Absolutely loved the food from here it was not a meal it was a feast wow! Incredibly tasty everything was perfect from the orange chicken the chicken fried rice and the chow mein wow you can't forget the crab racoon oh my gawd they are absolutely delicious would definitely be coming back soon if not daily!!!

I had a feast one day at S&S Thai, and everything was great. Amazing food! Everything I had was delicious.

I was driving by one day wondering what this place had to offer. I was at work today thinking what can I have to fulfill my hunger needs. I ordered from here to take out and wow I absolutely do not regret making this selection, for diner. I order ahead of time and it was ready withing 10 minutes by the time I got their it was ready for pickup the staff is kind and friendly couldn't ask for more. Returned to work and opened up my bag I had napkins, sauces, plenty of forks and all was attention to detail. The food was deliciously seasoned and prepared not oily not greasy it was a genuine cuisine would definitely keep coming back here for more!

I loved the service, I love the food, the Thai spring rolls were amazing that my boyfriend ate more them than I did. The rice perfectly on point and love how it comes with a cucumber and lemon they make it compatibly good and the sushi was perfect especially the spicy salmon with mayo and unagi sauce. The Alaska was great also (the red sauce my own)

The food is fantastic I stopped going to panda express because this is my go to spot it's local right around the corner! ,Ha, and also outperforms any of the competition in the area 😀 I loved their orange chicken chow mein noodles and fried rice it was a feast! Absolutely would recommend to family and friends you have gained a loyal customer!
Oh btw don't forget about the crab ragoons!! Delicious mouth watering cuisine!!!!

We try to have a regular date night a couple times a month and this Friday night was no exception.
We have had food delivery from the restaurant before and it was been right on point... so we decided to try the restaurant itself. So we found parking on the street and headed inside of the restaurant.
When we got inside, the atmosphere is very chill. Nothing frilly or divey about this place... the smells that came from the kitchen area that is just in the middle of the restaurant was probably the best thing ever!
We had a little bit to get seated cause it was pretty packed for a Friday night - not surprising - and because the only waitress that was we saw working was doing double duty of also seating people and serving the tables. The other lady that was behind the counter was busy with the phone orders and the internet orders that were coming in... it was a sight to see!
After we were seated - the waitress apologizing so much, which was sweet and we told her that we totally understood - we started checking out the menu. OMG!!! That menu is epic!! So many types of plates to choose from... I was on Thai food overload but I already knew what I wanted to eat and so did the hubby. So when the waitress came back to take our order, we just told her our order from appetizer, to meal, to drinks so that she wouldn't have to coming back to our table more than once.
The hubby decided to try the Thai iced tea and I have to say that it was yummy. If you like Thai coffee, you will like this drink.
We got chive dumplings for our appetizer and it was the first time I had this. It was really good with its little crusty shell from being pan fried to the sauce that came on the side
Our food came right after we were done with our appetizer... I had tofu Pad Thai and the hubby got tofu Panag Curry. I have to say that their food is pretty epic! We've had both their Pad Thai and Panag Curry before and we were not disappointed at all.
Since we've never been to the actual restaurant, we didn't know that it is BYOB so that is an additional point in my book for those that like a glass of wine or a beer with their food.
I can't wait to come back to the restaurant and bring our daughter with us. She will love the food choices that are available!

This shrimp curry dish with rice hit the spot. This place is clean and all the staff are very nice. The portions are big enough to get you full. I could only finish half.

The best chow mein I ever ate. I’m very picky when ordering takeout but this restaurant did not disappoint. I’ll be ordering my food from here rather than Panda Express.

Really surprised at the bad reviews. Tried it on a whim, had the katsu chicken curry and it was fantastic. Baby egg rolls flavorful and excellent texture. Looking forward to trying the sushi!

Good service and great-quality, fresh ingredients. Sometimes they are short staffed and super swamped with takeout, so be patient—and you will be well-rewarded with some of the best noodles in Avondale! I highly recommend their BBQ pork yellow noodle soup—the broth alone is to die for. Their pad see ew is also delicious, as is their (classic) pad thai.

Great quality food, consistently! Best Thai food in the area. The restaurant is alway nice and clean. It great for date night and it's byob!

Fresh fresh fresh taste all fresh with only the best ingredients . A must stop by.

I enjoy coming here with my family! I love the smoothies here. Great service and I usually get the garden rolls! They taste great with the peanut sauce.

Food isn’t bad for a small beginner business

I don’t get why people are complaining when they don’t even go to a 10 star restaurant and pay the prices shown yet you complain about a cheap meal

If you are looking for a good Thai place, look no furthur.
This place is awesome.
I usually get the Cashew Chicken which is amazing, but today I decided to venture out and try a new dish and got the Mango Chicken and OMG im so glad I tried it. The chicken is fried in a delicious batter but not greasy at all, and the mango sauce with chunk of mango in it is perfect. Sweet but not too sweet.
The pad thai and fried rice are always on point. All the ingredients are fresh.
Also they have great customer service. The order taker and the driver were both very friendly.

**For anyone wondering about covid, I have picked up from here and they do have a great system for social distancing. The employees don't even get close to you, they put your bag on a table for you to grab. All the employees are masked including the delivery driver today.

Delicious. We got three noodle dishes and all tasty, flavorful, and lots of sauce. The tofu was deliciously cooked- even my boyfriend liked it. The review before me, that is a cooked Thai eggplant. Not a rotten lime…

I loved it. I highly recommend this place.. good food,service and they make you feel important.

DELICIOUS! S and S Thai is the BEST Thai food around! Pad Woonsen is fabulous! All of our dishes were excellent and prices are reasonable! And we LOVE their egg rolls too!

I love my soup Hot and typically have to ask for it that way in advance. Not here. My soup came hot - thank you. Food was wonderful, full of flavor and not overdone. Roger was attentive and caring making frequent stops to check on the table. Welcome to Chicago Roger and don’t be scared of the cold.

Amazing food and great service. I had the Teriyaki Chicken bento box and the gyoza. All the items were perfectly crafted and tasted fantastic. The pricing was exceptionally modest for the amount of food that you received. Will definitely be a regular location for anytime I have a craving for that type of cuisine. Excited to try more
