I just recently lost my dog from the moment my son and husband rushed her in they where nothing but amazing. My dog unfortunately didn't make it 😕 but they did everything they could to save her. And well they offered the best service for cremation. I elected if course to keep my baby's ashes and the urn the paw prints and the staff does a little something more hopefully none of you have to experience that part of their great care but throughout my years in this neighborhood they have been right here for our family nothing but great TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

The staff here were very knowledgeable and the pricing was extremely reasonable. I brought in a first time patient and will definitely go here again if further medical care is needed.

Amazing. We rescued a stray cat and everyone there was helpful finding out all of his issue and helping us get him the surgery he needed to remove an infection and growths in his mouth. They saved the little guys life and now he is happy and healthy. I love everyone there, they are all so sweat and helpful from the time you book your appointment to the time you leave.

Very caring and dedicated staff. They take great care of your pets at fair prices. They even helped me apply for care credit to help with the cost. My dog got an infection and she was back to her normal self in no time.

Dr. Houser and her staff are amazing. I have been taking my pets there for 30 years!!!!

VCA Phoenix West is the BEST! They are a small animal hospital with the biggest hearts. When our Dachshund died, they stayed late so my husband and son could say goodbye to her. They did not hurry us, but sat and cried with us. They sent us a card, a remembrance of her, and a copy of her paw prints. What really impressed us was they sent a donation to the Humane Society in her name. Months later, we brought our new Mini Dachshund in to the office. We purchased the care plan and established him as a patient. Dr. Marian Ansems is warm, caring, and very thorough. She has taken the time to explain what is important to do and give him as he grows. The entire staff makes our puppy feel like the most important dog in the world. We have found our forever home here for our dogs.

We have been going to this location since we rescued our little Jamie in Feb 2019. We went to our initial visit with them because with the adoption from the humane society, we had a free visit to make sure she’s good to go and get info to make sure she got all her vaccines and other things needed to keep her healthy. The first visit was so remarkable that we decided the 30 min drive was worth it. You can tell they truly love animals. The customer service has always been too notch. They explain things simply in order for a person like me who is a first time dog parent. We’ve been a little bit of the over protective new parent and want to go above and beyond for our pup, but no one at VCA has ever mace us feel like an inconvenience for asking so many questions.
When it comes to prices, they give us a full page of what they can do, what the prices are, and what things they suggest then let you decide what to do now, later, or ever at all. They are very transparent when it comes to pricing.
We decided to do the CareClub and are so glad we did. It helps give us the peace of mind to know we can just take our pup in for a visit if needed. Our poor little one got attacked by another dog and as much as she was welling, I didn’t see any blood and wasn’t sure the damage. Without care club I would have waited to take her and that mind have caused issues. But since I knew the visit was included in the care club, I decided to take her immediately and they fit her right in. Turned out she did have some punctures and they cleaned it up and gave her meds. And I just had to pay for everything BUT the visit. One time she had diarrhea and we were worried, took her in, she was fine, and the visit was included. I LOVE the careclub.
Once Covid hit, they jumped right on it and took all precautions. Our pup was due for a dental cleaning and we had to wait months for it, but I totally understand due to what’s going on.
VCA really does a great job backing us up and helping us be the best dog parents we can be to our little rescue pup.

I love this place!!! Everyone is super nice and highly professional when it comes to my pets health. Even though it is hard to take your pets to the vet when they are under the weather VCA Hospital is always willing to help us and prioritize our pets health. Also, their receptionist team is AMAZING!!! They are always smiling, helping, answering all your question, and super nice. Like I said they are super nice here and always willing to help!!! I LOVE VCA !!!

If you're looking for a really good veterinary clinic for your dog or cat I HIGHLY recommend VCA Phoenix West Animal!! They have a plan (adult dog plus plan) which is 55$ a month and it covers my puppy getting chipped, spaded, multiple vaccinations, a dental cleaning, lil gifts, and so much more it's actually crazy how much the plan covers. Also the staff was really friendly my pup isn't an adult person she prefers kids, but she loved everyone there. She was scared to be somewhere new but quickly became comfortable. The people explained what and why they were doing what they were doing, and educated me on things I had NO idea about. They're so amazing and sweet I'm putting my other puppy on the plan too cause it's really really worth it. So thankful I went with them 💜 my lil Faith loved all of them!!

Wonderful place. Should have been bringing my dogs here long time ago. Vet is very helpful and willing to share any information on our dogs. Our dog is allergic to grass of all things. The cost of not to expensive but not cheap. But they have a pet plan that will work for you. Tried so many places and this is a wonderful place. Try it out if you need a Veterinarian.

We have been bringing Harley to this clinic since he was very small. Small enough to set him up on the counter. Now hes 80 pounds. The staff here is amazing! They genuinely love him and he loves them. One of the staff members seen that he was comming in for a check and it was his day off, but he came in just to see Mr. Harley. How sweet. We love the fact that we can bring Harley in for "happy visits" too. He's never been afraid to go to the vet because he knows they are his friends. The staff there is very caring and wonderful with him and we also love the fact that they have care packages for him. It makes it a lot easier to manage his care and helps to know that he is being extremely well cared for there. When they have any procedures there, the Dr will call you and let you know how he is doing and is very caring and helpful with any concerns that you may have about your pet or anything else your pet may need. We love them. They're the best veterinary clinc and we highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for taking good care of out sweet boy.

We recently had to take one of our dogs (Buddy) to the vet to have him checked out for some pain issues. They we're absolutely wonderful, I couldn't have asked for a better experiene. We will definitely be coming back to this location for all of Buddies needs.

I've been going here for the past 4 years whenever my pets were ill or if I ever needed a second opinion for my pets health. I really suggest taking advantage of the discounted exam on their website so that you can have the exam for a reasonable price. My experiences have been firstly when my small dog had inflamed tissue around her spinal cord. We were not only given options, but instead left not feeling discouraged that we chose at home care with pain and anti inflammatory meds. I appreciate all they have done for my pup.
Secondly, I've encountered a stray cat and they were willing to scan to see if she had a microchip. The receptionist made us feel very welcome and another colleague made it very easy for me to get that done and have the cat put back in the carrier with ease!

We have been coming here for decades with our fur babies.🐺🐶 The staff is excellent! Very understanding & friendly. Wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. I really like the way Dr. Ansem talks to you & not at you. Talking so we understand & also taking time to answer any & all questions we have.

The Veterinarians are very knowledgeable here. I pretty much had a class on the care of my sick kitty and was educated on the behaviors of dominate cats in the household which can cause undue stress on sick cats. The Vets are thorough and they make followup calls to check on kitty and handle any problems quickly, unlike many other Vet offices. A+

I have trusted the doctors and all of the freindly knowledgeable staff for all of my dogs for many many years. They understand that they are family. I have take my dogs from Puppy, Adult, Senor to the final good byes. They really care of my 4 legged babies as well as my!!!!

Extremely friendly staff. They are very careful and professional with my puppy! Their recommendations and help with making sure my dog is healthy have been honest and in my best interest.

I absolutely love this place. They know my fur babies name right away! They take such good care of him when he goes. Dr. Houser is the best. She makes sure I understand everything going on with my little man.

Dr. Houser was extremely helpful and informative. She was patient and kind and did not rush me and handled a very sensitive issue with my dog Reggie who recently was diagnosed with signs of bone cancer. She was compassionate and really just listened to me. The way she spoke and lended her advice brought peace to concerns I was battling with. Thank you to all the friendly staff at VCA that made my first experience with this office more than I could have asked for. Real, honest and reasonably priced. I did not feel like all they wanted was my money, they truly care. Me and Reggie look forward to working with the VCA on managing his quality of life.

The doctor’s and all of the rest of the staff are so amazing here - everyone is truly caring and fun to talk with - they’ve treated my dog, dozer, so well and always helped me to make the best decisions for him . I can’t recommend this facility enough; I have been bringing dozer here for over a year and he gets excited to see everyone every time. It’s hard during a situation like COVID to send your furry friend inside and not be able to go with them - but the way dozer acts how happy he is to go and coming out just shows how nice everyone is and how well they treat him.
