Bay State Pet & Garden Supply

This place has been our favorite spot for years to get a tree, and also for pumpkins! The Staff is always super nice, they've even let my dog join in on the fun before. This year they had the grinch (who totally scared my son and made my hubby laugh) and a hot cocoa station that my daughter loved.

At one point I had a tough experience here however today and as of late the services and experience have been great. New staff have made a great difference. If you need pet food or supplies this is the place.

I love this place. Great service. I live in Barrington Rhode Island, I will not go to any other store. They will see me every weekend. They also delivered my chicken coop and they did a fantastic job.

We were on the yearly Christmas tree hunt and had already gone to two other places and they either had no selection or the prices were outrageous. We were nearby and decided to try bay state pet and garden, they had a great selection of beautiful trees of all sizes the service was great and the worker were very helpful. after we found the the perfect tree the worker wrapped in and loaded it into the truck. overal we were very pleased with our experience and will be coming back for years to come.

Very welcoming with lots to look at for your pet. Christmas cookies and doggie coats, foods, treats, toys etc. We went for a Christmas tree and wreath and got them with plenty of help from staff. They wrapped it and put it in yhe car for us. Dogs allowed in store. Other feed available , as well. Cheerily set up for holiday, neat and clean. Plenty of parking, including handicapped accessibility. There was plenty more to look at, so enjoy!

Only local place to carry blue seal naturals 26 dog food. good assortment of harder to find natural items. staff willing to help with heavy items. I really appreciate it.

I have been going to Bay State for years. Everyone is always so knowledgeable about their product. They are always ready to answer a question in regards to nutrition or suggest product that would work in your benefit. If they don't carry it, and they can obtain what you're looking for, they are always willing to get it. They are always professional, fully stocked, and aware. Their business is well run and they are always updating and providing educational events for their community. Wonderful business!

We visited Bay State today. Looking for a birthday cake for our pup. While we were there we asked for advice on a good food for our pups. They were awesome, extremely knowledgeable and personable. Even sent a gift for our pup who is 14 tomorrow. Shelves were well stocked. Definately will be back.

Traveled a bit of distance to come here for the first time tonight. They were the only store that had a specific puppy food i needed. (Which was on sale btw, double win) but they just gained a long time customer. Unfortunately i didn't get the young kids name, but he was incredibly professional and kind. I've worked in customer service for many years, and this kid nailed it. Engaged to see if i needed anything, showed me exactly where the product was, built rapport and then went above & beyound And found me, to let me know there was a larger size in stock if i wanted. Then i was helped at checkout, educated on their store and info on sales. I left in a better mood than i came in with. In a currently dark world where people just care about their check in the end, it's awesome to see people care about their POE and other people. Great job Bay state!

This was my first time shopping here at Bay State Pet and Garden Supply
They have a wide variety of products for all small to large livestock and pets. After finishing our shopping inside the store we were loading up the car and realized that we did not look in the outside garden area.We then went back in and did more shopping in the outside garden area. We found a few perennials that caught our eye and are already planted in our flower beds.They have the special items that you just can't find at the big box stores. Put it on your list to stop by there when in the area. Hopefully you too will enjoy shopping there.

I really love coming to this store. Super helpful staff that really go out of their way to help their customers. Most recently, I was heading out of town and realized I was out of dog food and wouldn't make it in time before they closed. I asked if I could pay over the phone and they could just leave it outside in a bag and I would pick it up on my way home but one of the guys working there actually delivered to my house on his way home! So above and beyond. And they even left a little toy for my dog--he loved it :)

I started buying all my feed and grain here a few years ago. The staff are amazing. Very helpful! Prices are amazing and the hay is the best around! Everyone is always wearing masks! When the pandemic first started they implemented curbside. This was God sent for me because I was working with covid patients! So I was able to get what I needed without worrying!

One of my favorite places to go for pet food and garden supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My garden would not have been such a success last year if it wasn't for the staff at Bay State they had what I needed reasonably priced and some of the tips that I received from the staff were priceless. Great selection for all types of pets. I have been able to get needed items for my dogs, rabbit and horse. I love having a place like this so close by.

Everyone was exceptionally thoughtful in the store. They assisted me locate items I needed that I had no indication they even sold there and helped me get items I didn't know I even needed but they helped point out the use and they were so knowledgeable and knew just what I needed and understood my particular situation and made sure to recommend the best possible solution or item for my needs. Also, I've been looking for a new brand of wet dog food for my dog and want something comparable to what he's been eating and they helped me with more options than I even knew existed. I can't stress enough how much they all seemed so extremely knowledgeable and about such a variety of items situations and or elements for in or around the house and yard. If one didn't know the answer to a particular question might've had, they would be sure to point me in the direction of who would. They all did an incredible job of helping me out! The girls went out of their way when I needed something to clean the mess my dog made on the floor. I was concerned and didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor and wanted to clean it right away. They retrieved some cleaning products for me right away. The situation was embarrassing for me, but they didn't make me feel bad at all. Before I finally went to leave, my dog had drunk all his water so I went back in to ask if they sold bottles of water and the gentleman, Chris, helped me out telling me I didn't have to worry about buying a bottle of water for your dog, I'll help you out. He went outside and led me right to their water spigot warning me the water would come out fast with a lot of pressure. That was so nice he went the extra mile to help me fill my dog's water bottle back up for me. All the employees here went above and beyond what I'm used to when going out to any retail store these days. I will continue to drive out of my way to go back to this store and look forward to the spring flowers and know they'll all be helpful and share their knowledge when assisting me to pick out just the right ones for me and my home. I can't thank them all enough and I'm so sorry for not getting all their names to give them all the credit they deserve for all they did for me. Do yourself a favor and check this store out you will be absolutely amazed at everything they offer here! Thank you again to all of the Saturday early afternoon staff you were all great!!

Always very helpful! I wasn't aware that the particular Round Up product I'd used to kill grass and weeds wouldn't be safe to use around the base of a tree (unless I didn't mind damaging and potentially killing it). Good thing, there was someone that pointed that out for me before I used it around my aunt's young white birch tree. Thank you

Was driving by and happened to go in. Nice store with helpful employees. Plenty of variety of items for dogs, cats, and birds. I didn’t look in the other sections. Can order your stuff online too!

This place has incredible, professional customer service. The minute you walk in the door they ask if you need assistance. Any questions I have they always find an answer whether it is regarding dynamics of a certain horse food or a random question about goats! Prices are very fair and they have just about everything you could be in search of for pet needs or farm supplies. Very organized and clean store. 5 stars and more!

Very friendly staff. Jasmine was most helpful in locating the items I needed. They had a little of everything so it can be one one stop shop for your pet needs.

Very fantastic place for gardening, I managed to get all my fox farm supplies to begin my gardening season. They have everything from hydroponics needs to your everyday Vegetable gardening needs. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves gardening.

Got my first ever chicks from them yesterday. The Chicks all seem very healthy. They were very helpful and had a great curbside pick up to help keep social distance. Would definitely recommend shopping here and I definitely will.
