Sturdy Health Primary Care - Norton (formerly Norton Medical Center)

I don't know why there are negative reviews for this place but it happens I guess. I have been going here for over 10 years and never had a bad experience. I think it's time for me to give my review. From the receptionists to the medical assistants to the lab techs and finally the doctors, I have had nothing but good things to say.

Dr. Mallik seems to care deeply about my health. We are on friendly terms but I will get scolded on occasion for not taking my meds regularly or for not having a physical recently but isn't that what you want from a doctor? I credit her for realizing that I might have prostate cancer which was later confirmed by the urologist that she referred me to. This was when I came in for something completely different - a possible torn tricep tendon which was also confirmed.

Anyway, I moved recently so getting here takes a good while longer than it used to but I am good with that and I will continue to go here for as long as they will have me.

Always a very positive experience at this Sturdy group Medical Facility.
Through the years my primary care doctors have changed of course
but I've never been disappointed in the staff or my primary care doctor.
At the age of 81 now I guess you could say they're doing ok so far.
My primary care doctor currently is Mark Umphrey , and I think I'm in
good hands with him. He listens, gives great advice, and has guided me through a few medical issues with which I've done well and am back to
good health.

Love going here has the best phlebotomist around I have followed her from place to place. Makes ur experience so easy and quick. I hate needles and it’s so quick and painless. Jenae is AMAZING.

I have Dr Umphreys as my PCP and regularly see the NP Patrick. I’ve never had a bad experience and have only positive things to say. Patrick is extremely thoughtful and is the main reason I’ve continued there but I would definitely recommend them.

Needed a new primary and Norton Medical Center did not let me down. The reception staff was fantastic and very welcoming. Their customer focused demeanor make me feel great about trusting my health to this facility.

I've been seeing Dr Mallick at NMC for close to 10 years and really like having her as my primary care doctor. Very attentive, caring, she listens and is good!

My daughter and I went there for the first time and they were so nice.
Her doctor was wonderful, the lab technician was great got her blood with the first try and the receptionist and the lady who took her payment they both were really nice I definitely would recommend this place

I have been coming to this office since 1995. Even with staff changes, they have been nothing but knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly to myself and my children who now go there - since birth. I’ve moved many times and still will travel to them.

Dr. Mallick is one of the best doctors I have ever seen I don’t know why there are so many terrible reviews about her she is educated and knows what she’s doing and makes smart choices about my health.

Such a great doctor!! The staff is friendly and nice too! Love the small town feel of this office.

For the most part, I really enjoy my experiences here. No matter what doctor or nurse I'm dealing with on my particular visit, they are all kind and helpful! My only complaint would be about the answering service they use when the office is closed or they are off for lunch. The person on the other end is always super hard to hear like they are far from the phone itself and all they ever say is 'The office is closed. Call back another time' and half the time, when I ask when the office will be open next, the person on the other end doesnt even know. The fact that you can't leave messages with them seems pretty odd and honestly a little inconvient to me, also making me wonder what the point of having an answering service is if they don't.
