I took our dog in for a spot on his tooth... the Dr. Identified other issues that had nothing to do with a tooth. She got us sent over to the ER for tests that found the root cause. If it weren't for her skills our dog probably would have suffered far longer. I'm thankful and sad... but lucky we went here. Thank you Dr.

Sheryl is an absolute gem - what a special person to start our very scary emergency experience with our puppy. And Dr Montebello- wow! Such patience with us while answering all of our questions. I HIGHLY recommend this practice and continue to be incredibly grateful for them.

Absolutely the best for dental care that your dog needs! They go above and beyond with caring for pets, ensuring that they're comfortable and that owners are kept informed. We got color photos of the before and after pics to see how our dogs teeth were cleaned. Last time, they made a repair to an important tooth that I didn't even know could be done for a dog! They really know how to treat you and your pet, giving you the best care and informed service that I've ever had from a vet!
Free tip - Don't give your dog bully sticks to chew on a regular basis as they wear down important teeth that your dog needs and the cost to repair broken teeth is high, if even possible!
Also: Brush your dog's teeth regularly and you'll help keep him/her healthy, possibly avoiding the need for expensive dental cleaning under anesthesia.

These guys are wonderful, and I would recommend their specialist service to anyone. I was seen at the Peoria location. I was especially impressed with the text message communication during Wren's entire day with them and the thoroughness of the discharge instructions when I picked her up. I even got a picture of her to take home and hang on my fridge :) My border collie had two fractured lower canines, and she got a root canal in one and a crown on the other. I feel confident with the quality of work performed and am very thankful for their expertise.

I brought my boy Scout in to find out treatment options for 4 worn down canine teeth. Other vets could only pull his teeth which I did not want to do. My boy is a rescue and very fearful of people. They were able to accommodate his behavior and made him feel comfortable and were very compassionate throughout his visit. The staff is so friendly and the doctor we worked with was obviously very knowledgeable. They kept me updated all day on how he was doing. Scout had a little bit of issues during anesthesia but they are very well equipped to deal with it and monitored him continuously. He had 2 root canals and prepped for 4 crowns and did very well with the procedure. We go back in 2 weeks to get his crowns placed. I can't wait to see them. Im so happy I came here and am able to save his teeth. Well worth the money!

Update: Scout has his crowns! It's so nice to see him playing again with no pain. And his new shiny smile looks great.

My boy Sam was suffering...and I didn't want him to be in ANY pain. I was afraid that the only way to be sure he wouldn't suffer (after surgery) with nerve pain...would to allow him to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The Surgical Team not only took a great deal of time and effort to explain each and every step he'd go through/what they would be doing, but kept me current through the surgerical process and my boys progress...in just about real-time! They even provided Sam "after hours" attention/care, and contact with me. Sam was feeling SO GOOD the next day, he was able to eat solid food...and hasn't stopped! Only 2 weeks later, Sam was trying to play with his toys again! (He had to learn how to hold them without any teeth...and still tries to give me love bites!) While the pain medication they sent home with him provided post-surgical comfort, which allowed for complete healing...it was the TYPE OF PROCEDURE, LEVEL OF QUALITY SURGICAL TECHNIQUE, & DEDICATION TO DETAILED CARE...to which EVERY TEAM MEMBER CONTRIBUTED...that I BELIEVE has ALLOWED Sam to be living a healthy, happy, playful, QUALITY life...free of pain...where he's COMPLETELY spoiled!

I am absolutely grateful for Dr Kipp Wingo and all the staff here. I went there distraught over my dog who had a broken jaw. I was put to ease and immediately felt like I came to the right place. Dr. Wingo is very professional and definitely cares about helping animals you can just tell that he loves what he does and that is important to me. Talking with him made me feel like my dog was in good hands. My dog went into surgery immediately. I was sent texts with updates about how my dog was doing through surgery. Getting those updates meant a lot to me they even emailed me a picture of him and printed some out for me to take home. When i picked up my dog he actually looked great and when i brought him home I could tell he was feeling better. The next day he was back to his normal self. It has been a week since surgery and he is doing great. I would definitely recommend Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialist for all your pets dental needs.

The vets that work here are very good and very caring. My father brought his beloved dog in for teeth removal and they really went the extra mile with everything, including snapping a photo of our dog.

Friendly staff and the Dr. Explained the procedures to me and answered all questions. They took photos that they shared of before and after results. Both my pets were comfortable with the staff and in their offices. Very pleased with the results and knowing my pets are now pain free.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Nyquist performed full mouth extractions on my cat who was suffering from severe stomatitis. She’s doing amazing despite how big of a deal this procedure was, and back to her usual antics. Couldn’t have asked for a better care team for my cat. Not only was Dr. Nyquist exceptionally kind and caring towards my cat, but she also did a superb job surgically and had a strong emphasis on pain control which made this major operation seamless. I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Nyquist and would trust her with any of my pets’ oral health. All this coming from my unique perspective as an ER veterinarian having witnessed first hand the aftermath of poor dental care.

It was refreshing to enter this specialty clinic and be met with calmness which was reassuring for me and my pets. We did not feel that we were being rushed through. All of the staff and veterinarians took their time in ensuring that all my questions were answered thoroughly and they took time with my puppies - who had never been in a veterinary clinic as my mobile vet came to my house to vaccinate them. It was a fantastic experience.

OUTSTANDING! The service and support we received was truly amazing. This practice is extremely organized, efficient, compassionate and immaculate. I was extremely nervous about my Ari going in for her dental procedure because she is in renal failure. She was cleared for surgery by her Internist and Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists came highly recommended. Our first visit we met Dr.Coffman and he was very caring and spent time with us discussing our risks and recommended Dr. Lukasik for an anesthesiologist to be sure Ari had the best care. I was very nervous but scheduled her for a dental cleaning and extractions. Dr. Jucan and Dr. lukasik met us the day of surgery and spent time with us discussing all of our concerns and explained in depth the procedure to help ease our fears. As Ari went back for surgery Irma sent me texts messages updating me the entire time and sent an adorable picture of my girl. They treated her so well almost like a spa day for her with all the high technology bedding to keep her warm. The professionalism, compassion and extreme knowledge of both Dr. Jucan and Dr. lukasik is remarkable. Thanks to Dr. Jucan Ari’s mouth is absolutely beautiful, her teeth/gums are sparkling, infection out and no more odor. Tina, thank you for taking such great care of Ari during her procedure!!!!! I highly recommend these specialists! Truly the best care we have received from beginning to end. We thank you ALL so much for all you do and taking great care of our pets!

World class experience. My little chihuahua needed a delicate extraction
of his lower canines. He has a touchy heart. I know of no other place that can do this surgery. The cost is reasonable. Other vets turned him down. Had I known about this clinic, he would have all of his teeth. I am most grateful to correct his teeth and save what I can.

This place is incredible! This was our first experience with AZ Veterinary Dental Specialists. They were able to quickly fit us into their schedule in order to check on our girl Autumn. The level of care and professionalism here is the best we’ve ever seen. We are so thankful to all the staff! They took the time to sit with us and explain everything in detail - the concerns with her teeth, a walkthrough of the procedure, explaining the X-rays - everything! Our Kylo Ren suffered a mouth injury and needed surgery asap. I had called 6 other vets and was not able to get in anywhere for about a month. Due to the urgency I was able to get in quickly. The entire staff was so helpful and compassionate with our guy, he loved the attention. Dr.Magnolia was super knowledgeable and helped us to understand what the best decision for Kylo was. They also pointed us in the right direction to figure out finances as well! Highly recommend!

Hi this is Veronika Hall, our beloved cat Sparrow had dental surgery done (Full mouth extraction) on 12/14. He is doing really well thanks to the excellent care he recieved at AZ vet dental. Thank you so much Dr Coffman and Dr Nyquist for taking the extra time to explain every little detail about Sparrows surgery and helping me with the decision to go foreward with surgery. You both are the best. Everyone was beyond great. Special thanks to Maija and Stephanie who kept me updated while Sparrow was sedated. It really helped ease my anxiety. Dr. Jucan is AMAZING! What a blessing it was to have her for Harley's Doctor. I can not recommend her and the amazing team she has enough. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boy. Dr. Jucan even called me on a holiday to check on Harley to make sure he was feeling better and that was so sweet. The day we brought Harley in for his surgery she told me " He will leave here feeling so much better" and He Did! The entire team was awesome and called, texted and emailed us the entire time. I cannot recommend Dr. Adrian and the entire AZ Veterinary Dental Specialists team at the Glendale location highly enough. We were very concerned about having our senior border collie's teeth cleaned. He has always had severe reactions to anesthesia in the past.

From the initial phone call to the follow up appointment everyone we spoke to was kind, courteous and professional. They took the time to answer all of our questions and address all of our concerns.

Happy to say Mojo fully recovered without any of the negative anesthesia side effects he had to endure in the past. He is feeling even better than before his cleaning since he had a cracked tooth that needed to be pulled. So happy we made the decision to go with AZ Veterinary Dental Specialists.

We are incredibly thankful for Dr. Balke and all the staff at the Gilbert office for going above and beyond to care for our 11 week old Shih Tzu taken in with a broken jaw. Not only were they willing to take him in immediately to perform the surgery he needed but Dr. Balke followed up this evening to check on our little guy. We had to bring out 8 month old puppy for an unusual dental surgery to remove her teeth and four cysts. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with the staffs care and compassion . Dr Wingo explained everything that was going to happen in great detail. During her surgery I received texts to let me know when they started and she was ok. After surgery Dr. Wingo personally took the time to go through what he did how the monitored her and what to expect when we got home. He even texted me personally in the evening to check on her. I was truly impressed with the entire experience and all of the staff especially Dr. Wingo.
