I felt like good Chinese food and this place looked good. Friendly owner took my order I had beef teriyaki and shrimp fried rice. The beef teriyaki was some of the best I ever had, the shrimp fried rice was good but I like my shrimp cooked little more for a better crunch not bad just a preference issue. Will be back to try other things

Clean, more of a modern style restaurant. Plenty of tables in the front with a bar in the back. Everyone was friendly. I have been a handful of times now and have been extremely happy with the food and service. The food is that old school New England Polynesian style with perfect seasoning. Some of the amazing things I've had to start with is the hot and sour soup. Nice complex flavors, full of the good stuff like mushrooms and tofu, with just the right kick to finish it off. Egg rolls have a delicious mixture of pork, celery and cabbage. The flavors are done right. Very much recommended. Teriyaki is absolutely delicious and tender, same with the ribs. The wings had a nice crisp and were juicy. The shrimp with lobster sauce is absolutely amazing. Perfect consistency, savory, with flavors of garlic and a hint of sweetness. The shrimp are large, plentiful and cooked perfectly. I get the pork fried rice without onions. Rice had plenty of pork and was very good. I also very much recommend the Peking raviolis. Overall, really good Chinese food, friendly staff and chocolate fortune cookies!

I have been coming here I believe just 30 years now. This is beef chow foon noodles. Sorry I had some before I decided to take the picture because it tasted so good.. I highly recommend the crab rangoons the beef chalfoon the sizzling seafood platter and of course they're mai Tai s cocktails. Great TVs too if you want to watch our great Boston sports teams.

This place is amazing. The food is great! My husband and I combine have allergies to gluten shellfish and dairy and haven’t been able to have Chinese food in years. When I called to ask about their gluten free offerings the guy on the phone was so knowledgeable, he knew about allergies and explained there whole process! Can’t believe we were able to enjoy Chinese food again and feel safe because of their knowledge and friendly staff. Will be back again soon!

My girlfriend and I were looking for gluten free Chinese food and honestly she hadn't been able to have any for 12 years, this place is the best!!! You wouldn't realize the difference. Legit got take out every Friday for a month and continue to make the 30 minute drive often. So lucky we found this gem. Funny thing is we found it headed to PF Chang's at Legacy which was being converted to another restaurant, so we searched again and she read a few reviews and decided we needed to try this place out.

I haven’t had anything remotely close to Chinese food in 6 years.
Fantastic service. Quick and so kind. The food alone is 5 stars. However the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms was great. Food was delicious we drove an hour to get here and we plan to do it again soon!

Love this place!! Stepped up Chinese food at it's finest! Been frequenting here for over 30 years. Have NEVER had a bad experience or meal here. Nothing around comes close to the quality and selection. Jay makes a great Mai Tai!! Love the new bar!

This is my favorite Chinese food place. Everything is great but we particularly like the General Gau's Chicken here. Always crispy amd bot too much. My kids love their chicken wings. They also do an amazing job with Gluten Free options. Almost every menu item can be made gluten free. Mai Tais are great too and you can order them to go.

Amazing, if not the best Chinese restaurant in MA. It is one place I will always go back to when I visit.

What a great find! We ordered General Gau's Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein. Both were delicious and delivered quickly to our table. The staff went over and above in their greeting and seating and were always around to answer questions and serve. With a cozy and upscale atmosphere, we definitely recommend and will absolutely return in the future.

I have celiac disease, and they offer so many gluten-free offers. They use wheat free soy sauce and cook it up fresh. Been going here for months and have no issues. Wait staff are so friendly and quick. Food is really good.

My mom and I were coming home from Foxwoods and stopped here for a quick lunch! I have celiac and needed to find a good gluten free meal. This place did not disappoint!!!!! I got the gluten free fried rice and. Fried chicken wings!!! They were sooo good!!! Definitely will be coming back!

Amazing place! Staff is amazing. Food is outstanding!! I ordered and got my food fast. The staff were kind and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend 10/10!!

I’m from Boston. I haven’t found a restaurant between the South Shore and Norfolk County areas in over 6 years until tonight!!! This was my first time here via a close family member’s recommendation… I had the tidbit that included boneless ribs, chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, and chicken wings. If a restaurant can get these items right… I am confident everything else is top tier as well! I highly recommend and definitely WILL be returning! Great job Cheng-Du!!!!

Easily some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The Yu-Hsiang eggplant was absolutely delicious. My kiddo got the chicken fried rice, and that was phenomenal, too. The waiter was great, and the food came out so quickly. I hope to be in town again sometime so I can come back here.

Fair prices, amazing food, (best Chinese food in town by far....) Nice atmosphere, certainly an A-1 place for a date with the love of your life!!!! Oh and very, very clean restrooms!!!!!!

It's also not heavy in your stomach like some Chinese food can be. We've never waited for a table and the service is great.

Always have a great meal here. Never a complaint. We ordered ahead for Christmas eve and it was easy and they were very kind and helpful. I'm sure they were slammed. At pick up my husband said it was packed. But they had a good system of calling to let you know when your order was ready. I think with huge orders they couldn't have their usual 5 star food quality or flavor. But I'd say a solid 4-4.5. Not disappointed. If they are still good with that crowd I'd call that's great.
