful for Dr. Andrade for checking in on me and my pup after a weekend stay at the ER. I’ve called a few times with questions and have gotten quick responses each time. Kudos to the staff at Bristol County Vet.

Been coming here for 12 years with multiple dogs. They’ve been great. Dr. Ripp is very thorough, kind and personable. So is everyone else that works there.

I tried for months and months to get into other places near my home. No one could be bothered didn't feel anything was serious enough. Long story short, my little furball was seen and within a week booked for surgery to remove a tumor in his mouth and his teeth removed. I am grateful 💕

I trust the card my dog receives here. The staff have always been caring , professional and very friendly. I have been going to Bristol county Vet for the last 20 years . That is a testament to care they provide. Thank you for all that you do for pet owners and their pets

We’ve been customers for 30 years and have never been disappointed. They have provided great and timely care of our cats and dogs. Great Doctors and amazing staff that will patiently answer all questions and concerns.

Had my first visit with my dog, Draco, and the vet and the vet tech were awesome. They were both very gentle and kind.

I contacted Bristol County Veterinary Hospital because my goldendoodle was having discharge from his eye. My previous vet was not able to prescribe any medications for my dog and told me to just clean his eye everyday. This ended up irritating his eye. I called Bristol County Veterinary Hospital and they were able to schedule me the following day. The facility was very clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Megan Salgueiro was amazing! And prescribed me a medication that has helped my dog. I am so happy that I reached out to them and I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for knowledgeable, caring vets. Prices are also reasonable. This is the only place where I will be taking my pets moving forward. I am very satisfied with the experience and my dog is doing so much better! 💓 Thank you Bristol County Veterinary Hospital, Jayde, and Dr. Salgueiro!

I've found Bristol County Veterinary Hospital to be the best around. The staff are caring for my cats and dog and are extremely responsive when necessary. I've tried other vet facilities in the area but always come back to Bristol County.

Always exceptional care here! The whole staff is so friendly, caring and knowledgable. Dr. Schenck and tech Riley are so patient and kind with my nervous pup. The staff have all been so great about fitting me in same day if I’ve needed it. Highly recommend bringing your pet here, you’ll be in great hands!

Quiet and clean environment. As a new dog mom, I felt welcomed by the entire staff. They were hands on and loving towards my puppy and made me feel comfortable about the little things I was worried about. They answered all my questions and explained the game plan for my puppy's vaccines, neutering, heart worm and flea/tick medication. Gave me some peace of mind going in there knowing that my pup is in good hands.

Great experience with dental care surgery. Everything worked out well for my little sweety. Front desk is exceptional, the ladies make sure you get everything you need. The techs are with you and answer all questions and support your needs as well as your dogs. Love this place.

I have brought my cats to Bristol County Veterinary Hospital since the early 2000's....and I have always been treated kindly, promptly, professionally. I have only the highest praise for the service there. My kitties appreciate them, too.
